You have wrong information.. Nexus S support flash player.. on 4.2 jelly bean you only have to install last flash player apk, and it work with stock and other browser..
Go here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html and search for "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives" and then download the last apk..

It's the first up to date Android device you've had, too?
Google/Adobe dropped support for Flash in Jellybean (4.1 and up). Although you can get it to work like MrMat said.
A simple google search could have netted you a ton of results and explanations why Flash didn't work...
Yep had no idea, I was on iPhone for a while. It was always there before so I assumed it was a device specific thing, didn't think a Google search would do much. Thanks though that answers my question.

Try Google Chrome.. Thats got its own built in Flash support. Also, try reading around, Im pretty sure you can install the seperate flash .apk and it works with JB, its just not offically supported in Google Play, but it can be done.. People have had some success installing it on the Asus Nexus 7 with JB 411, so give it a go.
Im still on ICS 404, so cant help sorry.. but good luck

Maybe Boat Browser will do the job? I'm using it on CM10 though, but like it a lot!

Google Chrome has Flash? News to me.
You can Google "Flash for Android apk"

You mean the google search bar at the top? Or google now app? Google search bar is working fine for me...and I think slim uses a special google now app (they have a flashable package on their website)

Try re-installing the gapps package again. It is due to the installation issues of gapps.

Give them all a try and see which works for you best. Cm10 and paranoid android are pretty good of those I've tried
You can't go back to ics since they use different file systems. (Jb is mtd, ics is bml)
You must first go back to stock.

Bro, I think a little more research is needed...
(Forewarning: not being a ****)
Sometimes flashing can go wrong.. maybe you misunderstood directions or didn't read them fully, and things can go wrong really fast.. luckily for us infuse owners, our phone is damn near unbrickable (except yuma's, what a n00b!! Just kidding Yuma! Don't make me drink skimmate)
You need to read, read, read, read and then when you know it blindly, read it again!
Its too big of a gamble when it cones to this type of things.. one mistake and you're out a couple hundred bucks..
Not talking down or anything.. just looking out for ya.. the infuse group we have here is pretty close knit and insanely helpful..
Always read every detail about possible flashes and every small thing.. it can make the difference in a great experience or a paper weight in a drawer somewhere..
Example:
I have two upgrades next month and another in February...
I've got a few different models in mind already.. I'm reading "How To" thread on each possible choice I might make.. that way I have as much ground covered so when I do choose, I can hit the ground running and try and be helpful for other users quicker..
Once again, if that came off rude, that wasn't my intention..
Its powered by Jellybeaned AOKP!
I have read that there is flash player for some other devices with Jelly Bean, but has anyone got flash to work on Note 10.1 JB?
Flash is very important for me and way outweighs any advantage JB brings to the tablet, so I just want to make sure before updating.
Also, is there a reason flash is not supported officially anymore for Android? This has been probably discussed before, but I have no idea why they wouldn't support it. Wouldn't that make flash less and less relevant to modern websites? It's already happening, and I don't see why Adobe wouldn't want to keep web developers from moving away from flash.
Did reuse the flash from my ICS, downloaded a version 11.1.115.17 , now on JB it's working on Dolphin and Internet (= the one from Samsung) both based on safari.
But not on chrome.
Tested on the find-version-flash page of adobe.com.
I dont think chrome has ever had flash working, regardles of what version or what system, as far as i know flash was never implemented, unless thats changed

Pointing out to op, not to test flash installations with chrome, incase he was'nt aware that flash on chrome was never implemented.....would sort of defeat the purpose of testing flash on a browser that never had it implemented, as far as i know, im not upto date on chrome.......you said "not chrome", was just expanding on that........
Sorry if i came across rude before, was not my intent
There is an apk you can download from another xda thread...sorry I don't have the URL with me. It works as good on my 8010 running jb as it did on ICS. I don't think chrome implements flash but most other browsers do. You just install the apk and you will be good to go

Somebody, please make a list of changes that 4.3 has. Appart from the camera and efficient bluetooth search mode or something, I could not see any difference to 4.2.
Any bug fixes, security changes or other things under the hood would be nice.
Thanks.

you kinda named them all, rumors are that this is just to hold off till android 5.0. Google's wants the companies that still haven't updated there phones, to actually update them and catch up. Android 5.0 is suppose to work with more phones than any other version of android. so people who still are running on android 2.3 will be able to run 5.0. RUMORED!

Custom ROMs usually have the modem stripped from the update to make the .zip smaller and also because you can flash them at will. (I have all modems on my internal just to switch modems when I go out of state.)
But as a friendly reminder, please think through how big 4.4.3 was and next time Google search what you're looking for, you wouldn't have been waiting for us to tell you this if you had. "4.4.3 Nexus 5 modem"
Here's the link if you can't find it however. All the best.
