Google is pushing out an update to the Play Store for Android with version 3.10.14. The difference in size compared to the previous version 3.10.10 from a bit over 2 months ago is about 14KB, and after ripping through the APK, I found no significant changes. There are some tweaks to the billing code, but from what I can tell, this is a bug fix release.
If you spot any changes compared to 3.10.10, drop a note in the comments.

The APK, uploaded by XDA member ecs1984, is signed by Google and upgrades your existing Play Store. The cryptographic signature guarantees that the apk was not tampered with in any way and is therefore safe to install. Use this download if you'd rather have the latest version rather than having to wait for Google to randomly push it to your device. Download and install it just like any other APK.

Ok you said to download the APK from this member. I went to his page and I download the playstore black market. I am trying to get the playstore on my prestige 10 tablet so it doesn't have google play what so ever, but his directions didn't make any sense....
Play Store : Download the zip file and boot into recovery and flash it.. Use a file explorer that you can view system files and make sure your Market is named Phonesky.apk instead of Vending.apk.. Rename it if needed and reboot.. then flash mine..
^---What in the worldddd does that mean?? None of it made sense to me.. He lost me at "boot into recovery and flash it." I am REALLLY trying to get the play store on this tablet. If I can't I will just return it b/c it is USELESS without the freaking PLAY STORE!!! PLEASE HELP MEE!!!

I install it as .apk application. Don't uninstall old version. It works for me.
Hi,
my HTC Hero (SPHONGLE 3.7 ROM) had no Play Store icon so I installed the Play Store 3.10.14. I got the icon now but it sez 'Application not found'. I found 'Vending.apk' in /system/app. Is that what should have been installed? This app requires rights to send and receive SMS.
Did I install malware?
Best regards,
Toshi

I don't understand you. My experience is that Play Store to install can not work if I had not installed gapps.
When installed gapps Play Store is already installed. If is this Play Store older version and you want new version, you just
install new version Play Store like every apk and it is it.
ok, I'll try with Gapps

After installed Gapps, connect on Internet, click on icon of Play Store, when Play Store open, try instal some application from Play Store.
If it work, it is O.K. After of this, install new version Play Store.
Thanks for your hints! I wiped everything including factory reset and installed again. Gapps are included in ROM but Play Store still "Application not found". Then I started to install new version Play Store but I stopped when I was asked to allow SMS sending. Now the original Play Store is working!
Best regards,
Toshi

First of all, the updated Play Store (v3.9.16) brings with it expanded notifications for Jelly Bean users. Now, the Play Store will notify users of the name of the apps for which updates are available, instead of just saying “x Updates Available”. The notification bar logo has also been changed to the Play Store logo, which looks neat.
However, the most important change in the update is that the Play Store *finally* keeps your position in a list, and does not scroll back to the top, after you check an app description and come back to the list. After the low resolution Google Contacts syncing issue, the Play Store not retaining a user’s position in a list was among the most frustrating bugs plaguing Android users.
Finally, users can now remove apps from the ‘My Apps’ section in the Play Store. You can select multiple apps by long-pressing on them, and removing them by pressing the Trash icon at the top.

I've tried on CM 10. Perhaps this is the reason?
I'm hoping someone can help me before I throw my nexus 7 out the window I'm on paranoid android 2.2 with gapps ending in "26". When I install this apk for the new play store I get "app not installed, there is already a similar app with conflicting signatures". Now, under downloaded apps in settings I don't even have the play store listed, it's under "all", but not under downloaded where you would normally see it. Someone suggested that I change the apk to "phone sky" and copy it to system/apps....I don't see phonesky anywhere on my nexus 7, but I did rename it and copied it over, it didn't work.Does anybody know how I can install this simple apk? Why it's coming back with a conflicting signature error message? I install apk's all the time, and others that I know on custom roms are not having this issue. I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks!

I havent used a nexus7 or paranoid, but i am pretty sure this method works everywhere..
After pasting this apk into system/app you also need to change the permissions of the app to rw-r-r
something like this-

Somehow causes an error whenever any other app requires any data / connection to this version of Play Store.
It says: "Unfortunately, com.android.vending has stopped".
I've pushed it to /system/app to replace the original vending apk (called Phonesky in Tipo). Could it be that it requires the old version of the app for some reason to prevent crashes?
I installed over old version, working great. If you have layout problems like white tiles disable ad blocker!

Sorry to have caused you trouble there.

