Hi!
Im new to CM on TF300.
What 10.1 do you recommend ?
1) Surdus AOKP
2) CM10.1 nightly
3) Jellybro
4) Baked blackbean
And can i install CM with TWRP ?
Is there something more what new CM user must know ?
Big thanks!
Yes you can install cm with twrp. But on your question is just depends on your choice. Jellybro has all the tweaks that you want to do I prefer cm because it gets updated pretty much daily

Tried Jellybro, but cant install, says "Error status 7". (TWRP 2.4.1.0; MD5 was fine)
Installed Surdus AOKP ver4, looks and feels awesome so far.

Hello, probably a simple question:
Yesterday i updated to [ROM][GT-P51XX][JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies.
And i saw that i can use Aokp kernel with it so i can set higher frequencies.
My question is: How do i do it?
Thanks in advance

Flash the kernel zip file from cwm same as you did the rom, it's often recommended to wipe the dalvik after, although I don't bother

The My android rom is by far the most stable and bug free of all 4.2.2.
id argue project orca is more bug free, and equally as smooth, with more features

I regularly use the cm10.1 and have no problems, only use the gapps unified. I've gone from EOS to cm and I feel good.

does it feel smoother?faster?
Im on EOS and its ok, its been faster before 4.2.2 but it does its job, just slow 3g /wifi reconnecting and USB mounting causes restart, which is annoying...

Same here 'My Android 4.2.2 umts_everest' is my fav after trying all mentioned. Have yet to try Orca, but not sure there is a everest 3g version ...
BlackBean 8 gets my vote :good:
I gave my aunt my Xoom with CM10.1 nightlies worked awesome for me! I had less issues with 10.1 nightlies than I did during the final 10.0 nightlies released for Xoom.

Aokp.stock features.
I prefer CM, I really don't need much more features then it provides.
Using Slim Bean by fusionjack for i9100 right now and loving it
I prefer CyanogenMod Roms because they are more functional
I prefer Aokp - it's better for tablets.
A comparison can be found here:

sTBooks serve
I prefer CM. Enough features and easy to use
CM too for me
I'd also prefer CM over AOKP.

This is pretty close to a "best ROM' thread. I left it open for a while, but it doesn't seem to be generating much useful discussion and is getting full of 1 word posts. So sorry, but thread closed.
So I`m thinking of making the change over to CM Mod nightlys.
So I have just been running stock 4.4.2 with xposed.
Thinking about just using CM mod nightlys (I read that the nightlys are sometimes more stable than the snapshots)
And things seem nice and quick just playing around but I need something That wont give to many problems How has CM been lately? Also how is OTA updates? are they reliable enough to not have to keep wiping each time theres an update?
Thanks
Also Does Xposed Modules work on CM roms?
And is there a recommended kernel besides using the stock CM One?
There are alot of great roms... Alot better than cm.

Just try it for a while, at the end of the day its just about preference. The CM rom itself is rockstable and the stock kernel performs very well and offers good batterylife.

What this guy said but to add, keep an open mind there are a lot of good ROM's out there. Purity and Mahdi come to mind. On my n4 I used carbon and couldn't wait to flash the next nightly but I got away from that.
I recommend Chaos Kernel since they went CAF or Elemental X has CAF version

T300T CM11.0 nightlies?
Is it just me, or are all of the CM11 nightlies gone?
Some of the CM12 nightlies as well. Are there any mirrors?
Anyone have any CM11 roms where the Cast Screen function actually works?

you're not alone, as posted in another thread i cant find cm11 nightly for tf300t anymore everywhere!
i need to downgrade to cm11 from a dirty install of one of the last cm12 nightly but i wonder how can i if official cyano repo doesnt work...
so, if anybody can put somewhere the cm-11-20150105-NIGHTLY-tf300t.zip i really appreciate it!
CM11.0 4.4.4 dead?
It looks like all of the nightlies are gone.
I'm looking for a KitKat rom that allows:
- overclocking
- a working 'cast screen' function
- stability!
Are there any? It doesn't look like Lollipop is ready yet for a daily driver.

Overclocking is generally a kernel feature; try grimlock, geass, katkernel, or _that kernels with any KK ROM for overclocking. I was running a KK PacROM which was quite stable prior to switching to LP. Try KatKiss for a great LP ROM. I don't use cast screen so I can't help with that.

I'm still fairly new to this and wasn't aware that you could install a ROM with a different kernel; I'm used to just flashing and taking whatever is in the package.
Is there a more comprehensive guide on how to do this exactly? I'm enjoying the speed boost from the Zombi ROM which uses Grimlock's kernel, but when the docking station is plugged in the touchscreen is all over the place, so this isn't going to work for me.
OMNIrom seems to be updated fairly regularly and the docking station did pretty well, but I was locked into a stock speed.

Just flash the kernel zip file from recovery, wipe cache/dalvik, then reboot. On LP you can skip the wipe cache/dalvic step.
Stable version?
Does anybody know when a stable version of CM 11 will be published? I'm still on CM 10 and a bit cautious with upgrading the tablet.

Forget CM11. KatKiss 5.1 is beautiful. I've got it running on my TF300T and a TF700 with a custom kernel.
It's faster than CM11. Try it - you won't regret it.

There's no official version for ME301T, so keep what you have, unless you find a version that's more up-to-date. The latest CM11 I can find for TF300T is 20150112.
