Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and 802.11x WiFi issues - HTC One S

hi everyone,
Is anyone else having issuing connecting to 802.11x WiFi EAP WPA2 Enterprise with the 4.1.1 update?
My HTC One S running either Viper 2 or Team Black out RC1.5 can't connect to our Enterprise WiFi AP, which ICS had no issues. I can't do the official one as _BM_ hasn't released a version for it yet, but I've tried 2 customs ROMs and so far no go ...
Initially, I thought it was to do with the WiFi partition, but that is not the case. I have no issues connecting to WPA2 802.11n at home or anywhere else, but just to 802.11x.
I've read on various Android forums that this is an inherent issues with JB, but I just wanted to confirm if others are having issues specifically on the Ville.
thanks

Hi, if you just looked on the 2nd page of development, you would have found your answer. But here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151142
Just download and flash from recovery and boom! Wifi!

Believe me, I've searched and search long for this.
What you are pointing at is not the same problem. I don't have an issue connecting via WiFi in general.
My issue is specifically connecting to 802.11x with WPA PEAP-EAP which is apparently an inherent problem of JB.
Look here:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=34212
A patched version of the wpa_supplicant is required, which probably the only way to get it is to build it from source.

[Q] Miui rom

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post in the relevant forum so I am hoping someone could answer my question here. I installed the Miui rom a couple of weeks ago but the bluetooth connection wouldn't connect to my Parrot CK3200 car kit. It would find the phone but drop the connection. i know that it is not a problem with the car kit as all the other roms I have tried have been fine.
The actual rom I tried was the MIUI.us HTC Sensation 1.10.28 by scott951.
just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues with this.

I haven't tried bt on this phone yet but whenever bt acts up it's usually caused by different kernels. Are you using the kernel bundled with the rom or another like bricked or faux?
I was using the bundled kernel, would you be able to recomend/link to a kernel.
thanks.

Which ICS for MZ601?

I have a European 3G Xoom, which ICS version shall I flash, if I'd like to get some 4.0 fun? I know that 3G won't work, but I don't want to brick my Xoom, better ask before.

I have a US 3G XOOM that hasn't been upgraded to 4G and I flashed the 4G ROM which caused an issue with the radio staying awake non stop searching for a signal. This ate battery like crazy. The EOS dev suggested that I flash the WiFi version of the ROM and it worked like a charm. That is, of course, if you don't use your 3G and run WiFi only all the time like I do. Otherwise, you're out of luck for now until someone cooks up a ROM specifically for 3G devices. Also, you need to make sure it would even work for non US XOOMs first, obviously.
I'm not sure if the devs even read this section, but if you don't get an answer from one here, you should PM them or ask in one of their threads. They've been very helpful to me and answered every question I needed help with. I hope you get it worked out. It's an excellent ROM.
Thanks, I was thinking about trying the wifi version. But I better ask before. I had some bad luck recently flashing 4.0 on my Nexus S. So I prefer asking before doing.
I have been running the EOS wingray rom and so far everything is stable and working except the faceunlock and silly faces effect. Check it out.
this Rom is realy good but you need fastboot to install it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1443220
and you have to use a alternate recovery.img,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074979
zip the universal xoom root
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242241
and zip the G-Apps (if you want to use the Market and other Google Apps)

It runs on my 601 like Hell
I flashed ICS (WiFi only) on my MZ601. While all run wells, I am unable to go back to Honeycomb. My tablet model (in About Tablet) is now Xoom instead of MZ601. Unable to flash the system.img file using Fastboot.
So in case you'd like to go back to Honeycomb to collect an OTA update to ICS, it might be an issue.
It has arrived ... work VERY well.

Running the ICS build but can't seem to play any videos correctly....
The rom from Team EOS ins great, i flashed it yesterday as well and it is really fast...

This has been brought up in the ICS thread on the developer forum. It seems to be a known issue and they are working on trying to get it working, at least as far as I understand it.

[Completed] Wifi can't automatically connect if the screen is off [i9505]

My s4 i9505 can't connect to a saved wifi hotspot when the screen is off. If the phone is suspended and i walk into a known wifi area it doesn't connect automatically, but only when i wake up it. wifi policy is set correctly and i have this issue only with lollipop aosp based rom (cyanogen, gpe,...). it works fine only with tw rom. i've tried 4.4 and older aosp rom and i haven't any issue. i tried different kernels and it seems the problem is no related to kernel but only to the lollipop aosp roms.
Other users had this problem but none of them solved the problem.
sorry for my bad english, anyway i hope you understand the problem.
