Hello people,
Befor I present you my app I would like to introduce myself because this is my first post in this great forum. I am a new developer of Android apps. All I know I learned by myself from the mighty internet and his tutorials and examples and now I'm trying to publish and share with all of you the best of me. I want to keep learning and who knows, maybe one day I will be able to achieve my dream and live developing apps.

SOS Tools is a very useful FREE tool which will help you to get out from an emergency or other troubles.
The powerful flashlight and the screen light (in case your device does not have camera flashlight) will guide you through the darkness and with the SOS Morse code signal built-in you will allow others to know you’re in trouble.
In a real danger or emergency, use the fast emergency call function to inform the authorities or the emergency SMS with predefined message including your coordinates to inform a person that you are in troubles.

[APPS][2.2+] Weed Scale & Diamond Scale - weigh stuffs with your devices!

Hi guys, I have been asked to merge Weed Scale and Diamond Scale topics, so let go!
1) Weed Scale (FREE) - great scaling app (yes, it really works!). Originally designed for weighing weed but it works pretty cool for anything withing range 1-5 g (~0.035 - 0.17 oz). It uses both accelerometer and gyroscope for measurements

PROS:
- it's free
-results are pretty decent
CONS:
- we had too put some ads in to stay on the market and keep developing cool apps
- ads requires permissions; ads networks are using all kind of ads - sms, push etc. (so their permissions may look realy strange)
SUMMARY:
- it's FREE - why dont give it a shot?
- over 1.4 mil downloads
- 6.5k reviews with avg. 4-star rating - this means somthing

2) Diamond Scale (PAID) - redesigned version of Weed Scale. UI has changed, accuracy has changed and ads has gone ! It uses only gyroscope for measurements. Results are much more accurate, but works only with new (equiped in gyroscope) devices. Works good within range 0.5-7 g (~0.017 - 0.25 oz).

PROS:
- ads free = no strange permissions
- results are even better (yes, it's possible!)
CONS:
- you must pay for it (show us some love )
- it only works with gyroscope devices

SUMMARY:
- if you like Weed Scale you would fall in love with Diamond Scale
- fresh app; not so many downloads so far but the avg. feedback is pretty decent - 4-star rating

Never heard or seen anywhere this flashlight app. Personally, I use Tiny Flashlight for the last 3-4 years. Will try sometime this one.

I will try to answer your question. My application development philosophy is in the following steps:
1) I post on the forum applications with minimal functionality. At the first stage, it is standard and you often ask yourself: why is it necessary at all? This is already on the market or in embedded applications! In fact, this is a clean sheet and not a full application.
2) Very rarely do specific user suggestions appear - what new functions do they really need in this application. This is a key stage - an application is written for it and a post is posted on the forum. In other words, I do not impose functionality invented by me to users. Users themselves are application architects. If there are no offers, then the application dies and further development stops.
3) If there are proposals, then the reality of fulfilling the wishes of the user is weighed and a new functionality is added to the application. After several such iterations, you will not have such questions.

Important Notes:

2. Sensor usually placed at the top left corner of your screen. Keep it uncovered to check the illumination intensity by using lux meter.
3. The accuracy of the measure depends on the accuracy of your device sensor. It may differ from real lighting and between different devices.
4. For correct results hold your device steady and horizontal.
