Hi guys
My phone's memory I do not know how got corrupted and now when I start my phone , it loads up till samsung and then it restarts and this cycle continues.
I am not in mood of spending money on it .
Can you please tell me that how to make my external sd card as a primary device and install a custom root on it.
My phone is not rooted.

Hi I have a experia x10i which was rooted and working fine . the problem is , without thinking I took the sd card out and used it on my P.C. then formatted it and put it back in the x10 , now it is in a boot loop , hope you guy's can help me .
X10_2_1_A_0_435_EW_JET_006x.arc is the rom installed .

Can you boot into it without the sd card? If so, then your card could be the wrong format and be throwing your device into loops. try formatting it FAT 16 and reinsert it. let me know if it works.

tried a new format on the sd card but still no joy , getting frustrated now .
willing to start from scratch if you can tell me how .

It could be the card itself. Do you have a spare sdcard that you can try on the device? If that doesn't work then it's time to look at the operating system on the device.

Hi Omnichron tried a different sd card . puzzled now . even one from a working HD Desire .
Hey guys, I'm from China and I'm trying to asking for help with my poor English.
when i switch on my samsung galaxy SL I9003 my phone gets hand on the screen where SAMSUNG is written.. i tried by restarting the mobile but its not working...
So, I tried to use Odin3 v1.81 to reflash my ROM. But unfortunately ,none of my ROMs work.
Now, I'm afraid ,maybe the internal sd card was broken. So I'm here to ask for help .
Is there any other situation maybe cause this kind of problem?
If this was internal sd card problem, is there any way to solve this problem without replace another sd card ?
Is it possible to make a ROM ,which starts with external sd card instead of internal sd card ? If yes, how ? I tried to look deep into the ROMs ,but only find some compiled files, no filesystem there ,so, it seems impossible for me to change this.

I cant access my sd card. I pulled the batery out and put it in afterwards, and after that, the phone doesnt recognize it.
Im running stock 4.0.4 version and when I go to storage, it says that SD Card is unavaible. I cant mount it or anything.
The sd card works, because the card worked when I've put in other Desire S (rooted, cm11).
I've read a lot on the Internet but most of the questions were for rooted devices.
Any tips? Should I put the phone in rooted desire s and backup files on sd and format it in fat32 and then put it back? Should it work?
Or what should I do? I dont wanna root the phone becuase I have 1 month warranty left. I just wanted to know is it possible to fix it without going in the store.

I would take out the card and power cycle the device (full reboot) then one the device has powered on insert the sdcard and see if the is detects it. When powering back on you can keep the battery pinched Into the device with your finger and you won't power off when you have the flap lifted up

Had the same problem 4 months ago, just disable fastboot option in settings. Should work.

ok. rooting is easy process. there are many methods on xda.
but you said you can not install any thing on you sd card?? internal or external??

I cant install any thing on external card all data goes to the phone card , Even if you move the apps by move to sd card option the data goes to phone memory !!
I had read about that and there is a fex for that by downloading app called sd fixer or some thing like that but this software need root access and that why i need to root my phone .
Any help please ?!!

Ok, if you want to force move apps to SD card or you want to move their data to sd card then you have to root your device,
I m not sure about which root method will be successful, but try kingo root, v root etc,
Or wait for some dev to make custom recovery for this device,.

i just got today clone s5 and the internal storage has only 1.30gb free and 32 sd card and i wanted to install big apps like injustice any way
1 sorry for my bad english
i rooted the phone using impactor
then i used "swap sd.apk" to make the sd card as the premary extrenal storage now i cant find external storage + sd card not working the camera wont takes pics and i can't send files from my computer to the phone
i've tested the sd card on my s3 and it works fine pls help

The app that you tried might not be supporting the s5 clone.
So i would recommend you to uninstall that app and then reboot your phone.
There is a change that your problem might be fixed.
did factory reset and didn't help