Gapps Manager
Google play link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.itslightness.gappsmanager
APK is also attached because how tf are you going to download from google play if you don't have gapps
Description:
Gapps Manager easy lets you download the proper gapps (google apps) flashable zip package to install on your custom ROMs.
Currently, it supports gapps for gingerbread (2.3.x), ics (4.0.x), jellybean (4.1.x-4.3.x), and kitkat (4.4.x), art support also available.
Not sure what version of android you're on? It can tell you that also, just select android version when you open the menu.
Never bother with searching for compatible gapps again, or waste your time ending up with gapps that don't work properly for you.
What's New
v1.1:
*Gingerbread force close fix
*Added a download complete notification
*Minor bug fixes

Thanks; Thought about this sometime and its finally here.
Will you be including slim gapps as well as the full packages?
Sent from my C6603 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Suggestion to make it even easier for noobs:
Auto-detect android version, and automatically recommend what GAPPS for the user? Eventually, if you use 4.4, the choise of dalvik or art before download?
And for advanced users: still possible to choose android version manually.
Am I allowed to include this in a ROM I have?
As someone else has mentioned, will other versions of gapps be included? I'd love to see an app that brings together all the google resources, from slim to zgapps to 0-day pa
Does this app link to any gapps that include non-neon compatibility libs? Thanks.
Does this includes TKruzze's [GAPPS][4.4.x/4.3.x]OFFICIAL 0-Day PA-GOOGLE APPS (All ROM's) and BaNkS [GApps][4.4.2]?
I haven't installed yet but I'll go ahead and ask first anyway. Does this install the bare minimum ONLY to get access to google play for downloading the rest or is this a large selection of google apps by default? Thank you for this product. It sounds like something that was overdue.
Jusy checked iy on on my retired Dinc2 with 4.4. It works simple and easy. Thanks although woulf love to have option of slim/full/PA complete for my DD phone, but i'm sure that will come in time?
Sweet!
can you somehow support dark moded apps that are avalible I really hate white pages with a passion

i am sure you are already in the right place.
after flashing your custom rom, you will also need to flash the GAPPS zip file to make certain google apps available for use.
if you are thinking of getting the individual apks to install, believe me it will not work because those apk also rely on some packages that has already being included in the gaaps.

Hello Everyone ~

Then , i open up the google installer app (the red logo) and it stated at the google play there "installed" . This is very weird . So , i did a factory reset . And install the play store again through the google installer app. Ok , the play store successfully installed. But, after i reboot the phone , the same thing happen , the play store suddenly disappear again. I dont know whats wrong .

mine doesn't have google playstore preinstalled too, but after doing some research i think these steps might help you.
P.S i've tried installing google playstore and google installer manually from apk and had no success in a stable working app.
1. open the xiaomi market
2. find the apps called google installer
3. install it, and then choose google playstore
4. when you clicked it there will be a notice saying "google framework/google services need to be installed first to make google playstore works" just clicked ok, and follow the apps package bundle provided to be installed (framework, services, and playstore).
5. finish and enjoyed your playstore now.
6. the playstore will work 100% and stable too, unless well, you're in china......:laugh::laugh:
And what to do if in Market app after typing Google in search field, nothing like google installer come up???

This is especially good for older phones.
I still have Redmi 1S, which works well, but RAM memory is low.
This is the arm (32bit). Could you please also do the arm version?

Sorry for the late response, I will remove the thermal conf in next build

All right, there's no hurry.
I will also try to find something. Maybe someone else will.
I think more people would appreciate it and you are the only one who knows that the gapps go did.

Might work but I'd say not updated lol
Noticed a couple of the problems, having to do with apps and folder names.
Under system/priv-app two folders need to be renamed so there is no spaces: Google Assistant Go and Google Go.
Also, rename the file within each to GoggleAssistantGo.apk and GoogleGo.apk respectively. And rename the app within system/priv-app/Phonesky to Phonesky.apk <=(it's the play store file). Should clear most problems...besides the play store crashing I had problems with for about 2 hours. That was because I had residual files in my devices system folder clashing with the GO install. Make sure the only Google play services you have installed is the one provided in the zip here. (Device folder tree> system/priv-app/PreBuiltGmsCore/PrebuiltGmsCore.apk) remove all other versions.
Gmail Go on anything lower than Oreo?

It works very fine except some problems like:
1.After 2/3 successful reboot the lockscreen doesn't accepts lock pattern or any lock pin/password but no worries you can able to open it through force fingerprint unlocking or deleting the locksettings.db from twrp/custom recovery or terminal.
2.The google assistant works fine but it cannot listen to your ok google directly you have to manually click on the mic.
3. The last bug i.e, the side google search is removed totally but if you install launcher like google or Microsoft you can see the side google bar present on the desktop.
But, Overall i love it and really i didn't faced any other problem based on google maps which is mentioned above. The battery drain is fine. All fine except above problems.
Thank you developer.
