[dev][q] Replace modem.bin?

Hey all... can we take our modem file(s) and work them into another rom? I know there are alot of similarities with our phone and others...just trying to port over a rom today. Any help would be gladly appreciated!!!

Hello, i was wondering if anyone could help me locate a stock verizon boot animation. I've googled it and no go... any help would be appreciated! Also, sorry if this is in the wrong area!

Download the stock rom for your device and pull the bootanimation from there? I can't think of much else you can try...

hey guys... need a little help here... iv tried a lot to turn off the animation... i know a lot of people are also facing the same problem.. i asked camcory about it but he didn't feel it was important to answer it (no hard feelings)... so does anyone know how to turn them off

Hmm what about disabling screen animations?

after turning off windows animation there is a separate animation.. The one with the stripes

Can I delete widgetd

Hey there I recently rooted my gs3 and was wondering if I can delete all the widgets as I do not use any of them..
1 more thing.. can anyone tell me the best site to find new roms as this is the 1st time I have rooted and I am looking for a good rom but dont know were to look
