I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II SGH-I317M from Bell but had it unlocked and am using Koodo now!
I rooted the phone last nite using Odin 307.zip & CF-Auto-Root-xxxxx-etc.zip

[Q] How to install Bionix V on a Samsung Galaxy Gt-i9000m

Hi I recently rooted my samsung Gti-9000m from Bell everything was perfect then I installed clockwork to install voodoo I did a backup of everything using clockwork wich messed up my connection to 3g and voice so i reinstalled everything and now everything is fine. But i would really want to install team wiskey bionix v rom on my phone so is there a safe way to do it because im on a three years plan and I'd like to have a phone instead of a paper weight for the next threee years. I'm curently running my phone on the I9000UJL2 baseband version and the only thing I've done so far is root it everything else is stock and my 3 button recovery and download work I ve read a lot of post in this forum but my main concern is that most of them arrent for the Gt-i9000m bell version but for the international witch is a Gt-i9000. It has taken me a lot of time to take my decision to root due to concern of numerous Gt-i9000m having issues while rooting their device but now that I've root it i really want to have the best android experience . So feel free to help me I know a bit about computer but i'm pretty noob with android.

Root the device with custom rom before you can do anything on that... There is lot of risky process involved with that...

As of right now i dont think paranoid has a release for the bell galaxy note 2 but im sure they will in time but if i were you i would try out AOKP first...i've found their roms rather amusing but as a pro racecar drive im biased towards performance...im not really a pro racer :good:

[Q] Galaxy note 1 to Galaxy note 2

Is it possible to flash my galaxy note 1 with a galaxy note 2 rom?
If it is, I am using At&t as a carrier would I need the AT&T rom for galaxy note 2 to flash with?
I have always felt that these smart phone upgrades are just a simple rom uprade. For example Galaxy note 1 is the exact same thing as a galaxy note 2 with a upgraded rom.
No, you can't. It will possibly brick your device. Check out roms for Note 1 i'm sure there will be good ones.

Simply flashing the Note II ROM to Note I is not possible for sure, and it won't work or boot as there are changes in hardware and kernel. You'll need to port (Porting means changing the desired files in the Original ROM for making the Target ROM) the ROM to Note I for it to work. Search for 'Porting Guides' for understanding the procedures and I guess you could do it, but not sure though.
Okay, I thought it might work. It was just a theory and scratch I had to itch. Good thing I asked the pros first.
Thank you for the quick replies.
I am currently using Jelly Bam and thought I would try something different.
Cheers

[Q] Doomsday scenerio

I've been flashing my Samsung phones for several years so I don't have a problem with the process. But I've recently acquired the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2/SGH-I497 (data and wifi) and am disappointed to see that the tab is not supported by CM or any other custom roms.
If I flashed a rom created for a non-AT&T version of my tablet, what's going to go wrong? Would I simply need to change the APN back to the pre-flash settings... will it catch fire and explode in my hands.... or something in between?

You can't flash a ROM made for regular tab 2 coz At&t version got different processor (snapdragon) and hardwares so it's pretty much impossible that you can't get these ROMs working on your tab
