need help please I unrooted my fone using RUU but its still s-off and wud like it bak 2 s-on so can send it in 4 repair as its acting up I'm on Vodafone using desire s

can you boot you ROM (is your phone working?)

You used revolutionary to gain s-off, am I right?
The problem is that the revolutionary bootloader can't be overwritten with standard methods only within adb with dd command it works, take a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285312
The description is in there and also solutions if it fails.

I think craven667 meant for you to read the thread he started, "[Fix] 3.32 Firmware and bootloop fix". Also just in case you did not know, you can click on the members name at the top left of any post and it will take you to the ember's profile page. Then you can click on link that say find all post by "member's name".

Serious question but how does your thread help the OP?
To the OP - if you're wanting to gain s-off you won't be able to as the hboot isn't supported. You can flash CWM manually using fasboot tho

To gain S-off you will have to revert back to a stock Gingerbread ROM before you can S-off. After you S-off you can reflash the ICS ROM and you will remain S-off.

I've already told you what you can do to root the phone but you won't be able to get S-OFF at present
@craven667 - I was asking a serious question. Your thread is about bootloops so how does it help the OP asking about getting S-OFF when they're on an unsupported HBOOT? You keep trying to flame me but I was honestly asking a genuine question

You need to install using 4EXT with SmartFlash due to being S-On
Do a search for that and you'll find step by step instructions on exactly how to get your phone set up.
Alternatively you could s-off your phone. Search for s-off 1.29 for instructions on that. I think it's relatively simple now with the latest updates to Juntobear

I have 4ext but donnow how to change...
U think I need to change hroot or to leave it,and search how to change to s_off?

Try then from 4 ext
Go tools
At the end of the menu you will see the smartflash feature
Enable it
Then immediately flash the rom

from recovery format all parttions except sdcard
enable smartflash
flash the rom again
see then if you have the camera
if i helped you somehow you can always hit the thanks button

probably the camera.apk is missing from the rom.zip
unfortunately i don't know what else to suggset you
perhaps you can go to the thread's rom and post there your issue
edit:i thought something.maybe it is a bad download or old
try to download it again and follow the same procedure
