it's always better to search/post problem in the ROM thread...
most probably ROM is creating problem with VOIP..so google voice is not working!
Again posting in ROM thread will surely solve ur problem!

I did search but I didn't find an answer that work correct my problem.
Can you explain your problem more specifically? For instance, what happens and what does the system say when you try to install an apk or download the app from Play Store? 100 problems may have 100 solutions.

It let me install Google voice and go through all the steps but so as it loads up my messages it Force Close
It seems to be working for us

Well, have you ever had the same problem while running other ROM's, such as CM or native android? If not, then this must be a BUG of MIUI.

yes I have tried CM 10.1 and other roms and never had this problem

Ok, hey guys,
My street view on google maps never works, on 4.0.4 and now a 4.1.1 rom i got from here, when i press on a area in google maps it just says loading and nothing happens, PLEASE give me a sloution, im on a note 10.1 fyi....
should work, have you tried to reinstall street view? cleaning cache/program temp etc?
Just seems to work randomly, its ok now, so strange, tnx though

Was on my note 10.1, unsure of the rom, ive updated it now anyway, well....sometimes

I've never had such issues. You may directly submit this BUG to Google which will pay attention to it if you explain your problem completely.

Dose anyone have a working copy of AOSP browser ? There are a lot of copy's running around but there all missing stuff . looking for a copy with working history button and working predictive text while on internet . please only link me if you personally have tried and no it works , I'm tired of downloading these broken versions .

its included in any aosp rom. im running rastakat, everything but flash works. android 4.4 killed flash off.

Ya I've been pulling them out of quite a few Roms and no luck ,
I haven't tried that ROM yet, I'll download it now and see . issue is I'm running stock based ROM so not all versions will work , even after doing the stand on one foot routine To get it installed . I'm running cyanogen version ATM and its missing the predictive text for some odd reason .

No Flash will never work on it ever agn google broke that permanently. I can but I'm at work so can't till later .

This is the APK I pulled from that ROM you suggested.
set permissions to rw-r-r as soon as I try to open it it just closes (yes I've rebooted).
Did I pull the wrong one?

you need more than the apk for the aosp browser to work. and if its the aosp browser from before android 4.4, it wont work on android 4.4.

The dude said it works (unless I am mistaken) and he posted in the Nexus 5 forum, meaning he is on 4.4
Are we not using the AOSP Browser from pre 4.4? I didn't think there WAS a 4.4 AOSP Browser...

The Rom is cm11 for the i727. Trying what you did on the n5 I get the same result, fc. It runs fine on cm11 on the i727

there is a 4.4 aosp browser, that comes with aosp. the 4.3 aosp browser doesnt work on 4.4, and the 4.4 aosp browser wont work on 4.3. and that guy said that hes using a skyrocket, not a nexus 5.

Yep it works Has predictive text in browser but I just realized its missing the history tab do u no what else u would u need to get it working correctly? I've never had this issue in the past

Hi,
Recently I tried installing the Cyanogenmod using 4 different versions. The first one by the installer given by the website and the next 3 using ClockWorkMod app with the last 3 snapshot versions starting from the 16 Sept one and moving downwards.
All installations failed to connect to WhatsApp when I am on mobile network even though I can still surf the internet on my web browser and access Play Store. Once I am connected back to wifi, the WhatsApp will be working again.
Anyone experiences this and have a solution?

Looks like the problem is with your network provider rather than the Rom itself ..
See if whatsapp works on other ROMs for you like purity or slim. I use lots of ROMs and have never had a problem with whatsapp

Thanks for your reply. However, when I install back the stock android, I am able to use my WhatsApp as per normal using LTE connection.
Hope this clarifies the situation.

but i've installed the latest build that i downloaded today.
the problem is i can not install apps from play store nor local apk's on the phone.
i tried to delete my google acount and set it again.
i also tried to clear the play store data and google services data and nothing helped.
what can i do to solve that?

Every thing worked great but am unable to install gapps, I get failure status 6, I can't install any apk.
I have cwm, tried flashing the minimal and full gapps linked in the main thread .both failed .
Am back to cm 11 sadly .
can someone tell me once and for all the CORRECT RECOVERY that can flash this rom without any error 7???
my S4 is GT-I9500 running Stock 4.4.2
I've tested bunch of Recoveries from Philz, to CWM To TWRP, none work, would app appreciate anyone giving me the right Recovery that can flash this rom.

Used TRWP 2.8.1.0 with full full wipes except internal SD and external SD with no issues
I appreciate the link. I couldn't find it on official TWRP Site. they does not seem to officially support GT-I9500.

Ok I got something weird that just started happening and wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue. My damn ringtone keeps going to SILENT for no reason that i can determine, very random. And very aggravating to say the least.

Android 8.0.0
Maybe I should ask if there is an app that detects what changes a ringtone...

I had this happen to me as well. I did a clean flash of my custom ROM (Bad Boyz for unlocked HTC U11) and the problem was solved. Clean flash, BTW, is wiping cache, dalvik, system and data prior to flashing the ROM.
