Sense 3.5 Themes

These are Sense themes created by Cypis and McLuvin made to work on Sense 3.5. They work o EddyOS Rom just fine.

Another..These are not flashable zips. extract and install apk.

could you do one with beats color please?(not too much ^^)

One of the skins is called amazing Sense and you'll find that in it's own thread listed on the Sensation Theme App forum. The other is called Blackout and I found it as a Sense 3.5 skin over in the Evo 3D forum, now it is offered as Sense 3.0 skin bit it is not free and you must purchase if the market.

As for the request, I'm not really a Skinner, don't have the time and patience for it as there are alot of images to edit. Porting over a Sense 3.0 already made doesn't really take allot of time. As for the request for a purple one there is already a purple Sense 3.0 skin, I'll port that over for you.

Thank you, I found the thread on amazing sense, but this doesn't look anything like what you have pictured above. I really want to use what you have above (black ring and transparent status bar), but the sense 3.0 theme by cypis doesn't look anything like it...

So you want that Amazing Sense theme like I have it here but for Sense 3.0 but with the transparent bar and black ring? The transparent bar is actually not transparent but a section of the wallpaper to make it look transparent. I've tried the transparent bar but sometimes it doesn't look right one you start going into apps.For instance I have the stock white icons, well friendcaster has a white background, so my icons will seem to dissappear but they actually blend in into the background of the app.

Hey fmedrano1977 is it possible that you can make a blackout 3.5 apk but with the status bar being untouched? I dont like it transparent. Thanks in advance.

[LEAK] Preview of the new HTC Sense 4 on ICS

The HTC Ville has been caught on video ahead of its expected MWC 2012 debut, showing off both its slimline form-factor as well as a glimpse of HTC Sense 4.0. According to the Android 4.0 smartphone’s hardware info page, it runs a 1.5GHz dualcore processor with 1GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen. There’s also WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and an 8-megapixel main camera.

I hope so or let's say, I wish. And if they do, I'm curious if the 50 gigs of Dropbox space will be available for us.

Am i the only one who thinks this is bad? I like the animations, and the new filp clock, horizontal app drawer is nice too. But i HATE the grey colour scheme. It's in the 3.5 app drawer, i always switch to transparent app drawer. Now, it's on the lockscreen shortcuts, dock, notification panel, menus in short everywhere !! The settings menu has an ugly tint of white. The bottom part of the lockscreen is gone (the arc where the ring was). I hope it's an early build and they change stuff........
PS - Comparing this to Sense 3.6 in the Sensation thread, i think Sense 3.6 is better.

I must say i agree with you shrome...
It doesn't look like too much of an improvement. I like stock ICS better that the Sense 4.0 in the leaked video. And overall, i still think Sense 3.5 is the best looking UI, followed closely by stock ICS.

Isn't the grey color because of the camera with which the leak was recorded?

yeah i agree with this too,the grey looks very bad but i like every thing else except maybe the bottom bar...but i remember that when sense 3.5 i had the same bad feeling because of the crappy leaked screenshots...lets hope sense 4.0 looks better on the device
one thing i didnt understand is inclusion of capacitive buttons,why did HTC include this on a device launching with ICS? if they didnt include the buttons they could have used that screen space for apps & browsing..

Do you think that the HTC Sensation XE ICS ROM would make a better port for things like getting the camera working properly in roms such as Quattro?

"Early this year" is a bit rough, not sure whether HTC will release it in Q1 but would be good to have a few HTC ICS ROMs for devs to pull things from to get all features working

Id be happy to get 3.6 on my DS already lol, will keep me busy till v4

Nope. As I read from pocketnow, (I can't remember the source) HTC have given a new aporoach and decided to ditch the dark black theme for this new grey theme now.

Hmmm i thought the XL was qHD as well...
And it didnt stop the early sense 3.0 ports to lower resolutions last year...

Nope. That's why Endymion and other ROMs run really well with no major inconsistent size issues.
Yeah, those ports were based on the original Sensation. Also, there was only 1 port for us, Virtuous. It required a lot of time to resize, and it wasn't as perfectly done as having it in ready format, straight from htc. remember there were so many bugs? Inconsistent widget sizes etc. There's no more point wasting effort trying to perfect the qHD port. might aswell wait for the XL ICS.

as i know should be out this month for the XL

I actually quite like it. It seems to have a much cleaner look than previous versions which I felt were too bloated. I guess we'll see if sense remains king of bloat

hi.. i just love the new sense 4.. all exept of the clock.. i hate the font, i hate the look of it..
can anyone make a sense 3.5/6 clock on the sense 4 roms?

I dont think this is possible yet. There is no m10 editor available and the clock from sense 3.6 as far as I know is not compatable with sense 4.0

The easier way would be to edit the sense 4 clock to look like sense 3.6 not trying to port but it all depends what is locked in m10 havent looked myself

You could simply download the sense clock widget app from the market..its free and you can edit it to your liking

Really? On my Rogers One XL, you can only change the colors of the default launcher and notification bar between black, "aluminum" and slightly transparent. No curved Sense 3 style launcher. No extra skins available for download yet either.
Seems if you're looking for the old Sense 3 "Rosie" style launcher (phone button in the middle, apps on the left, personalize on the right) you'll be disappointed, at least for now unfortunately.

Isn't Rosie the name of the pre-4.0 Sense UI? I figured he was talking about the new launcher, which I don't think we can do much about right now besides change the color and transparency a little...
I forgot all about the lockscreen. Seems pretty much unchanged to me and has all the usual options for changing styles. I have mine set to show the weather. Guess it depends what exactly he wants to skin.

Hey all,
I was wondering if there is a way to PORT Sense to AOKP so I can have a mix of both. I'd be willing to look into doing it myself or with some guidance. I'm buying my girlfriend a HOX soon and she likes the AOKP on my One V but at the same time, she (for some reason) likes Sense (especially the animated weather, clock, etc. widgets). If someone knows of a ported version of the Sense widgets (with the animations), then that would also work.

There is no aokp sense yet. There is a sense 4.5 port but it's very unstable. Buy her beautiful widgets. It has the big fancy clock and weather animations your girlfriend likes

It may be possible to port some aokp features to a specific sense ROM but I've seen someone try and port some sense elements and it isn't that easy to make each app dependant upon itself instead of the sense framework

The proprietary Sense features require a Sense base. No one has found a way around this and isn't likely to because the code for Sense is not open-source.
There are several Sense roms with AOKP elements.

If you want the actual Sense clock, you have to use the Sense launcher. No way otherwise.
However you could use HD widgets to get a Sense like clock and flash CleanRom Dev to get a Sense ROM with AOSP styling.

Or search for fancy widget. Its an exact copy of the sense clock minus the animations

Yeah i'd also like the combo aokp+sense. I must say mine n ur gf's thought are alike.

+1 for beautiful widgets. Use that and find a good sense theme for the theme chooser. There's like 3 or 4 in the android themes section here on xda alone. The average user wouldn't be able to tell the difference

Technically almost anything is "possible", but rohan32 explained the complexity of porting the Sense camera here, and I assume the same applies to other Sense apps and widgets.
Basically, the amount of work to port over Sense components makes it infeasible. And you would have to port the Sense launcher as well, as even on Sense based ROMs, if you ditch the launcher, you lose the widgets. At that point, you may as well just be using a Sense ROM.
