you deleted me from the team. im guessing cuz none of mine are phones? cant get this app to update stats is why

To remove what? You don't have to be on wifi, just get an internet connection. Yes, I removed you because you didn't have any phone in there Now that you do, just ask to join in again
its working now. for some reason it just didnt work at all, i guess doing it with wifi first made behave and work on 3g

Sure Just let it run...
I installed this twice on my N1, FC's when I try to start it... instantly.
After the first try failed I rebooted, cleared caches, started up again but still the same issue..
Anyone else with this problem? Check my signature for ROM/kernel/...

Anyway, I have so far used hydro 4 and cm10- both ran nicely and initially connected to home wifi. However, I took it on holiday for 2 days (and meanwhile was connecting to other networks) and when I returned I could only detect wifi from other houses, not my own. This has happened twice, as soon as I go anywhere different, and then come back and try and connect, I cannot detect my homewifi.
A reflash will sort it, but the problem will come back if i use other wifis, then return home.
Is there a fix for this?

Did you go back to stock and test? I would assume it isn't a hardware issue since you can connect to others, so I would then troubleshoot your home wifi, and see why it isn't connecting to it. And the reason you are taking a beating over this, is it has nothing to do with development, so don't post ****ing stupid questions in this forum.

LOL I like the fact that its also **URGENT**. hahaha.
That's why we have the General and Q&A section, for this type of questions. Please, lets keep the development section for the developers who contribute(I am so thankful).
Let's try to keep this clean and organized.
Just forget all networks then reboot and you should be able to connect again.......
Throw your router in your trashcan and buy another one..
or ask your ISP, I think this has nothing, seriously NOTHING to do with bad fw or anything else on the device itself.
(and to be honest, I don't like the "Yo" at the start of the thead, find it out by yourself you irrespectful ***hole..)
There are few rules I'm a fan of, but come on people, simple organization.

Video camera
Been using Liquidsmooth for the past couple of days and I've been getting decent battery life and 95% of the apps I've tried have worked great. I'm seriously considering this for my daily driver. The only thing is the camera. Open camera or other camera apps on play can take pictures, but they can't take video. The apps throw error messages like "this mode isn't supported" when changing bit rate or frame rate or resolution. Basically it seems the app is unable to get any information about the physical video camera from the OS.

Try Vivavideo. Video works with that app. Also get a full catlog of the issue. Use Catlog app to get the log.

I seem to be having camera and WiFi issues. For camera, I can't use apps like Google translate. I get an error "camera has stopped' and it FC's. As for WiFi, it has trouble turning on and off. I usually have to restart my phone, otherwise it says " turning on/off WiFi" forever.
You have to use Open Camera to take pictures, sorry video doesn't work some say vivavideo works. As for wifi don't turn it off and when connecting to a new network hold the wifi notifications toggle and wait for it to connect.

Noticing some things that are causing battery drain. When I look at the Battery usage the apps or services with the highest usage are things like Google Play Store or Browser and Bluetooth. Turning off bluetooth stopped that. I had to Force Stop the Browser and Google Play Store. They both had 'Mobile radio active' times above 2h 30m even though I only had maybe 20 minutes of screen time. I did download an app that took about 30 seconds though. Something about the apps are keeping the mobile radio services going.

I found this alleviated all of my signal problems as well as speed up my data tremendously.
I used this on kitkat but it seems to have much more noticeable effects on lollipop.

I have to link it because it doesn't show up in play store searches for some reason.
Attempting to use the phone while connected to my car bluetooth doesn't use the bluetooth connection for sound or mic. The bluetooth is connected and it says Phone and Media audio are both available. The phone becomes unresponsive and eventually asks if I want to wait or stop.
I have TW4.4 NE1 on my phone. Does that prevent me from upgrading to 5.X?
I know once you go 4.3/4.4 you can't go back....wondering if the same goes for going forward.

