help me i have problem in my desire s when i powered on stuck on startup
i try to flash but not accept any firmware coz hboot version very high
SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 2.00.0002
And SuperCId: HTC__001
i try many roms always getting error and i try to downgrade but downgrading solution not working in fastboot mode
please help me how solve that problem thanks in advance

That HBOOT version is not "too high" for flashing ROMs. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525100
Did you flash the boot.img of the roms you are trying?

yes i try that one too when i install that rom show error on installation

yes i did before flashing and after flash but condition still same stuck on startup logo

however, when i install ANY rom i end up in a boot loop. what could be the problem?

Are you flashing the appropriate firmware for the ROM? For ICS ROM's you will need to update your firmware and HBOOT to V3.32 with HBOOT 1.27.000.

Hi,
Yes, you need to flash the appropriate firmware,which for ICS is 3.32
This will give hboot 1.27 ,and the radio you need as well.

once i flashed the rom it boots enter the home screen, 3 seconds later freezes and goes to a bootloop what should i do?

What have you been doing?
You have ICS hboot,but a GingerBread radio.
I suggest you reflash the 3.32 firmware.

Hi,
It is all explained in the thread.
You need to find out your cid number ,and then, edit the text file in the firmware package.

Hi,
You can get to bootloader,so choose fastboot:
"How to check your CID & MID:
You can do this one of the following ways."
1. fastboot load into the bootloader and do:
fastboot getvar cid
fastboot getvar mid

yesterday I had installed a tmobile ruu. The RUU changed my radio and my hboot. Now I wanted to install my RUU wich i have used at least 3 or 5 times. But it when wanted to run the ruu it says that i have to search a compatible ruu for my phone. but because i have already used the ruu i simply changed the radio to 1.11.50.05.28 but it don't work is it because i have a other hboot?

As you're s-off I think you should reflash stock recovery before you will be able to flash any other RUU successfully...
Also it's not necessary to lock/unlock bootloader once you are s-off.

Thanks i will try it. But Tage last times it was successfully even with TWRP and S-Off. Tested but it doesn't work

You're in the wrong forum, this is the Ville C2 forum. Allow me to redirect you to the Ville forum. :good:
Since you're S-ON, we need to know what your CID is... I think you should find in in bootlloader.
Another option is to get S- OFF and then you are able to use any RUU you want
And what goes wrong when trying to go back to stock?
Do you get any error messages?

I believe that's true only for RUUs older than Jelly Bean, JB RUUs do not accept other CIDs (also no super CID).
But I might be wrong!

When he copy the files he stops and says that the Ruu wrong version is!

I upgraded the hboot from 2.15 to 2.16 using magiofuu i tried to put MagioRom on the sdcard but no use
and now I think i bricked the phone

finally it worked
in recovery I used sideload and i put the rom magio on the sdcard
adb sideload magio.rom
then it didn't work just was stock on htc logo
afterwards i unzipped the boot.img from magio.zip and flashed it
fastboot flash boot boot.img
and then it worked like a charm
