Missing apps help. - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Can some one point me in the right direction. I'm looking for the missing apps for the HTC one x.(flashlight, fm tuner etc...) I did a factory reset on my phone so I could give it to my daughter and I cannot seem to find the thread. Note: I am not rooted.

Most are system apps. Therefore you need to have root to install them.

Mobile hotspot apk as requested

Someone requested this in the wrong forum, and just as I was going to post it, someone else locked the thread instead of moving it (like would have made sense). Either way, here it is.

Thanks buddy! I'm guessing this apk enables rooted devices to create mobile hotspots without paying tmobile..
It's the stock app, but with a custom APN you can tether with or without root.
Add a custom Access Point Name, name it whatever you want and set the apn to epc.tmobile.com, save it and set it as default. Tether away.

Not able to install it, lets me change permission but fails to install it

What is it saying? App not installed after attempting, or something else?

Yeah app not installed with a red x

Is because it's a system app. Push it to system/app and fix permissions, then reboot.

I got it in system/app, changed permissions rebooted and no go, or do you mean fix permissions in ROM manager ?

It shouldn't matter how you fix them, as long as they stick through the reboot.
You can try going into system/app and installing it from there by clicking on the app. Might not work, though... Might be something else you need. Maybe an odex file, but I don't have root, so I can't pull mine.

AOKP: Apps Not Compatible with my Device?

A lot of apps that are usually compatible with my device aren't anymore. I cleared the data on my Google Play app and fixed permissions in the boot loader but that didn't seem to work. Is anyone else having this issue as well?

Wrong section. Try reflashing your ROM then if that doesn't work try running an RUU. Don't forget the factory reset and clearing the davlik cache and cache when flashing

There are some excellent apps require root....
Titanium backup..Adfree .. etc
- speed (cpu tweaks)
- no ads
- battery tweaks
- some kernel support swap (more ram memory)
- back up all your data
- change lcd density ( resolution)
- and a lot more

Because its MY phone, so I shouldn't be denied access to MY phone. I am admin of everything I own. If I could root my microwave, i would do it.

Last 2 days my gmail app and playstore refuse to connect. Uninstalled and 're-installed both apps cleared all data and caches.... Nothing at all both are latest updates. Anyone else having any issues?
