[Q] The Simpsons Tapped Out server problem - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys,
I have connection problems with the gane "The Simpsons Tapped Out" (Android)
I downloaded the game 2 days ago and everything worked fine. However, yesterday i tried to start the game when suddenly it said cannot connect to server, so i tried again and again. After several attemps of reconnecting:
i turned of my internet and turned it on again... didnt work
So i reinstalled the game.... and suddenly i could connect and play the game for 10 seconds, then i crashed to the "cannot connect to server" screan again.. so reinstalling dindt work
Then i tried to download the game in diffrent languages... dindt work
I also asked a friend of mine if he can download the game and play it ... yes he was able to play the game
So my question is .. has someone the same problem like me? Or is there enyone who can help me with my problem?
Would it be possible that im banned?
Im very clueless please help me
PS: i have a Samsung Galaxy S3

A friend of mine used "gamecih" to cheat some money at my game... is it possible that i'm banned ?

Yep... just did the same.
I got myself billions of coins a few days ago and that was fine.
BUT I just tried to cheat myself dohnuts (which you need to pay for in game) doing this has got me blacklisted it seems.

yeah then we are banned .. probably
if someone knows how to get "unbanned" please tell us

Id say we are most likely suspended. Wait 24hours and if it still don't work then email them asking why you cant connect.
Deny all knowledge of what you have done.
From what I can tell the game is connected to your google account (it is blocked on all my devices which use the same account)

i dont think its connected with my google account because i made a new one and it still doesn't work. Maybe they banned my IMEI.. then i'd need a new phone

me too

i have same problem after using gamecih... sucks
what can we do to undo this

Same problem
I have the same problem. I have tried reinstalling and I also get to login for 10sec, and suddenly get the error message. I wish the would at least let you restart from scratch.

I recently did a full wipe on my phone and cleaned out everything, and I mean literally everything. I backed up my personal folders on from my internal storage to my PC and did a full factory reset on my phone and formatted the internal USB storage at the same time! Then reflashed my ROM and copied over my backed up files again.
After doing so, I reinstalled the simpsons game and found that it had reset my progress and I had to start from scratch again. Strange, considering I always thought the game saved to the server.
So if you guys are in that much need of restarting you could try something similar.

[Q] Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server.

Not solved. Apparently I needed to use a VPN to connect my account though Talk. But now when my VPN isn't on nothing will sync and my gmail won't load. Until today I have never needed a VPN to log into my Google account. Something is obviously still wrong.
So I've flashed dozens of ROM's at this point and have never had this problem before. I have read all the threads and tried the following fixes ...
Pulled SIM and used WIFI
Factory reset
You Tube account ... This actually registers my Google info under accounts but won't sync at all. When I try to sync contacts or anything I get a red exclamation point and nothing happens.
Flashed other ROM's and different gapps.
Tried logging in though other gapps such as Talk and Gmail. Again YouTube will show up on my account tab as synced. It's green and looks synced but if I try to manually sync it the red error shows up again and nothing has actually been synced.
There must be a reason for this yes?
I should also mention that I'm in Shanghai. However I have never had a problem before. What gives? Why now? Could it really be that the server is down and I should just try again tomorrow?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yeah... i've been having a similar problem in xiamen for about 3 days... china unicom?
Oh? And also never had this happen before? Happened after you flashed a new ROM?
I'm with CMCC.
What makes me think something is rotten is Chinatown is the fact that if I do use my VPN everything is OK. I'm hoping this isn't the case.
I'm searching for some old TB files I can toss on my phone to try and restore it to an earlier date. If that doesn't work maybe a super crusty old ROM will work. I really am out of ideas at this point.
I wonder if getting rid of root and going stock would fix anything?
Error Message
I have also same problem for past 3 days on China Mobile in Shanghai. I belive it should be something to do with the carrier or Network accessibility to Google products... I am on Galaxy S2.
Today I checked on couple of my friends with Nexus and Galaxy S1 and confirmed that they also face same problem...
Currently the only Google app that's working is Google Translate ... The rest however won't work without my VPN on.
So it looks like this is both CMCC and Unicom so far. I don't even know if there is anything else.
The funny thing is Google + has been working on my phone from launch with no problems. Not anymore though.
Anyway there are so many places selling Android devices in China I could only imagine that this is temporary.
I wonder if there is any way to edit some of the carrier info to make things work?
Apparently there is something going on, it looks like.
It looks like it's happened before, and after about 3-4 days it sets itself aright...
Anyone figure out a workaround? I was using a pretty good VPN, but the android version only has pptp and therefore barely works here. I can't get any programs, email, or anything on my phone after a factory reset... this makes me sad.
*had some links posted but I guess I need to post a few more times before it lets me*
Anyone figure out any updates or fixes for this yet?
It's been like that for several days now...I'm with CMCC. After sometimes it'll be okay as usual....black "magic" I would call it.
VPN is a no no for me, used to work fine till they block it. I'm using SSH Tunnel now...no problem in general except from time to time (once in a very blue moon like now) when "they" cast their "magic"
Without tunneling. market couldn't get through these days.
How annoying. I even tried taking out my SIM card, and doing a hard reset, and then trying to download my software from my WIFI, but it's not a DDWRT router so I can't access the VPN.
Is there software that can turn an OpenVPN connected computer into a Wifi router? If I logged into my computer which is on a VPN, maybe I could at least re-download all my apps from the market......
*sigh* or wait heh
I got the same problem like last 5 days ...i m in China too ..with china unicom ...i tried everything possible like factory reset, uninsalling and installing gapps, install stock image , cache cleaning ....BUT ...CAN'T LOGIC GOOGLE ....
at last i used VPN on my phone ..and its sync and connect in a second ...problem gone...Happy to have my fully functional phone back
MAGIC Happened again
Just trying to log into the market .. yes now we can access the market and other google products..

