I'm having a brain fart about terms at the moment but this is what I suggest:
The "circle" button at the bottom center of every screen will bring up a dialog for widgets.
Navigate to each page you want to add icons/widgets to;
Long press the circle button on the page you wish to add widget;
this will bring up the catalog of icons/widgets;
drag the icon of choice to the screen you are on;
repeat until complete.
There are also a number of settings within Apex launcher to change the order and quantity of screens.

All I want is the ability to delete home screens. Its possible in the Galaxy Tab, but on the Nexus S no such luck. Why would Google FORCE having 5 home screens on us?
Is there any modded launcher.apk with just 1 or the ability to create and delete them?

Thread moved to Q&A.
You know everytime a new rom is flash (Super wiped) all the widgets, folders and apps I customized will all disappeared/gone/reseted and i will need to redo the customization all over again. Is there a apps or a way to backup this and restore each time after flashing a new rom.
Using ARHD sense 3.5
Thanks
Regards
As far as I know you can't backup the widgets and Folders.
But you can backup the apps (+Data). I use Titanium Backup Pro to Backup and restore my apps.
My Backup Pro will let you backup/restore the Sense launcher settings and your homescreens (as well as SMS/MMS, call logs, and your apps)

I tried this app but my home screens werent restored.
Could you expand where this setting is on the app?
EDIT just did it in titaniumBU! you need to restore the DESKTOP HTC SENSE XXXX.
For some reason it doesnt do it while doing a batch restore, the icons are all back (whoch saves a lot of time), the wallpaper and the widgets need to be readded.
Hi
I have problems with backup widget on apex launcher.
I made hubs on my TF101, means I have on screen: invisible icons, widgets from minimalist text and other (but invisible icon and minimalistic are the most important).
If I make backup in apex setting or in titanium backup (apex launcher) I only have invisible icons.
How to make full backup?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but you cannot backup and restore widgets in android.
Not unless the widget was installed through an apk, nope.
I'm using CM10 at my device, nightly 24/09, with Nemus Launcher.
Nightly 12/09 were working fine at wallpapers, but when I updated for 24/09 I no more could to use live wallpapers, there isn't option for such. I was using HD Ocean wallpaper, between others live wallpapers.
Nemus Launcher doesnt manage wallpapers, it leaves such a task charged to the OS. GO Launcher was heavy when I upgraded from Gingerbread for CM10 at my Motorola Defy+ (before 1GHz, now 1.2GHz). I dont tested whether GO Launcher is until heavy with last nightly, but I'm wanting a light launcher, however with folders organization at the drawer of apps and wallpaper management.
Any suggestion?
Nova launcher
hi
I've been using Nova Launcher (see market)
Haven't tried Apex yet.
There is premium version of Nova launcher which allows you to use gestures as well.
best of luck!
I read the description of Nova Launcher Prime, it says:
"Nova Launcher Prime unlocks the following features in Nova Launcher:
Drawer Groups:
Folders in App Drawer
Unlimited custom tabs
Organize apps into tabs and folders in the app drawer.
Gestures
....
Hide Apps
...
Dock Swipes
...
Therefore, only Nova Launcher Prime can satisfy the features I want, but I have pay for it. I will consider the changing for Nova Launcher.
Nightly ROM of 24/09 is drainning the battery. For the first time since bought my Defy+ the battery discharged fully, Im considering to regress for 12/09 ROM.
Thanks nserver!:good:

Nova > Apex..
Nova Launcher isn't able install live wallpapers over current ROM.
Neither Go Launcher is able. Live wallpaper option is unavailable on all launchers already tested with current ROM. So I tried set a live Go Wallpaper, then Go Launcher displayed a message saying my device doesn't support live wallpapers and what I should upgrade firmware.:crying:

Sad...
Just restored all my apps to a new phone using Titanium but the only drawback to that manoeuvre is all 150 apps are in the app drawer now and I need to drag each shortcut individually to the home screen. Is there a setting to tell Titanium to put shortcuts on the home screen?
Is there anyway now for me to bulk move apps from the app drawer to home screen?
There must be an app, an exposed or play store app that can do this, my phone is rooted - its a Galaxy Note 2 touch wiz 4.42.
For future reference is there anyway to backup my home screen folders and app shortcut setup when moving to a different phone/hardware?
No one?
Did a good search on play store but the only thing I could find was app drawer replacements
Is there any exposed app that can do this?
I have discovered a way using Nova launcher, install nova before restoring apps from titanium and in the settings tell nova to put a shortcut on the home page for newly installed apps. Then when titanium restores the apps a shortcut will be placed on the homescreen for each app, remember that is Novas homescreen not the vanilla launcher of your phone.
I use Nova now so all the homescreen app placements are restored with the app but maybe this may help someone.
