Description
I'm neither developing nor tweaking these ROMs ; merely bringing them to XDA from MoDaCo for those of us who don't frequent that forum. I do not claim credits or responsibilty for anything that occurs while flashing these ROMs
The struggle to find the ROM you need is over. Some people like CyanogenMod, some prefer AOKP and some like the advantages of ParanoidAndroid. To cure your ROM hunt, PACMan ROM was brought about. We have picked the best features from CM10, AOKP and ParanoidAndroid and combined them in a single ROM so you get the experience you deserve : to enjoy the features of every available project without the hassle of flashing regularly. The Rom is a WIP, so expect some minor hiccups, but we are trying our best to resolve these issues
IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A DIRECT UPGRADE FOR PREVIOUS RELEASES OF PAC-MAN ROM, FULL WIPE IS REQUIRED. THIS IS BASED ON ANDROID 4.2.2
Installation Instructions
Requires minimum 160MB System partition
-Download ROM, GApps on your SD card from the end of the post
-Boot into recovery
-Optionally, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: BACKUP YOUR CURRENT ROM
-Wipe Data/Factory Reset (Mandatory if you're coming from any other ROM!)
-Wipe Cache
-Mounts/Storage > Format System (Mandatory if you're coming from any other ROM!)
-Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache
-Install from zip > Select downloaded ROM
-Install from zip > Select downloaded GApps
-Reboot (might take a while. Be patient!)

ParanoidAndroid 3 for ZTE Blade
Description :
ParanoidAndroid is a unique hybrid ROM that is neither tablet UI, nor phone UI but an amazing blend of both. It allows the end user to choosse what kind of UI is diplayed : the compact phone interface and the feature rich, sometimes dual-pane tablet interface, with fully functional features including per app DPI, one click option to switch between UIs, PIE UI interface and loads more. The Rom is a WIP, so expect some minor hiccups, but we are trying our best to resolve these issues
IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A DIRECT UPGRADE FOR PREVIOUS RELEASES OF ParanoidAndroid ROM, FULL WIPE IS REQUIRED. THIS IS BASED ON ANDROID 4.2.2

Good to see you Quantum. Good work on the Blade forums  . Although I don't use the Blade as much as the Xperia S or the X900,I do check for the latest ROMs in your posts. Jellybean on Blade indicates how good a device the Blade is. Hopefully someday JB becomes completely stable.

- freeze youtube from TIBu - restore or install youtube 3.5.5 and unfreeze.

- under settings/ developer options check: disable HW overlays and Force GPU rending
- under settings/ performance/ processor for cpu governor i have ondemandx
- under settings/ performance/ memory management check kernel samepage merging
- under settings/ performance/ surface improvement make sure default is checked
- I use incredicontrol app but make sure kernel IO is set to BFQ *I have this set as it seems to help performance is some games i play*
I have been messing around for about a week straight and could have done something else but this is how i have my options set right now and my youtube app has not crashed once all day since this morning. Good luck to any who wish to try this.

I am guessing 1.8 is JB not ICS correct? Looks cool, will have to give this a shot my man...thanks...
Little confused here. Do you have to flash a different rom then flash 1.8 over it? Or is 1.8 a rom it self?
It looks delicious but i wanna know what are the differences between this and jelly time?
Just downloaded and installed as described over ParanoidAndroid v1.5.
Was hanging for more than 10 minutes on the bootanmination. Now back on v1.5.
Anything wrong or is it intended to take that long?

Thanks for the ROM and im looking forward to the future development of this ROM

The way to access it would be to use a custom action widget from Apex launcher. Give it a try!

Just try the stock kernel first, it works very well.

I always use N.E.A.K. kernel and it works very well for battery life, customisation, Wolfson audio...

The Mysterious ROM is a ROM based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It exists on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 and Samsung I9100 and Samsung I9300 and Maguro and Tilapia and Hercules and Toro and i9100g and Manta.
Features :
Added Linaro
So fast !
Added Bionic optimizations :
morfic said:
bionic is the "libc" of android, there are hardware optimized memcpy/memset and a few others for cortex-a9 and/or armv7-a, but also others specifically for krait, using those instead of stock bionic versions perform the same job a lot better than the more generic versions in aosp.
That affects memory throughput significantly and anything where you move data and need memory throughput using those functions will benefit from it.
there are other (math) functions that can be optimized more for the particular hardware

☆★☆better watch out... Better not cry, gunna sick one of our muffins on ya, no lie☆★☆
For the folk who can't fine inverted gapps - do like I did and search on Google.
A couple to choose from.
BTW, I flashed this rom. Ran it for a few hours. Works great, really fast. A few hours isn't going to turn up all the bugs tho (if there are any) I guess.
I'm enjoying Sense 5 too much at the moment so went back, but if you like AOKP this rom is certainly worth a go.
Any idea how to get flash player to work on this ROM? I'm loving the speed of this ROM...

Use modaco toolkit for downloading flash player

Xtream Bean v2 released! Enjoy...!
Welcome to my first port and major contribution to the xda community. I really do not own a DHD or I4G but these devices have always been in my heart. Recently I have took the first steps into coming into active android ROM development. When I found out the Xperia Arc S had such a similar hardware and the DHD needed a clean, stable and elegant performing ROM I thought to my self: "Give it what it wants!" And here I am presenting you Xtream Bean! (Original thread).
Bugs:
Most bugs fixed,pm if you found one!
Please reply for help, questions, and everything about the ROM.
Since I do not own Desire HD or Inspire 4G, I need your help to make this ROM perfect.
So, please attach screenshots when you face any force closes or errors.
This way you help me alot.

The ROM has only been tested with it's own kernel. If you wish to keep your own kernel proceed at your own risk,I do not take responsibility for anything that happens while using this ROM. Enjoy!
What kernel does it have? Also what version of Jellybean is it? 4.1.2 or 4.2.2?

I'm not sure!
What are the differences between this and Jellytime 4.1 except for launcher and theme?
I do not know why you do not encourage new ROM? although perhaps the ROM is not good it should be encouraged (I'm not saying that the ROM is bad instead i like it )

There is much more to it than those.SlimBean has custom settings, more features, a smoother system, dark systemUI option etc. In general it has more features. Enjoy Akateha's ROM.
