Converting snote files - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I am a student an i rely heavily on my note well to take notes, I want to switch from revolution hd to cm10.1 I know that there are many alternatives to snote but I can't lose the notes I've taken for this semester. So I was wondering if there was a way to convert the snote files to another note taking app?

I believe you can open pdf's in lecture notes and work with them.

[APP Request] - PDF reader - magazine style

Hi all,
Looking for a good PDF reader for Honeycomb tablets that shows the PDF files in a magazine style. Like Zinio does, just with external PDF files.
Anything like that exists?
Thanks
Seems to be the theme of my last few posts but try-

Have you tried Perfect Viewer with pdf plugin?

Actually works, but is quite slow compared to kindle, as far as I remember.
The strange thing about Kindle is that it does not appear in the list of applications available for opening pdf files. I also tried Default App Manager Lite, but it seems not working.
Im using RepliGo its not free but you can do notes, bookmarks, highlights.
Give it a try.

Yes, I've purchased it. It's great, but there is no support for dual-page view.
The best I've seen is using eBookDroid. It works best if you have a means of hiding the action bar, as otherwise, pages don't fit as well on the screen landscape mode, otherwise similar to the black bars on TVs showing animorphic widescreen movies).
ezpdf is the best I've tried

Picture software

Hey folks...
As I'm working for a web agency, I often need to open big picture for approval. Anyone have some suggestion about an Android software for the Note that will handle jpeg of over 1MB ?
Thanks

Already try it last week! got the same problem! Quickpic give me "Load failed"
What I try to do it's to open the pic from my email (using K-9) and I choose Quickpic! I have no problem for smaller image even with the builtin gallery...
But large file over 1MB give me problem even with Quickpic...
okie guys let me make that application for you tell me all you need I will do it
Just need something to be able to open large image file!
don't need any "edit" function. Just a simple viewer for jpeg/png files and I will be more than happy!
I think my problem is the DPI too, not only the filesize!
I'm dealing with large file over 1 MB but most of the time, 300 dpi!
thxxxxxxxxxx
will start very shortly
I had the same problem... Polaris office is the application... njoy...

I use Just Pictures.
I can load 4 or 5 MB HDR jpgs fine.
It's also good if you want to have a number of sources (flickr, facebook, devant art, picasa etc.) plus all of your local photos all in one app. It can store thumbnails, and then download from online sources as you need them.

Screen Record and Popup Note

Hi,
I've watched the Note II introduction video and saw some nice ideas for apps to run on Note.
Specially "screen recording" and "popup note" ideas are totally software solution which can be achieved by small apps.
There is already popup video and popup internet browser as an app.
I just wonder if there is a working screen recording app for Note. I've found 2 of them on Google Play but none of them works stable.
Also, a popup note app would be loveful. Is there an app which can do this ?
Thanks.
Screencast is an app which works absolutely fine for recording but that is not pop up...
And what is the point in making a recording app pop up???i dnt see any point in this.
HIT THANKS

See FloatNote
I also use Screencast all the time on my Note. See my YouTube link in sig.
And the browser would be OverScreen. Cost a couple bucks, but there are free floating browsers of varying / lesser quality. Search market for "floating apps".

If you are asking for pop browser then it is Overskreen browser
And screen recording app is screencast

For the popup note, FloatNote works really fine. But it really works only with a s-pen. Is there another app which wouldn't require s-pen and would work on other devices (such as S3) ?
Screencast is also nice. But it doesn't run on Galaxy S3, just works on Galaxy Note. weird...

Best app for large pdfs?

I have a text book that's like 170mb and when using Aldiko it looks good but lags really bad when trying to turn pages etc.
Any suggestions?

I grabbed Moon+ Reader from the market for .epub files on my Nexus 7, but found it opens PDF's and does an awesome job with everything I've thrown at it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreader
Moon reader will do inverted and scaling.
Digitized by the Master's fingers on a Samsung Galaxy S III (VZW)
Try RepliGo. Not free but I've used it to open a 220MB pdf file.
File was Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine which has tons of pictures, diagrams and charts and it handled it very well.

Photosphere app

Guys I have an idea to take photospheres from legacy devices without gyro.
How the app should perform:
Take a central snap.
The app stores the data from the edges of the snap.
The app requests to move the camera in a particular direction.
After moving a certain distance the shot is taken and stitched with the previous image.
Anyone interested in creating in an app using the basic workflow of the above idea?

Yeah. Around 15-16 photos needs to be stitched. But that's what it happens in 4.2 camera but gyro and the hardware of newer phones stitches them seamless.

Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda app-developers app
Also I have another idea.
The app requests you to take continuous video in all directions slowly.
The video is saved and it is viewed in 360 viewer(fictional name).
Based upon the video, the images from certain time points are snapped and stitched all over 360deg.
The angular shots are matched with shot at which photo was snapped.

Is it yet available?
photosphere without gyro is definitely possible
360 panorama app by occipital does entire sphere without gyro. Photosynth on windows platform does that too. These work by using accelerometer for orientation and compass for direction and stitch simulating the gyro

A Better Camera!
Take a central snap.
The app stores the data from the
edges of the snap.
The app requests to move the camera
in a particular direction.
After moving a certain distance the
shot is taken and stitched with the
previous image.
This feature already in a better camera app(Android 4.0 or higher).
If I help you,
Don't miss Thanks
