Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me out.
I have used the droid Razr Hd utility to downgrade to ics so that i can obtain root and then upgrade back to JB. FAIL
Managed to get onto ICS and root and do the minor upgrade, but getting to JB seem to be an issue.
First the 926 tried to update via OTA and this failed on installation, I then tried the unofficial method and also get failed message on install, process starts but fails!
Any help please
Cheers TG
This is what i get
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/bin/logwrapper", "23d23abf573e784bfe692fedf631ad1faa3179e", "4a63fec78956def045b442910a754fa640db8f5a")

Hi guys,
I'm having serious trouble updating my Nexus S (GSM) from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4.
After almost a week waiting for the 4.0.4 OTA, it arrived when installing it the phone got stuck on the red rectangle and after a while i got this error:
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
Installing update...
file_getprop: faild to stat: "/system/build.prop
": No suck file or directory
E:Error in /cache/hR7QFEtn.zip

Installation aborted
Also i'm having some "google logo stuck on restart" problem which i'm not sure is relevant.
Help would be very much appreciated.
use CWM instead of stock recovery, and flash OTA zip from this:

doesn't need to be rooted to use CWM...

if it's an official update and you're running stock, you must run a stock recovery to update

Trying to install a new rom (cm-12-20150113-unofficial-n8013.zip) But I get this message:

I can assure you, my tablet is the n8013... Why am I having this error? How can I fix it? This error also occurred while trying to install the BlissPop rom as well... I don't understand WHAT I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Kris.
Make sure you're using the latest custom recovery. Try redownloading the ROM.
I also get a STATUS7 trying to flash CM12.1 with CWM 6.0.1.1
I have yet to try TWRP but I need a TAR.MD5 packaged image, which I'm having trouble finding.
I'd run into this problem as well, and it actually has to do with your version of TWRP (at least to my knowledge). I was actually trying to flash a custom rom, knowing fully well that my device was GT-N013, when it gave me the error. Turns out, I flashed the recovery for the Gt-N8000 model.
As far as I know, GT-N8013 and p4notewifi are the same device, but considering your error said that "this device is p4noterf," flash the latest version of TWRP for either GT-N8013 or p4notewifi (specifically). Then try reflashing the ROM.
