Or, at least root the device so I can reverse tether via USB and then unlock it that way

Do you mean downloading the OTA's from the ASUS website? I just did the update to 10.4.4.25 by downloading it from ASUS and placing it on the internal storage. Then it came up with an "update available" message and I ran it that way. Is this what you mean? This is the only form of updating/flashing I have done on this tablet.

Yes, that's a full rom update. So your wifi showed that it connected to your router. If you tab and hold down on your router connection, then select advance option, is it set "none' for proxy and "dhcp' for network? Also can you "turn off" wifi??
No no, I manually put the firmware update on the tablet via USB. You can not turn on or off wifi on the tablet, it is forever stuck at "Wifi turning on"

OK, you did the full upgrade and it's still not working, I think it's time to give Asus a call. I suggest to get a replacement before you unlock the device.

I got my HTC Sensation, it was already upgraded to the official ICS, everything works except bluetooth. When I try to start bluetooth it just says "Turning bluetooth on" and stays like that for about 10 seconds and nothing happens. Is there any fix for this?
reboot the phone,I think this is a ICS glitch because it happens on every rom I have tried.

I would return it. Could be a hardware issue if the phone isn't rooted /running a custom ROM

Have you done anything on the tablet yet (install apps, settings) or just installed the OTA update. Usually the official OTA is rather stable

I'm pretty sure you can copy the ROM file onto an sdcard and install it from there. Is your tablet unlocked with recovery or just stock?

I think it is unlocked i can do the power on/volume down trick to get in recovery well since i can't store it with usb i must download it from with the tablet right? so i've trying doing that but it gives me an error when i want to start the installation perhaps it's not in the right map. I read somewhere that you must store it in / (before sdcoard) ?

what is the exact command you are using to flash?
also to check if it is unlocked, look in the top left corner of the screen during boot up. It will say:
Code:
This device is unlocked.

Edit: i thought i had the tf300t which is not i have the tf300tg

So I have a VZW S3 on NE1 rooted and running xposed. I am not sure what module it was that I installed but my phone is now stuck with the SystemUI constantly crashing to the point of me being unable to use the phone. Then I, like a moron, Unrooted my phone thinking that would stop the issue. It didn't. I do have usb debugging enabled and my phone connects to the computer. Can I just boot into recovery and use the Xposed-disabler-recovery zip to fix this? will that wreck my phone since VZW is so annoying? Would that wipe my memory? And if that doesn't work what else could I do except pull everything I can off my phone and and reflash the entire thing using Odin?
Thanks a million!

OK, I see then just flash the xposed-disabled-recovery.zip using custom recovery. If you locked with only stock recovery, you may need to do a factory reset,

From stock recovery? That won't make my phone trip the fuse for modifying the system? By the way Thank you SO much for replying.

Sigh that's what I was afraid of. Oh well I'll get going on pulling all of my files off. Thanks so much for all your help.
I removed root via SU, ran root checker to confirm, but I still cannot get OTA updates, get message saying "this device is suspected in rooting"
I can't unroot it any more than I have..
my main reason is the GPS, my phone has the poorest performing GPS of any phone I have had going back to my Google G1, gps will not lock while in a vehicle, cannot use google maps or any other nav.
Im hoping the update will fix it, failing that I will have to send it in for replacement, either way I need it fully unrooted.
Any ideas?

As far as I can tell, a PC is the only way. Make sure you find one with a USB 2.0 port.
Not an option, at all.
You can not turn on wifi, a button from wifi as if it was blocked. I have uploaded the system through Odin several times and it did not help

Your wifi wire might be damaged or maybe a broken mac address. Try letting your phone diagnosed by an specialist. If you can repair on your own cable costs arround 5-10$

Download and flash the same firmware again or use Smartswitch emergency recovery. Don't use the firmware you already have, it may be corrupt.
It's unlikely to be a hardware problem if you haven't dropped the phone or got it wet.
Sometimes the firmware will flash OK but some system files are corrupt so WiFi cannot initiate.

Did you get the firmware from the same place as last time?
I would suggest you install United Kingdom BTU which is unbranded fully Europe compatible and see if that helps. Use Samfirm tool and after flash change language to Polski.
Also, did the WiFi just stop working or was it after a firmware flash?
I downloaded the firmware from Samfirm. Wifi was already turned off automatically but it was always possible to turn it on again. Until now. I think, however, that it will be a technical problem.