-I hate question and answer threads, but I understand and appreciate their purpose. To that end. I must ask. Is 01-29-15 the latest build. If not where could I find those. I've looked so far on android file host and drdevs and g+ liquid.
I'm running 01-29-15 and I don't think people are getting my messages. SMS. Calls go out fine. I use selectel so it could be something with that. I hope I backed up everything I needed. and did a nvbackup.
Sorry if this has been asked, even sorrier if it's been repeatedly asked, but I do search both liquid threads and the other sites to be fair..

I think if you are using SafeStrap you can only flash TouchWiz Roms.

Yes 1-29 is the newest. LiquidSmooth is being rebased from CM 12 to Slim-caf so that Layers will work 100%, so I cannot build until that is done☺. Sorry for any inconvenience. New builds hopefully Monday.

You are absolutely correct. If running safestrap your bootloader is locked down. If you attempt to run anything other than touchwiz BL roms you will brick the phone

Me and the wife both have the Note 5 and I'm curious if anyone has had any issues with the advancedetails messaging and read reports. Sometimes it works great then all the sudden stops working until I turn it on/off in the settings and close out the app. Any ideas?

I too had this problem, just out of curiosity did you and your wife's phone get rooted? If yes or no did you freeze any apps or processes with either titanium or (non root) package disabled pro? Any type of flashing? I noticed once I froze some stuff it suddenly stopped working whenever I texted my brother currently looking into it myself! Feedback would be great to help determine possible problems causing this

Same thing with me and my girl, she has the S6 and I have the Note 5 both completely stock since we love Samsung Pay lol. But sometimes it works great and sometimes doesn't work at all. Like I can send her a text message and it will show delivered and read and then I can send another message a minute later and it will just show the time it was sent.

I use chomp and it all works. Never have used stock to many issues

The read receipt yes the rest no. So I guess it be a yes /no thing. Not really sure how I feel about people seeing me typing.
Example. If a client sends me a message and I start to type, then I decide to check my data when I hit the office my clients might think I am either blowing them off or just not know my products like I should. I rather play it safe and know they don't know enough to check that lol

Dude, that is nothing like advanced messaging. I don't think you even know what it is.
I know this is a thread for the Note 5, but I have the Galaxy S5 with Android 5.1.1 and Advanced Messaging. My sister has the same phone and it is also on Android 5.1.1. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. We both use the stock app and our devices aren't rooted. I believe both phones have to be on LTE or Wi-Fi calling to use Advanced Messaging. It doesn't seem to work on 4G and definitely won't work on Edge. I also feel like Advanced Messaging doesn't work when someone goes over their data limit, but I'm not totally sure. I wish T-Mobile had more documentation and information on the requirements and stuff for using Advanced Messaging. I am usually able to send large photos without a problem, though.

My phone is rooted but hers is not, however I had the same issue before I had rooted my phone, so even with or without root nothing has changed and the "read" feature has a mind of its own and works when it wants to.
Someone just said in another thread that their pretty sure that BOTH phone have to be connected to a wifi or lte network for the feature to work, otherwise if you on 3g/edge the feature wouldn't work. Even though this sounds like a good possability, even when we are both at home and both connected to our wifi the read reports only randomly work. So I have no idea what the deal is.
I try to send videos with viber but most times it fails. The same happens with 2 phones and 2 tablets on my home. When i connect with 4g i have no problem.. So i guess it has to be something with my router or wifi?? Can someone confirm that this problem exists only on me? I can't also send small videos, so it has nothing to do with the size of the file.. Most time i see the circle going full and then starting again the transferring. I have to wait many minutes to finally sent the video or i have to press the X button and resend the video. But this also doesnt give 100% success..

This is not an android issue, it's an issue with your modem or your internet service provider.
This is not the kind of question to be asked here at XDA because there is nothing you can do to the android device to solve the issue. This forum deals specifically with Windows phone and android software development, not issues with your home network. Your issue is not a problem with android so your question doesn't belong here.
