adb is the server where your device connect when you develop from your desktop.
you can read logs in real time with it, get some screenshots, send your apk to test it, debug..... ect.
You have a good gui to use it on eclipse, or use it with command line is possible.

Android Debug Bridge

First of all, you need to know what "SEARCH" is!
Cuz that answers most of your questions.!

[Q] new forums for HTC Butterfly

hi
I am wondering what is involved in getting a new forum setup, all I can find is the HTC DROID DNA and it is not the same phone and as such the instructions for installing recovery images doesn't work. (I worked that out the hard way).
Sorry if this is already covered somewhere else and I am just being impatient.
I'm sure it will be created soon.
You might ask for it here

[Q] Question to the developper of the Zero Bug ROM

Hi to all,
Obviously, as a newbie, i can not post in developers treat,
So all i can do, to have an answer to my question, is to post it here.
Question:
Would it be possible to integrate PDroid/Opendroid into the Zero Bug ROM?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012195
I really like to be able to use PDroid 2.0 application.
Hopefully, will i have a response with this post. :fingers-crossed:
You could just PM the dev. The chances of dev of that ROM coming over here to have a look at this is very thin.

[Q] Htc sensation freezes and hangs after upgradung from GB to ICS 4.0.3

HI,i am new to this forum ,i bought my sensation xl phone from australia ,when i took it to india (where i am living now) ,i got it's "network sim unlock pin" done but the screen got cracked. After getting screen fixed ,my phone was hanging a bit so i updated it through "software updates section" but the phone is freezing and hanging A LOT.
I have tried factory restore settings, restarting etc,but nothing helped,
Please guide me what could i do to make my phone work .i am not able to use this phone as an android one.
My details are :
ANDROID VERSION - 4.0.3
HTC SENSE VERSION - 3.6
SOFTWARE NUMBER - 2.29.862.1
KERNEL VERSION - 3.0.16-g6f94259
ICS is the laggiest thing I have ever used.
If you are rooted, try removing the bloatware and also monitor apps running in the background. You could try greenify app for hibernating such apps.
Or try some custom ROM of 4.1 or 4.2.
Custom ROMs are usually debloated and speedy. You could try em. And make sure it's for your phone only and follow exactly What the OP wants you to do.

my phone is not rooted ,if this is required please tell me.Someone told me that if i downgrade it to GB it might sort the problem ,what do u say ? if yes the n kindly discuss the procedure.
I request you again kindly mention the step by step procedure in detail so that i can fix my phone and not the other way around.
Thanks in advance , i would really appreciate your help.
It's sensation xl right?
Have a look at this thread
And ask your questions regarding the phone
here
There is a dedicated forum for sensation xl and you could have a look at the Dev section and try many ROMs available for your phone.
Don't ask questions in Dev forums. Use the thread I linked to above for that.

my atrix 2 Stock on paranoid android screen !!??
i just install Atrix2Bootstrap.apk
and did the two steps on the app
what i can do to restore my android system working ??
Were you on PA and installed bootstrapper?
That's one of the things you should never do. It's clearly stated in the PA OP that you shouldn't install any other recovery over this ( and even CM).
They already have a built in recovery.
You should fxz back to stock ICS now.
Download the correct file according to the region where you brought the phone from.
If you aren't sure, ask in the thread quoting your phone details.
For international versions.
