Hello Everyone... I just read some news on my local news source and felt like sharing this. If I did something wrong please be kind with me and let me know i'll delete it :fingers-crossed:
I'll post the whole news here...
"What do you get when you cross an Xbox controller with a five-inch android tablet with beefy stereo speakers? Nvidia's new touch-screen portable gaming system, code-named Project Shield. The hand-held gaming system was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and it could spell more bad news for the Sony Vita, Nintendo 3DS or any other entry in the mobile gaming market. Why? Because it further stretches how consumers can buy and experience video games.
Besides being a complete stand-alone Android gaming system, the chunky controller can also stream games that have been already loaded on a windows PC, providing users are sharing some WiFi router and computer is equipped with a recent Nvidia graphics processor(specifically a Kepler-based GeForce GTX 650 or better). Even hard-core gamers take breaks, right? So now you can carry your games of Assassins Creed around the house with you. Other features include a set of standard game controls and 5-10 hour rechargeable batteries.
The stand-alone mode is based on the JellyBean version of Android OS. An Nvidia representative promised that it was 'pure, unfiltered android that can run anything you can download from the Google Play app store.' Games that have been modified for gamepads and five-inch displays will work better.
One cannot help but notice the potential of this device for playing videos or music, thanks to the clear screen and speakers that are much better than average. Nvidia promises an SD card slot, but will not say how much internel storage the device has. Also up in the air are the final name and the price. All of that will be determined by late spring, which is the earliest consumers will be able to buy one."
Thanks for reading.....gamers get ready for the new level of gaming...

See this awesome video of it's preview....
The video is the first in a series of videos called PC Mondays that showcase the PC-streaming capabilities of Project SHIELD. Steam seems to run Big Picture Mode when connected with Project SHIELD. Borderlands 2 was picked for the demonstration as it is one of the best PhysX games available.

AJ

it seems to be portet to (or developed first with ??)Android to show the power of the new "adreno-GPU" at the MWC.
its already available for Xbox360 (XBLA) and Windows7Phones and hope it will be released for android soon.
Does anyone own the Demo of this game?
here additional some info from the QualcommDevNet where its listed as an adreno project for Android and WP7 Devices/CPU's
SouthEnd: ilomilo
(Qualcomm's developer site)
maybe its time to start a petition if nothing happens?
dbaf14
Not sure it will ever come out ...That's how microsoft works ... Looking for what game looks great than pay a lot so that it only comes out on their devices. (Remember halo)
I would love to see such a game on my DesireHD (after all the adreno gpu used in the DesireHD was the one they used for the demo)
That looks pretty impressive, may set the bar pretty high for android game devs!
still no info about this ?
to bad the developer could earn alot of money with this
and we would have another great game in the market
Has anyone tried to contact the developer?
it's never gonna come out on android. plain and simple
Sent via the power of a unicorn's horn.
goood game thanks
Well, wait and see...
Q: Are you making ilomilo for android? I have seen it run on MWC videos.
A: The version of ilomilo shown at MWC was a tech demo we made for Qualcomm so they could show off their snapdragon technology. However it is possible that ilomilo will be released for portable platforms in the future.

According to the FAQ of Ilomilo.com
So, as Southend hired new programmers and developpers (according to their site), I hope we'll see it on our Android devices because I tried it on my old HD2 converted into an HD7 and I find it really nice and fun to play, bug, ugh, as WP7 hardware is totally outdated, the graphics sucks!
Could'nt Qualcomm release the version Southend made for them on Android, the work is already done, it just needs a little push to get on our market, come on guys XD
But, Southend will soon release Desert Winds (which seems nice but not really my type of game) so perhaps, after that :-/

NICE!! I grew up games like this and, Kings Quest, Quest for Glory, Space, Ace, Dragons Lair. Awesome to see that its out now and in full support of our phone. Awesome news. :good:
Edit: You know what kills me..... our phone is around 18 months old, didnt get much love was overhyped and undervalued. But still gets some great game support and $ony meanwhile has "no plans" to release a sequal. Sure it may not have generated a cash cow that perhaps they were hoping, but with the attention it is still receiving that has to mean something to them........ but as they keep saying.... nop XP2......... it just boggles my mind.....

"Fortnite" on Android is now available to anyone with a supported Android device.
The game is free as always.
Don't go looking for "Fortnite" on Google Play — it isn't there. Here's how to download the game!
The biggest game in the world is finally opening up to everyone on the biggest mobile platform in the world: "Fortnite" on Android is now available for everyone.
When the game originally arrived on Android earlier this year, it was only available to select Android devices — and even if you had a device, there was a sign-up form and a waiting list. No more!
As of this week, "Fortnite" can be played on the vast majority of new-ish Android phones. Here's the full list of officially supported devices:
Don't see your phone and/or tablet on there? Don't fret! The game's maker, Epic Games, says that your device may still work as long as it has the following specs (or better):
-OS: Recommended Android 8.0 or higher, 64-bit
-RAM: 3 GB or higher
-GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher
Interested players can snag the game for Android through this website— if you're reading this on your Android phone and want to jump right in, click this link instead.
Not seeing the game on Google Play? That's because it's not available through Google Play! Unlike most Android games, "Fortnite" is skipping Google's Play Store.
Instead, the game is only available directly through Epic's website — updates come directly from Epic, thus enabling faster fixes.
But the game isn't just skipping Google Play so it can be updated more easily. As a major bonus to Epic Games, all the money made through "Fortnite" on Android goes directly to Epic without having to pay the 30% cut Google takes from Google Play Store games.
"Fortnite" on Android operates very similarly to how the game already operates on iPhone.
Not true, the specs on gpu are way to high.
Fortnite on Android is a joke of the year.
