I gave Vengeance to Xraptor, he's a pretty busy guy so I think that the release consistency of Vengeance will probably slow down. This one will most likely get releases as often as it did, though

I've been running Lean Kernel 1.8 lately and it's been running pretty good
Hey Edge it's running great so far!
Which kernel/governor/scheduler do you recommend for best battery? I want minimal drain.

Hmm.... That's a pretty hard question because kernels work differently for everyone's device.
My Settings
Lean Kernel 1.8
InteractiveX Governor
Row Scheduler
384MHz min
1620MHz max
384MHz Max when the screen is off
BUT I always had really good battery life on Faux too. You're just gonna have to try out the kernels and find which one is best for your phone don't forget about undervolting, that saves battery as well.

FAT FREE & REDUCED FAT
HUGE THANKS TO stormglove FOR THESE AND THIS POST
All right, for those of you looking to slim down a bit, here’s a Reduced Fat and Fat Free version from stormglove and the rest of ERA. Both versions are stripped of all extra apps normally included in the ERA ReVolted ROM, except for spare parts, script manager (for the supercharged scripts), and basic stock apps (calc, cal, etc..). These Versions of the ReVolted ROM are meant to be used with your backups as they are the bare minimums for a ROM.
With the reduced fat version you will still have the ability to stay connected and sync all your social media, email, calendars, as well as use all voice capabilities.
Fat Free Version, I believe is the slimmest ROM available (around 60 mb internal storage after flash). All the extra junk such as voice search, event syncing, etc… is taken out. This version is meant to allow only basic phone functions and apps to work . GPS still works just none of the other fancy stuff. There is also only one ringtone, notification, and alarm sound. For those of you that this may scare away look at alarm clock xtreme, ringdroid, and ringo lite on the market. All these programs allow you to use music on your phone to make/use as your sounds for ringers, notifications, etc…
These versions are meant for those of us who have our own apps for everything and are tired of having to go in and delete half of a ROM, then put our own stuff back on, for whatever reason it may be, better battery, personal preference, etc… Please enjoy and let us know if there are any issues that we might be able to help with or fix.
UNLESS you want to download from the market HAVE A BACKUP OF APPS BEFORE HAND THERE IS VERY VERY FEW APPS with these versions of ReVolt

Just a quick question as i'm new to the Epic .. i flashed and am currently running your Epicurean Rom .. i see that that rom as well as this rom both had custom icons in the launcher. Is that something cooked into the rom or am i supposed to supplement those?

Alien ROM provides a concocted stew of TouchWiz, and Gingerbread for your Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Samsung's TouchWiz functionality stays intact, but the Alien theme brings a slight hint of traditional Gingerbread to the party. There are very few theme changes with this ROM.Official Beta Tester signature:

It's not working when I install! I'm receiving force closes, sitting at bootloops, etc.
Make sure you're installing the ROM correctly. Remember that kernels, MODs, radios, and carriers can mess with your phone's performance and workability.
Ahh! I'm having trouble receiving MMS messages.
This may be caused by the removal of Carrier IQ. I'm working on a version without the Carrier IQ removal.
I'm not on AT&T and this ROM is completely broken!
This ROM is not necessarily designed for international compatibility. Please wait for future updates or attempt an install with a proper international kernel.
Why is my device running/booting slowly?
Your first boot will take an unimaginably long time. After that, your device will continue to run slowly until the application cache is built up. Don't worry, the speed will increase as you use the ROM!
Why is my battery life bad?
Your battery life is often killed when flashing ROMs in CWM. For the best battery life, you must drain your device’s battery until it turns off. Plug the device into the AC adapter and let it charge till the image says 100% charged. Then turn it on and use the volume buttons to boot into CWM. Click Wipe Battery Stats under the advanced menu. Then you should charge to 100% and install the ROM. Battery life should be comparable to (if not better than) every other ROM.
Where's my bloatware?
Alien deletes unnecessary bloatware that can be replaced by better applications in the Android Market. If you'd like the bloatware back, you can download the "bloatware.zip" from the download website.
First. Awesome thanks

Initial Release!
"V2" Because I have spent many hours on this. I was already up to Release Candidate 20, and this is sort of the second version of Super Charged Wiz, so why not just make it V2!
I am not responsible if this ROM or any tweaks associated with it brick your phone, cause your dog to run away, kidnap your family, start thermonuclear war, etc! This will void your warranty, use this at your own risk!
WasabiWa83 for his custom theme!
PureMotive (for sooo much. Without him, this wouldn't be possible)
Velis74 for his auto brightness
ThilinaC for his beautiful boot animation
Synergy (for double tap for google now), Beanstown106, and Scrosler for their help
If I missed you, PM me!

