I have been here since the time of "No Thanks" and then the transition to "Thanks" , so I am aware ... most new users are not aware of this functionality or use !
Since nowadays Sense 5 is the craze thought I'll add the Roboto Condensed font to give that look
Since ICS and now jelly bean ROM, I have not been able to use italics and/or bold italics fonts as system font. So, if possible please help me to use italics and bold italics font as system ones. Thank you. My phones: HTC One X (rooted and S-off) and HTC Butterfly (rooted only).
Find attached here Times New Roman as my preferable font.

I think you misunderstood my querry: i want to use an italics font (preferable italics TimeNewsRoman one) as system font for rendering in my HTC One X and HTC Butterfly, which they are runing JellyBean.
For the moment, I am using your RobotoCondense, it's clear and clean. Thanks.

1. Gridfitting
2. Grayscale Rendering
3. Cleartype Smoothing (Needs AntiAliasing supported on kernel)
4. Line & letter spacing auto calculated and fixed
Download and flash again. Should get much more clearer fonts with proper alignments between words and lines.

@vbn if you also do HelveticaNeueLTPro35Th.ttf and HelveticaNeueOTS.ttf it does clock on lockscreen and such (I changed these fonts and the 4 roboto fonts in mine) works fine gets all system fonts

to change the font size i had to change only one file on "com.htc.resources.apk"
the com.htc.resources.apk is 32Mb

1. affects the 80% of all rom
2. i will make a backout process
3. works on ALL roms, ( but its better to use on 1.73.401.2 based roms )
4. this dont interacts with LCD density setting

As far as I know, fonts can't be changed by theme. But I will see if it is possible

Yes I looked into it. It is not possible to add bigger text for the second screen, at least for now. If you went to the 4ext website, you would realise that he is working on a new version of recovery with has more flexibility. Maybe after he finishes with that, we can request for a feature to edit sub-menus

tried it on for size and it's just..PERFECT! when i booted to recovery i was asking myself if i was still on Sense 5 power menu or what.

I'm planning to make a Chinese version for the Theme, but I need at least one of you to help me with this things:
1) If you on ViperS 5, change your language to Chinese and take a screenshot of Settings.
2) Give me the text in the recovery's main menu in character and hanyu pinyin.

as you guys know we have the ability to change fonts now in settings for sense 6! i have provided some of the best fonts in .apk where you dont have to be rooted to change fonts as many people are here still enjoying the stock rom.
How to install:
1- download desired font.
2- copy it to your phone.
3- use any file explorer (eg. ES file explorer)
4- install APK.
5- head to Settings> Display and gestures > Font style and there you can change your fonts on the go without any reboot required :good:
disclaimer:i did not create or own those fonts. those are my personal collection which i downloaded from many sources and wanted to share on here.
**some fonts may look bigger or smaller than stock but you can control them from Settings> Display and gestures > Font size
***Some fonts conflict with others. you can see it if you choose a type of font (type1) and it reverts to other (type2). you must uninstall the one you dont want (type2) so you apply the one you want (type1):silly:
****i may not have tested all the fonts so please report non-working fonts so i remove them.
***** please provide the font .ttf file for the request if possible.

yes there is a problem when installing many fonts all in one time, if you select any roboto style and it reverts to roboto bold then it means theres a conflict. uninstall roboto bold then you can choose the other font you want.

Change the file extension to zip. Drill down to the fonts folder. Preview the font from the ttf file.

If you are using winrar you can view the contents of the apk with it. Easier way Google it and it will help you. Will add more fonts and organize the thread later.

I have tried for while now to find a font called Pale font (picture attached) so I can make it an android font but I just can't find it.
Anyone know if you can find the actually font file to make it into android font?
I have been active in creating/editing/modding fonts for multiple devices in the past.
After HTC decided to include support for Flipfont types starting from Sense 6 based ROMs, I thought to rest myself
However, applying fonts via that way still doesn't feel perfect to me (call it OCD, shall we). Hence, I created this first package (more to come...)
This will apply the Roboto Light font "System Wide" giving the whole UI a cleaner look. The light font included with the stock ROM is way too light, so I have made it little bolder for legibility.
Refer to attached screenshots. I will be creating multiple versions soon, like Condensed/More bolder/etc.

So this is interesting, ever think of other fonts? Would love to see a windows calibri font, maybe a little more bold than normal.
Or if you have some instructions I'd entertain giving it a go. Either way nice work.

Well I already did that for the HTC ONE M7.. M8 needs 2-3 more fonts due to the way sense 6 works...

Somone kind of did already check it out. However the iOS one doesn't have the flag emoji's. Maybe you could fix that. Another note is HTC uses AndroidEmoji-htc.ttf file for it's emoji's. I replaced it manually.

Ah yes I am aware of that ... only thing he didn't do was resize the Glyphs thats why they get cut off ... ok let me pull that file and try to resize them ...

Replace all sense emojis and google emojis with Samsung emojis. I can also help you test them if need be.

Ok thanks every rosemary font i try either the lockscreen dont theme right or settings or the clock so im looking forward to try this out
Is there a flashable zip to return to the original font..All the fonts are causing issues with the lock screen clock..If not don't worry will reflash the ROM ..But might be an idea to have a return to stock zip...
