Sense 4.5 Keyboard asking dev help for a port. I flashed it and it kinda works.

So I was on Nocturnal MergeX,and I decided to flash the HTC_IME out of newtroot ported sense 4.5 ics rom.
well I did and the keyboard works but cashes and the setting and faces don't work.
Maybe a dev that knows more about porting can take a look into this.

now I changed some code in the AndroidManifest to match the sense 4.1 keyboard,but I don't know if that did anything.
Well anyways would be really cool if one of you guys could get this to work on sense 4.1
I have add the zip I flashed. If anyone wants to look into it more.

From my experiences. Sense apps do not like to work on AOSP roms.

If it was sense based but a senseless ROM it may cause issues
I know with recent sense versions that system apps aren't as easily interchangeable with previous sense versions

Just to be clear on which rom I was on at the time I did this. It was Nocturnal MergeX.
Which is a sense base rom with a few aosp apps.

I ain't to sure if this will work on here,but I've been trying for weeks lol,everything works except it fc's when u use the keyboard in landscape/horizontal mode,maybe someone might no of a fix,here's 2 screenshots as I type this and a link to my keyboard,I have 2,a coloured & stock look version,also if any1 knows the exact files needed for htc_ime such as lib/bin/jar if any,then I could fix it no problem

Is this still based on CM10 or has PA made the move to AOSP as mooted elsewhere?
Can we flash from 2.54 without wiping etc?
I'll flash this and reports bugs as they occur, though 2.54 has been pretty solid for me

its still based of cm, im not sure if aosp source is public yet, and you should be able to just wipe cache if the other dev used cm source

A bit for me, although you'll still see some (although not too bad) lag in opening the status bar while other apps are running.

It has the libs. I just added the new Play Store in order to keep the size down, considering Sense is heavy.

Tried it for about 10 minutes until it just constantly rebooted. Can't wait for miui v5 but this is far from stable enough for me.

cool deal. lot of chatter about the firmware image not being available, lots of folks not getting this now because of that, but i say go for it. the stock tablet is pretty dang awesome...and so is my CM build

Updated the gapps package, added Adaway and the F-Droid app which is used to install other FOSS apps, of which Adaway is one.
