sounds like you will need to reinstall the rom on your phone,use the software that came with your phone or flashtool

The volume is low compared to my ipod and there are apps that increase it but they only work when u leave the app open so is there any permanent ways?

try a sound mod if you rooted your phone. Viper4android would be good

yeah,but i prefer AC!D AUDIO ENGINE :angel:
When i change the song using earphone's mic then sometimes my phone gets restarted..
This problem continues from the first firmware i.e 4.2.1 to the current firmware i.e 4.2.2.. does anyone else facing this problem?any solution?

I do face this problem. Using the Sony earphones, my phone gets rebooted. I also tried Samsung earphones, then also it got rebooted. But when I tried my Philips earphones, it worked like charm. I'd also love to know the solution...
Factory reset solved the problem for me

Are you using DSP Manager by any chance?
I used to have that issue on 4.1.2 but after upgrading to 4.2.2 I haven't experienced that since, I listen to music daily without issues. I have no custom music enhancer/app. Just good old Walkman. Also to add I use a JVC headset (not Sony).
No m not using DSP manager.
Currently m using skullcandy earphones.

Searching in the forum I've found a JB mod for improve the sound but it not specified if I can install it in my Xperia L. Can I do it or it's only for other devices?

I've installed the super audio, not noticed any of issues like battery drain. And man the audio quality is awesome!

You can select anything from there.
Better select High Quality to balance between performance and battery.

everytime i install driver and asks for reboot it asks again to instALl driver after reboot. i dont think z-ized rom have sound apps for boost. should i unistall and the stock audio effects?

Yes. You must uninstall it first..
