[Q] Flashing wrong version of CWM - General Questions and Answers

Hey everyone,
So I was being stupid and not checking what I was flashing before actually flashing it. I was trying to update my CWM v5.X to CWM v6.X on my Galaxy S3 I747, but flashed a CWM v6.X for maguro instead. Now my phone is hard-bricked (as in it won't turn on at all. no going to recovery or download mode) Has anyone ever done this before? Would a USB jigger force my phone into download mode in this situation?

If your device boots into cwm so you are not in a hard brick, you can flash any other version of cwm like 5.5.0.4 or 6.0.1.2

There is one problem with this. After flashing cwm or twrp, I'm still not able to get into the recovery unless I am doing it wrong.

Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If you have tried flashing a recovery and it isn't working then you should just go ahead and flash the stock firmware and start over with rooting and custom flashing.

Can't boot into CWM Recovery?

Hello all. I'm not new to XDA but I am new to being an active member. So to cut the story as short as I can, I have a rooted Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 and when I open ROM manager(I have premium), it says my current recovery is CWM 6.0.4.7, because I flashed it. That's all done and dandy, but it's quite useless for me since when I boot into recovery mode, it just boots up the stock Android recovery. I'm trying to install the CWM ROM but I can't even get into the right boot, can y'all help me out here?
