yea, but cos there's a fair few to decide between i wanted some experienced knowledge to give me a good starting point and its interesting to know what people have tried and like

Hi I'm new to android and this is my first android phone so basically I really don't have any idea how to flash the phone with new Rom. I just wanted to ask the help of the community to help me and instruct me on how to step by step flash my phone. I've heard that the revolution hd is the most famous one so I wanted to try it on my month old pure stock sensation. Thanks in advance XDA community.

For root use the stickies at the top of the development subforum. For sense, buy an HTC phone. Its all AOSP here, the point of this phone is to have stock Android. Please familiarize yourself with the search feature or do some good old reading.

Sense is also closed source afaik, so you can't just port it. You need to rebuild it.

Hi,
Are you still s-on?
If so ,you should probably visit THIS GUIDE
Post if you want to root,s-off ,etc.
Everyone is different in their usage and likes,so,I cannot possibly say what will be the best ROM for you.
Experiment with both Sense,and Non-Sense ROMS.
You will quickly see which ones you like.
S is off and I don't know the difference at all between them but i'll check out the post and thanks for your response

Hi,
If you are s-off,then,you are rooted as well.
You can flash anything you like.
A word of advice,make nandroid backups BEFORE flashing.
This will get you safely,and quickly,back to a stable system,if you do not like what you have flashed...
Many times as I observe that modded Roms start to be ceased to develop. At that time there's don't really understand what should they work upon. Therefore I am starting this thread so that we can express our desires. But please don't ask for extremely difficult or complicated Roms and don't even expect eta s as it is the developers wish whether he wants to develop on your wish or not

I want a Rom that is extremely smooth and can play games. I havent seen a Rom made specially for gamers. Also some free games should be included in it. How I wish that someone could make a Rom that plays game exceptionally and has also some title so that who have nit been able to download separately could download the games. Like me

You are hurting the purpose of my thread. He wants and even development is going on. Btw this thread is to reduce useless posts in dev threads.
Now you realise why I have opened this thread. Devs get annoyed when asked for eta's and stuff and moreover can you go to cm 10 thread and ask for a gaming modded rom or go Xperia fusion thread and ask for a rom which you have imagined for yourself. Devs accept suggestions in their threads only when it is related to their style of work or their roms.

I would love to have a Sense 4 Rom with all the Sense 5 goodies along with no lags and good multitasking. along with some performance and gaming tweaks.

On a side note, how did you know that it had been moved? I thought mods usually made a statement that they were moving a post.
