Streaming media help needed!!

Hello everyone,
From many days i have been tring to get a soft so that i can watch live tv on my htc touch viva. I got many softs the problem is no streaming media plays well on my device i mean it stucks a lot and there is not a smooth playback let it be any streaming video it dont plays. Plz help also when i use youtube app when switched to high quality the video loads fully but it stucks and play. Can anyone tell me why this happens may be beacuse of low processor? I have tried spb tv other streaming videos etc plz help

Install libtest and put your stream url and then Connect. When it works the other sofware have a problem. If it isnt work your device have a problem!

Getting a custom rom on your phone might speed things up a bit as well.

we have lots of roms available here.
just find your phone section.

Sound Problem again !!

Hi,
on my first device i noticed that when i watch movies the sound was gone after a few minutes ... then i brought the phone back and get a new one ...
but now with my second sensation its the same... after 2 or three minutes the sound is gone ... i have to close player with taskmanager couse sometimes it crashes then !!!!
does anyone has the same problem or a solution ???

I have never had any problem like that but I would recommend you to try out some other player for your movie. May be its a codec issue...

i tried another player ... same thing !!!!!
i also noticed it when i played with talking tom cat ... after a few seconds or so sound was gone also !!!!!!!!!
thats terrible man ....

htc said its a known issue ... have to wait for update ... damn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did try other players ... but it was the same !!!!
do you think it is different with mobo ??
edit: from now it seems that mobo does a good job .. but i had to set it to software decoding ... hardware cousing sound off again ... further testing !!!

What are your videos encoded as? The ones I load onto the phone are .mp4's and I have no issues using the stock player.

i have the same problem with some video.
Try dice player or Vplayer Pro. These two players have solved the problem for me

I have heard Talking Tom Cat can cause this issue. Try deleting the app and do a reboot by pulling the battery.

[Q] Error on youtube

since 2 day i cannot play any video on youtube or tubemate, wifi or 3g connection, i get error message like, SORRY THIS VIDEO CANNOT PLAY,
i try to wipe all my rom and reflash , im currently with 1.5 rom , but after reset and reflash, same probleme
please help me

Because with wildfire there are some problems with youtube playing in 2.2

I have the same problem with lg optimus 2x (djdroid 0.8 + swiftextreme).

Try updating the YouTube app to 2.2.16. That fixed everything for my Desire -- used to get "Video could not be played" in the middle of playback.

I have this version but it even won't start the video it reloads and reloads and nothing happens. Any other clue?

Okay,i have a problem with sreeming.
Example...if somebody post video on Facebook abd i want to watch,,,,for some reason i cant,just sound and black screen.

Works here. Probably software issu, try to update/reinstall software related to playback (e.g Flash).

Hello guys,
I don't know if its just me or everyone having the same issue when ever i try to watch a TV show using my Oneplus every 15-20sec the screen times out... While watching the show via MX Player.
Is this because of the MX Player or its just my device?
please help me out.

What's the source of the stream? Have you tried doing the following in the settings of MXPlayer?

I've just watched a movie on my OPO through Google's Play Film app, and the phone didn't timeout for the whole lenght of it.

I tried that too , din't work for some reason it times out... no idea why
i flashed SlimSaber 5.0.2 and it works good...

Seems like this issue im the only one facing it right now...

Try a different media player such as vlc?

try with the original video player

I tried its same on all the media player.
Such as VLC , MX , KM player , its not only the player when I record the video the screen times out too...
