Stock Launcher Quick Settings - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Would anybody have an idea at how I would be able to add toggles to the quick settings list? Would be cool to be able to modify it.
I think it involves decompiling and editing code in the homescreen.apk itself.
I will be decompiling it with apktools soon, if anyone has any ideas on how to achieve this please share!

[Q] Changing wallpaper in phonebook, settings, dialer etc..

Hi, I want to change the wallpaper in phonebook, settings and the dialer. I want the wallapaper to be the same as my homescreen wallpaper. I have Eminence v1.2 installed. Is there a way to do it?
You will need to modify the framework-res.apk for the settings background, and (I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong here) I think the Dialler and Phone Book are in the same APK, which I think is dialer.apk

[Q] Editing framework-res.apk to get the ARC lockscreen?

I know I can use WidgetLocker to get the ARC lockscreen
But I've been trying to modify the framework-res.apk and I think it is possible to get the ARC lockscreen. Using WidgetLocker doesn't change the way the bar looks when some-one calls either.
I think there might be many people who like how the ARC ui looks...so i think anyone who can help me might also help a lot of ppl as well
Thx in advance!

If you have some basic theming skills, you can virtually mod any png in the framework_res.apk of your phone.. I am in no means a dev or themer and i was still able to change lockscreen and status bar within like 10 mins, no lie

[Q] customizing ICS navbar button order?

Hey there. Been looking around a bit for how to change the order of the navbar buttons on ICS, and also add/remove them. I got used to this functionality on my Galaxy Nexus on AOKP b29. I have the navbar set to
<back> <home> <menu (persistant)> <search>
according to the AOKP chatroom, they have it figured out for tablets, but it's not implemented into the rom yet. So Im wondering... if its figured out, how is it done?
Can anyone hit me up with some info or where to look? It'd be greatly appreciated.
I'm sure the information is either in an XML layout file or a java activity file within the ROM's system or framework-res apks, though I wouldn't be able to tell for sure, I'm guessing the systemUI.apk since that is where the images that overlay the nav bar are located..

You're right, in systemui.apk there's a status_bar.xml file with all the layout of the status bar, including the buttons.
I might implement this feature in my rom.

You can use APKtool to modify your stock systemui.apk and/or framework-res.apk to change the appearance of status/notification bar. There may be some other system apps that you'll need to modify to make it work correctly.
You should be able to find guides for using APKtool to modify and theme apps then installing the modified app on a device.
