one-click unbrick not working! still stuck in boot loop after a "successful unbrick!" - Samsung Infuse 4G

one-click unbrick not working! still stuck in boot loop after a "successful unbrick!"
it started with my sd card not being read.
I factory reset/wiped the system cache and dalvik cache
still wouldnt read my sd card. I re-installed cm 10 and got stuck in a boot loop at the cynogenmod screen
I factory reset/wiped the system cache and dalvik cache again
then the phone got stuck in a bootloop at the samsung screen and the phone wouldnt access cwm recovery.
I tried super one click unbrick and nothing. tried a couple of entrophy's one clicks, still nothing.
i can atleast access red recovery now but the system wont mount which im guessing is why the phone is stuck in a boot loop.
Cache wont mount either and i cant flash any roms
Any help?

Pull up odin, Put it in download mode and stock it back to GB. It should be working then :good:

You have to repartition as well. You may also want to give heimdall a try

After you flash a kernel the first boot does take a couple minutes, but flashing another rom should do it

reflashed a new rom it boots up but i have no service and it starts restarting itself, i went back to recovery and did a factory reset and nothing, do i now need to get a new phone.

Just boot into recovery, factory reset it, clear the Dalvik cache, format the system and install the stock GB rom or another rom. If you don't clear the Dalvik cache and wipe the system before installing roms or kernels you get bootloop problems such as this. Your phone is okay. The G2X is virtually unbrickable. It just gets indigestion form operator error when flashing roms.
ok so i factory reseted, cleared the cache and the dalvic. my phone wont read the gb stock rom, i dl unto my external card

Did you do a Nand Backup with CWM before flashing the kernel? If so, restore the phone how it was before you mucked it up.

Boot stuck

Today I tried doing the box.net trick to get 50gb free, so I editted my build.prop, then I rebooted. But it got stuck at the Galaxy Tab plus screen. So I tried reflashing via Odin. Now it booted, but now it is stuck at the Samsung boot screen.
So now I am running out of options, I tried mounting USB, but errors keep showing up. Please help. Thanks.
EDIT: Just to add on, using P6200.
Enters into recovery mode performs a wipe date , factory reset ,wipe dalvilk ,reboot..

you have to reflash your rom stock samsung and you must be sure that the package is not corrupted.

I did attempt that as well, now waiting for boot in the past 15 minutes.
EDIT: Tried 3 firmwares, and all didn't work out.
Anyway maybe I had some useful information. Apparently I could not mount my internal SD card for some reason. So does wiping my internal SD help?
OK managed to salvage the situations. Thanks anyway. :victory:

[Q] Stuck on boot animation..Please Help!!

I have this in development but though it shoudl be here.
Please help
I had issues loading AOKP| Build 4
These issues were caused I think by me. Before reloading I wiped Cache and Dalvic Cache, I then did a Format/Factory reset. While on this it stayed on formatting cache for about 20 mins. Since it locked up on formatting cache I held the power and vol down to get back in to CWM. I tried to install zip from ext sd Build-4. When it started it gave me a 4-5 lines saying E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log and others relating to that. I proceeded anyway with loading build-4, sometime through the installation it rebooted itself. After that the unicorn would come up for a few secs then reboot, then keep doing it in a boot loop. I again went in to CWM and tried again with the cache, dalvic and factory reset, same thing happened where it got stuck at cache but it restarted by itself this time. I then downloaded the stock rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1722745. After loading stock from Odin I was able to get ride of the cache errors and cache lock up problems.
The issue now is reguardless of Build-4 or stock it is stuck at either the unicorn or the samsung logo. I have also tried CM10, so stuck at boot now on stock, CM10 and AOKP-Build-4 Any help would be GREAT. Thanks
Do a factory reset in the stock recovery.
You are my hero!!! Several days of doing all kinds of things and that was the one I would have never thought about. Yup and going. No problems now.

[Q] PLZ HELP!! very bad soft bricked GT-P5100 :'(

2 days ago i was just going around my advanced junk with clean master app. there was a filed named empty folders which was 11 mb in advanced junk section, so i cleared the file and went to play angry birds, then suddenly it stuck and rebooted. :'( now every time it boots up, shows the boot image, starts the cyanogenmod boot animation and then the boot animation stucks and then the whole process again...REBOOT LOOP
i tried every thing till now:
1. tried to install stock rom through odin but still shows cyanogenmod animation and reboot loops
2.tried to install different recovery but the recovery doesn't change also.
3. tried to install a different rom for eg: PAC rom. it installs but it still shows cyanogenmod
4. also now i tried to install stock firmware with pit file but it still shows cyanogenmod animation.
AND MY WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED MONTHS AGO
i think there is a problem with the partition or something... i dont know how to fix it

If you are able to boot to recovery, can't you wipe completely? (System, cache, data) Once CM is gone you should be able to install other Rom. I'm a little confused how CM could continue to boot if it has been wiped from phone...

i wiped everything except sdcard in mount section even the dalvic cache but still cm boot animation appears :/
i think i cleared a system file which was related to the partition of the system in the advanced junk section of clean master app...
I HATE CLEAN MASTER
You can flash a Custom-Recovery using Odin.
You´ll find a link latest recoverys in my signature.
If Stock Recovery still boots you need to uncheck "Auto-Reboot" in Odin. When Odin finished flashing, wait 1 minute to be sure. Then directly boot into recovery from download-mode and enjoy the custom recovery.
This will increase your flashcounter!
Put your Rom & Gapps on your MicroSD Card
In CWM / CWM based recoverys:
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvic Cache
Wipe Data Factory Reset
format /system
fromat /data and /data/media (this will format your internal sd! be sure your rom placed on microSD card)
flash the rom
reboot (first boot can take ~30 minutes - if it still bootloops: something´s worng )
if everything working:
reboot recovery
flash gapps
reboot
Strange that reflashing the system didn't help. You could try it with an other recovery?

Is there anyway to force my phone to boot into ODIN/Download mode through recovery?

I recently bricked my Vodafone 875 and cant get past the boot logo, ive tried reinstalling the rom, wiping all cache and doing a factory reset.
I can access my CMW recovery menu but i cant boot into download mode.
Is it possible to force my phone to boot into download mode by installing a zip through the recovery menu?
EDIT: nvm i unbricked my phone by simply formatting system/data

I'm assuming you made a backup before you formatted?, try looking for a USB jig for your device, try eBay and if there is one out there make sure itis for your device specifically, good luck.
