hey,
i have 2 note2 n7105, i never make gsm worked, event restoring efs(efs bckpro or 'dd' the efs partition). imei were readable typing *#06#
i bring them to a repair center, they used a Z3 box on both. both still gave baseband error.
they told me, my custom rom (DN3) may disturb process...
so i KIES both phone without error. i tried sim card to verify, 1 read gsm network but does not connect, (normal problem)
BUT second make call and receive with imei NULL/NULL (?), by typing *#06*
how it is possible?
is it legit to phone without imei?

Seems to be a similar issue like here: [Q]Null Imei, Baseband Unknown N7105 by Emprt.
With a "broken" EFS partition.
Check this thread: Baseband Unknown and IMEI Null NOW WORKING by karlonicolas.
Maybe this will work in your case too.
Sometimes reflashing the modem/baseband can help to get back the correct IMEI.
And for the next time, please backup your EFS partition like described here: [WARNING! + GUIDE] Backup and Restore IMEI / NV Data Procedure for GT-I9305 by lyriquidperfection.
Good luck !

I just flashed the stock ROM of my device and I have the IMEI nos. of my Mediatek Dual-Sim Phone. So it said invalid IMEI so I tried to recover them by the Moblieucle Tools method and the MTKDroid Tools method, both say it was succesfull but as soon as I restart my IMEI is still null.
PLEEEEEEEASE HEEEELP!!!!!!:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hi guys my friend bought a cheap very old used mediatek android phone (micromax a064) few days ago. it was getting alot of app not responding errors so we decided to flash stock rom. after that im getting invalid imei error. when I checked imei behind the phone its not clearly visible the paint has came off I can only read it partially . so my questions are
is there any way I can regenerate the IMEI number of the phone?
or is there any bar code reader that can read damaged imei barcode?
and before flashing I was using mtkdroidtool so that I could backup IMEI number but i got buzy with something and in a hurry never clicked on back up button. but I remember that it showed me IMEI number does it store temporary info somewhere on the pc ?
So i am trying to restore the imei number of my phone, it is currently 350000000000006 which seems to be some default thing. I am trying to use z3x samsung tool pro however during the process it gets stuck at checking Super User right...
Does anybody know what the problem is or if there is an easier way to restore my lost imei (i don't have an efs backup)
thanks
Hi people,
I made a mistake with SPL flash too and did a full format.
I was able to reflash the entire rom and my phone booted successfully on android and i was able to connect my gmail account.
I saw fin minutes after my two imei was null ( i read after it was due to the full format in the SPL Flash tool).
I connected my phone with Modem Meta and writted exactly the two same imei number i had before ( the 2 numbers on the sticker), then write.
Now, my phone cannot boot and it's wrotten "NV Data corrupted".
I don't understand why it's corrupted since i put exactly the same IMEI number as before.
What do you think of this ? Any way to fix it ( I don't have any NVRAM backup saddly)

Restore efs partition.
Do a Google search for:
"Restore EFS on (your specific model number)".

Hello, no results saddly.
I redid a full format then reflash the rom.
IMEI are null again, i use ModemMeta and only write the second IMEI ( and leave the first null). With this method, the phone is able to boot now !
Saddly, my Bluetooth Mac Adress is null now
