I am trying to find a way to set peak and off peak email times like the one that came on the phone from the factory. I have looked at the profiles settings but really liked the fact that it was automatic before. I have also looked at some apps in the PlayStore but I am not finding anything that really just integrates into the email app that came with ParanoidAndroid.
I really like ParanoidAndroid (I have put many other ROMs on this phone already) and don't want to lose it. I am using Hotmail and Gmail.
So, does anyone know of anything out there? If not, I have never done this before but would it be hard to learn how to make an app or write a line of code to do this? Please excuse my ignorance but I am willing to learn if someone is willing to help me out.

1. ive tried 3 or 4 new roms (juicy, mightymike, energys...)and for some reason the data connection turns on by itself...ive already checked to make sure that nothing is automatically updating (weather, stocks, etc) and theyre not....ive read that n 6.5 the data connection reads a on but its really not??? can someone help me out because my battery seems to be draining quickly.
2.battery life on the above mentioned roms seem to be not that great.
3.my phone runs at anywhere from 55 to 75 on boot up with the above mentioned roms. i tried using the no push inteernet cab and the ssk dynamic resource proxy cab but they dont seem to make a difference
4. i keep hearing about this program called XDA UC...i think i know what it does but im not 100% sure...will someone please elaborate on what this is, and how to use it (ive read the thread on xda about it but it looks like greek to me
5 i cant seem to get MMS to work on any rom what so ever....no sending or receiving...ive tried the "MMS FIXES" that are suppose to work, but they dont help unfortunately
6. on some roms the TF3D audio manager will work and on some it doesnt (and it wouldnt work on my verizon stock rom either)...i wish i could figure this out

I've been trying to find out the same thing... apparently you have to root your phone - check out this site

and then you can install an app to let you manage your proxy settings, i found one called ASProxy on android market but you have to pay for it, or have a look at this:

I don't really understand any of this stuff, haven't tried it yet as I am completely new to android phones and technical language, my previous phone was a old-school nokia so this is a huge leap! Was hoping to find someone who might know a bit more about it and who could explain what to do in English, I don't understand half the words on the second website.

This site was really helpful for me as I knew nothing about this stuff beforehand, I managed to root the phone without any problems at all. It would have been nice though if someone somewhere on the net had mentioned that in rooting your phone you will be invalidating your warranty... bit late now!
Still trying to find a way of getting wifi through the college proxy server thing, I think this link about transproxy would be really helpful but I don't understand how to install it and have no idea what iptables are and how to do that...

Hi there, I got a free account for APP Hub because im a student, however I cant seem to unlock my device? It wont let me? I verified my e-mail however it still wont let me unlock when I use the windows phone tools. Please help
Just found out that i need to make a dummy app, thanks anyway! However can i sideload as many apps as i want to or is there a limit? If there is a limit how many? As I might just use chevron!
With the student account you can only side load 5 apps, how ever there is a tool somewhere that can fix this problem.
Search my posts and you will find it.

Find an app that you know will never be allowed in the market place, or one thats been rejected for some reason. Im sure you can find some if you look around

So, I finally got a work email (yay) and I was wondering if there was any way possible to use a "hack" to make it so I can receive my emails on my phone. Currently, all they have is stuff for BlackBerry's... and I asked the IT guys if there's any way I could get it on my Android phone (Rooted Moto Droid)... they said no.
So, I'm asking you guys. After looking around in the settings some (that I know of), it doesn't look to promising, but figured I'd at least ask.
I have no idea what kind of information you guys would need, so, just ask and I'll tell you want I can.

i looked it up if there were any similar questions already but those weren´t answered yet or just too old,
so here we go (aaand i posted it in a wrong place already)
i installed (with the big help of this community cm 11) and i really like it but when i want to use the calendar it says i can only using it with registration with googles!! well, exactly this was the reason what brought me here in the first place
So does anybody knows WHY on earth do we have to do this? and please.... i must not syncronise with some weird onlineservice like google, itunes or any cloud.... just totaly simple my pocketphone ...which i can backup on my e.g.desktop
and is it possible to back it up on the sd ?
I would looooooove to get a hint