Constant 927 error in play store

Hey guys..I know the 927 error happens randomly, but literally everytime I go into the playstore after flashing a rom
A) it doesn't load any of my apps, either currently on the device, or any of my downloaded apps under "all"
and
B) when I attempt to download ANYTHING it hangs for about 20 seconds and then gives the 927 error.
And it's not ROM-specific...it's happened across three of four different roms. Do you guys have any advice? I've tried the force stop, clear data trick, and the clear data from download manager trick. I'm getting annoyed haha. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am in the same boat, I've searched everywhere for the answer but nothing works.
this sucks man i get the same thing and no fix it looks like
Did you try clearing data of Google Play Services, too, and removing and re-adding your Google account?

I have seen this support thread before, in most cases you must do a factory reset. It was a couple weeks ago look around the forum, there are some fixes but it did not help this guy and a factory reset is the only option.

Samsung s6 games installed after reset

Since my other thread didn't any answer I want to give another try before confirming that the community is dead.
JK
I noticed that everytime I reset my phone it automatically installed a couple of games, and this time pandora app also. The weird thing is I went through the phone initial setup without sign in google play store or samsung.
It is kind of bother me somewhat.
Does anyone know how they get installed ?

I believe it is caused by BY Ignite, since I've deleted it I don't get any game installs upon factory reset.
How do you delete ignite when it is automatically install as part of the factory reset?
Do you mean right after factory reset ?
I've had to factory reset a few times for different reasons. I'm rooted and deleted BT Ignite as soon as I did and deleted all games, and after factory reset no new games or apps were installed. If you're rooted delete it or rename it so it can't run. If not rooted you can disable it With a few different apps.

Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.

Question cant connect google account to watch ( couldn't copy your google account error) FIXED !!!!!

so after 6mounth using this watch suddenly watch disappeared from wearable app and it wouldn't connect again always stuck on 80% or 90% of the process i searched many people faced this issue and had to reset the watch to connect it again and i'm using it on huawei phone (as before i was using) so wearable wont let you connect and you need to force it by samsung and now that i'm connected i cant signing my google account to my watch to restore my apps and watch faces now this google signing problem is there for all wearos users and many people face this problem i tried resetting the phone and watch several times using different google accounts and even tried to do this in a samsung device still the same result any one have any experience or idea about this? me and many others cant use their watches
FIXED!!!
UPDATE : After search for a long time and couple of factory resets and every single way that ppl said it fixed it for them it didnt worked for me until i saw someone had the same problem like me and only connecting to a Canada vpn fixed it for it sounded too random but i tried and it worked so if you have the same problem and other ways dont fix it try this first connect to a canada vpn then start copy account from wearable app on phone
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra but ran into this issue when I first bought my Galaxy Watch4 Classic. What I ended up having to do is delete the Google account from my phone all together. Then setup the watch. Once I got the watch setup on the Galaxy Wear app, I reloaded my Google account on the phone, and all worked fine.

i tried almost all the ways that fixed some people problems like redoing multiple times disabling screen locks turning wifi off clearing data and caches removing g accounts almost everything out there but still there is too many people with the issue remaining idk why they make it so hard to do this when i could just put in my gmail and password in my watch simply
bhello same problem for 3 days, it annoys me crazy!!! I so regret having bought it, autonomy level is zero and now this bug with Google Frankly is too much
Hello. I had the same problem. After googling for longe time i found out it was a dns related issue.
Link (unfortunately only in german)
Long story short, as i could not figure out how to set up my router, i got it running by simply using mobile data instead of WIFI.
EDIT: I am not sure if i disabled "Private DNS" setting in Android as well
tu Still no response from Samsung? Does anyone know how to fix the problem? Me, I've tried all of them and I'm at the end of it

yes still no luck. i noticed after many reset factories my watch still connects to my wifi ap without required password and most of the people who cant solve this problem are using android 9 even on samsung s8 and s9 series
oh yes exactly, very strange the fact that the watch automatically reconnects itself to the wifi and that without any passwords and all that without any restoration!!
JI really hate against Samsung, because no solution is offered anyway went crazy. As usual, the customers remain in a dead end without any help from the manufacturer.

its either the watch is not wiping the data completely and the issue still remains or they are aware of this problem and cant solve it and even worse they wanna force ppl to upgrade their phones cuz all the new devices can fix the issue but the older devices running android 9 cant fix this and i searched lots of posts on samsung and google forums no official staff answering to the ppl only other ppl trying to help out. i mean why you should need to copy google account from the phone? why not just log into it with your freakin watch
It's not just Android 9. My OnePlus 10 Pro can't sign in. The Samsung sign in send you to a web browser to press continue to sign and just puts you in a death loop of continue button until failure. If you skip this part it fails to log in to Google account and then the wearable app has a bleeping seizure. I've tried resetting the device, restarting both phone and watch, wiping data from app uninstalling and reinstalling all needed apps and plugins.... I think this is a server side issue from Samsung bc when I go to Samsung website after creating my account I'm unable to to link my Google acct just a non functional set up button on the screen... At least my OnePlus watch can tell time this is just a useless wearable until patch is released
