Hi i really need help my xperia j is stuck on its booting screen and it doesnt come on it wont connect to my computer either and i backed up the rom and it still wont come on or delete it .. i need help asap

Flash your ftf using flashtool. You can get the ftf in your X J forum. Run a search.

Recovery?
did you try booting into recovery? If you can at least get the logo up, you might be able to get it into recovery and just do a factory reset
not able to enter recovery and the phone's vibration and led is working wen i switch it on or connect to pc bt it pcc shows that a se phone cnctd bt it does not connect

Hello guys howdy all ? am a newbie down here
I tried to flash my arc the other day using flashtool, the whole proccess been finished but when i tried to boot my phone it always stuck on sony ericsson logo.
it is no longer recognized by the computer and i can't get it started on flash mode by pressing the back key while pluging the usb cable
Any ideas ?

Hello everyone . I have successfully rooted the XPERIA J but after installing the CWM mentioned in the thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2033114
My Xperia can boot into recovery all right but it doesnt turn on in NORMAL mode . When I press the power button the SONLY LOGO comes up and then the phone turns off.
I had to repair it using PC Companion. Can you tell what the problem is . I changed the model number in build.prop too but it didnt help.
Can you please provide a working CWM for Xperia J ?
Need it urgently for installing CM10.

same problem, but i try to use Sony update service and restore my phone to normal, it's easy to use is working only your phone is off, sry for my bad english
before instal CWM you need to unlock bootloader

that cwm only works on .18 & .28 fw. thats why most people like me with unlockable bootloaders are stuck on primitive stock fw no one has developed a proper cwm for locked bootloaders yet
I tryed unlocking bootloader for my Xperia J and then When I done it didn't work (the.It just showed a charging sign which said it was on low battery. Everytime I tried to turn it back on it shows the charging icon quickly then turns quickly. Please asap.

Just flash latest firmware of J via flashtool.

mayb u r facing bootloop..if u have unlocked the bootloader..then try flashing cwm on your phone..if it works den flash your stock firmware..(if u have stored in your memory card)..if not then..try flashing the stock firmware via flashtool...remember when flashing wipe everything..and then flash..

Sony`s PC Companion can repair Boot Up problems after CWM install faild
Just watch this video on youtube and follow exactly the description on your PC Companion. Just search for this video on youtube "How to fix a (soft) bricked Sony Xperia Play( any Xperia )EASY METHOD, when stuck on the Sony logo"

Hey I have an rooted Xperia Tipo dual. I was messing around and accidently deleted the font files. My phone restarted but only gets up to the xperia stage of the boot. Also when I plug it into the computer because it dosent fully boot up my pc dosent recongise it. Please help. Thanks in advance.
If you have cwm enter cwm and plug the phone to the pc and use adb to push the fonts back

if you have cwm recovery:

check thread there are bunch of font packs just flash them via recovery
if you don't have recovery try flashing stock firmware it will fix everything
