I personally like the gstrings guitar tuner found on Googleplay as it is free and pretty accurate. Sometimes I like to try touch screen implemented versions of instruments like the accordion

how do you use the gstring apps? did you use the phone mic on the guitar or you have to plug in your guitar to your phone?

The app will use the mic of the device as the input for tuner.......I wish I had a way to plug the guitar into the device
The app functions just like any "real" guitar tuner

Hello. I'm sure a lot of you know that I am an app developer. I have a lot of passion for Kindle fire development and I want to help by creating an app that is useful for Kindle fire users...but what. I just don't know what I should make. I need ideas. What do you want to make your experience better on the Kindle? Anyone? Any CRAZY or BOLD ideas are appreciated.
Help me build the launcher that everyone wants. I have the idea, the Photoshop, but very little coding experience. :good:
Volume widgets would be nice. Like + - and a slider.

Theme creator app for CM9?
how about something to do with tethering or otg, as these things are always funny to set up.

Thats a good idea. I have an idea for this but it wouldnt use the theme chooser app but it would be a create-your own mod type of thing. It would be a long project but i could do it.any other ideas?

I might could help you on this. Your launcher idea looks great. The thing is that i still haven't done much open GL yet. In fact i couldnt make a simple shape in openGL because it keeps force closing but once i get better i can hit you up.

Well, whoever wants to help (including you) may do so. I refuse to make it a paid app though, because that's just wrong considering it's based on Amazon's work. Heh.
I'd gladly give back by helping with whatever apps people are creating since I KNOW Android developers lack in that department for the most part. :silly:

I used free gtunes app, download free music
I'll suggest PowerAmp as a solid music app.
As for your second question, we here at xda do not condone pirating paid apps. I am under the impression that specific app does just that so you won't find anything except a ban.

+1
Here at XDA asking such questions about "sourcing" protected content for free is a no no.
And +1 for PowerAmp, solid performance on the SGSIII.
My apologies guys now I know. Thanks for the input on Gtunes I will give it a shot.

Ok so from what I've gathered, I Love Katamari is a Samsung exclusive, kind of like how Super Street Fighter 4 HD is an LG exclusive.
It looks like some people got the 'demo' version to work on their phone but it's set on a time limit.
Also I downloaded a Japanese version, not sure if it's the full version or not because I can not read it.
So here are my questions, is there a way to remove the time limit for the demo version? Does anyone have a full English version? And would there be anyway to translate the in game text?
The Katamari series are amazing games, it would be amazing if we could get it on our phones - any help would be appreciated.
(I can supply you with the Japanese version if for some reason you want/need it.)
*edit*
Woops, wrong thread
IS this what you mean?

Just found this..... hope this helps. There is a link for a downlaod of the APK and a modded build.prop (be very careful with that build.prop, it could screw up your phone)

Edit: Here is the same file from that thread above, I just attached it. You should still look into that link though could be beneficial.

The game runs perfect except the controls are very dificult to handle(this game use only phone sensor) Ex: To katamary go forward I need to "sink" my experia front to down and this way I can't see whats happening in game lol

I must also respectfully request a PM. I just finished Me and My Katamari, and I'm itching to play more of the games, and since I always have my tablet and phone, it'd be perfect to put on those.

It depends what kind of music-making app you're looking for.
If you want score notation, Ensemble Composer Pro
Pocketbeats/FL Studio have Android versions as well if you're looking to make music without the notation
There are a few things here and there. What kind of music-making are you looking for?

Thanks for the reply. At the moment, I am not sure what kind I am looking for. I am trying to get an idea of what's available but most likely an app that adds music notation is what I need.
Avoid anything requiring real time input as latency on Android is horrific. So my honest advice is to buy an iPad if you want to create on a tablet. Better yet buy a laptop for the same price and run Reason. Job done.

App that adds music notation, Ensemble Composer Pro would be your best choice. Everything else is single-track oly, but if you can live with that that shouldn't be a problem.
Sadly in terms of music composition apps, Android isn't quite there yet...not ones that require full-on notation and traditional score anyway.

I wish there were some developers here that could fix the latency since Google has no plans to do anything about it. The music apps are the one thing I miss from iOS. The number of people this would be useful too seems to be a very small minority though.

They said they'd address it (or at least look into it more) prior to ICS iirc. It did get a little better but it's still horrible.
