hello guys my wifi doesn't work i saw some posts and they said it is the kernal problem and u most change ur kernal
let me explain my problem better : i installed vipers 1.2.1 and it was great the only problem is wifi which i can not turn it on
some guys told me wipe cach+dalvik . then i wiped it and it fixed. wifi found my modem and i connected to internet.
but after rebooting my device while wifi was on, i still can't connect to my modem.
wifi is always on and i can't turn it off. it founded my modem but it always shows not it range.
what should i do now/? is it about the kernal ?? how should i find a good kernal ? should i download it then install it like a new rom?
i couldn't find any solution about fixing wifi problem in this beautiful vipers 1.2.1 rom

Hi I use viper and the kernel I use is Sebastian. I have no problems at all with WiFi. I suggest a fresh installation of viper, with a new download incase the old one is compromised. Do full wipe, cash, dalvik , wipe data factory reset, then install Rom. Then if you wish to install sebastian ( it's a great kernel for battery life too) install like you would a Rom. You should not have any trouble with WiFi then. If problem still is happening after that, l would post on the viper development because someone else might have same issue or know of a fix. Yup my wifi 3g gps is working correctly. Ram is 512. Not laggy so far running 4.1.1 jellybean.
Camera is not as good compare to my iPhone 5.
And the battery last 2-3 days in standby ?

BTW I have risk my phone and root it but I have succeeded. I will show the steps later in 1st post later

Mayne because it's generic. And dont have a compass built in. Gps isn't so good

Thanks, but here's another question...
Normally when you want to do go to CWM you have to hold the volume + and the power button,
if i do that my phone just turns off, don't know how to install the CWM, tried allot of different
threads but nothing seems to work for me.

Although GPS is really **** at this phone
You will not find right rom. I had found one in chinese forum, but screen didn't work right. I sent it back to shop for refund
I found a semi-custom rom in the italian forum but gps isn't working any better.

Since I flash this new rom the wifi and bleutooth don't work.
When I start wifi i have this message "current activation" and after 30min still nothing.
For the bleutooth, when I enabled, it disables directly

I'd recomend getting a new rom unless you're a programmer.
I flash different rom but I have always the problem.

I have a weird case, for a some days I have had a problem with charging of my phone, it can be only charged when it is powered off. I flushed my phone but id didn't help.
Does anybody has any advice, what should I do ? Change usb interface, some fuses,anything ?

Are you on a custom ROM? I had a similar problem and found that it was the ROM causing the issue. I would try reflashing or go to a different ROM all together. Hope that helps.

Thanks, but I reflashed ROM yesterday, now i have different custom ROM and it's the same
The ROM is used by many people and i believe that it isn't a cause.

Ihave wifi connection problem with all custom Roms . It's work fine with s2 official rom
It's says "saved" but It's not connecting .. the problem is fixed when reboot the device

I had that problem too a couple of times. Although I was using an old version of CM12.1 after upgrading to the latest nightly version I'm yet to experience that particular issue.
I have the same problem for now with all custom roms . except stock rom and sazy rom . really i don't know what to do ?

How to reset modem?
The wifi (internet)modem. Power off and on
I just reset the internet router .4 hours . no problem yet .