About that... I got permission from the developer of Elegant theme to use his theme in the rom.
The link is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080046
I'm just working on making a working port for this theme, as it is originally designed for the international version of our phone
Sounds like it'll be nice to use a rom that I don't have to go in a delete all that Verizon crap no one really uses. Downloading now. Thanks!

I'm happy to read this Rom will be supported for at least 1 year. Especially this being your main device, I know the development will keep improving on this Rom. I wished we had more developers like this. Thank you Edgehood

Thanks man. I honestly got kind of sick of developers not responding to comments, and roms just sitting there FOREVER without an update or fix. So, I decided to change that I'll support this as long as I have this phone, and when I upgrade in a year and a half, I plan to do the same with my next device
Rom is really good. Scored 5929 on quadrant.
Requests: volume control skip (if its possible in jb yet lol) 4.2 keyboard, add the tw clock back and remove xda or make it uninstallable. Same with play movies &tv.
Just my 2 cents but otherwise rom is good!
Keep up the good work!

Volume control skip and 4.2 keyboard are being working on as we speak! If you want the 4.2 keyboard now, you can go download Jellybean Keyboard from the Play Store Do you mean the AccuWeather clock? I took it out because it seemed to make the widgets side of the app drawer laggy. If many people want it back, I have no problem doing so the google play movies and tv and the xda app will be removed in the next build
Thanks for trying out my rom, it means a lot.

Works best if once you get your apps installed you reboot (wiping Dalvik doesnt hurt) before you really start using it as there are quite a few processes that are run at boot

Being this was previously a Nexus only ROM we had to sprinkle some CM and AOKP elements to make it work for us.

Bump. Any thoughts on this? Also, is it possible to customize the navbar buttons? It would be nice to have the stock appearance with Google's back, home and recents icons rather than Moto's. These are just minor things in an overall awesome ROM. Thanks in advance for any info!
I have experienced a lot of FC's and screen flickering. I am using the latest KTOONEZ 5/29 kernel with this build
Just a quick question. The OP says that Bluetooth MAP is functioning on this ROM. Is that still the case? Seems that there has been some difficulty with MAP since google borked up bluetooth with 4.2.2. I've yet to find a non-TW ROM that properly supports MAP I have a Ford and when MAP works properly the system will actually read my text messages to me. It's not a critical feature but it is quite convenient. Any info offered would be great.
Thanks,
Ray
A thank you first to...

::::::::::::::::::::CORE::::::::::::::::::::
Core does not provide an Aroma installer filled with a billion options to choose from. However, it does include options you won't find in any other rom. Core has been built on a strong base that provides exceptional speed and stability while maintaining battery life. **This rom requires the use of a custom kernel allowing access to the frame buffer for it's speed and other options.**
The Core control app will give you easy access to adjustments you never touched before and will provide you with visually stunning graphics/picture quality never before seen on a GS3. This app will be updated when time allows for new options like a battery saver mode and whatever the f*** else you or I can think of.
Theming has been provided by XDA experienced themers mikedavis120, Blacknight1114 and Gunthermic. I am one person and don't have a team so they were nice enough to allow me to use there work in my rom and I think you'll like it. Those guys do some freakin awesome work.
SO WHAT DO YOU GET IN CORE
- Smoothness.
- Speed.
- Stability.
- Lean Kernel with GPU OC. No need to lkconfig. Capable of the Faux sound mod and grayscale settings.
- Blacknight1114's Domination theme.
- Gunthermic themed apps.
- Mikedavis120 themed apps.
- Deodexed system
- High bitrate Bluetooth call quality. Clear voice reproduction on both ends at 128kbps.
- Quicker Bluetooth connectivity.
- Android 4.2 keyboard. Upgradable to the Google keyboard currently on the play store.
- Black and White Lidroid toggles.
- My CORE rom management app. Allows choice of 4xMSAA, 2XMSAA and performance modes. Performance is pre loaded. The list of options in this app has become more extensive and will continue to grow.
You won't find it's options in any other rom period.
- Forced H.W rendering.
- My full HWUI settings for better screen quality and rom smoothness.
- Lightly debloated.
- Modified UI sounds.
- Modified power down sounds.
- 4 point power menu.
- Hold menu to kill
- Removed wifi notifications.
- 360 rotations
- Extensive build.prop settings written from the ground up.
- Increased touch sensitivity.
- Maxed out sms/mms settings
- extensive init.d scripting.
CORE v2.2 MF1 ODEXED(depreciated) post starts here!

-ISSUES & BUGS-
Please let me know
PLEASE READ!!
****If you run into reboots or other weird crap check your kernel settings. The base rom does not have these issues.
If you decide to choose a different kernel other than the one provided don't expect the Core rom control app to overclock your GPU.
Use this ROM at your own risk.
Always do a backup before a flash!****
Updating a themed app will cause you to loose that apps theme!
