To all Apple users... (R.I.P. Steve Jobs)

Hello apple users, I have been an android person since I first got a major OS based phone, but the news of Steve Jobs' death hits me as if i was a part of apple. Jobs paved the way for computers, portable media, and the world of super powered touch screens to hit the market. He was an innovator, and a genius. (Personal note, I feel that they spat on the legacy of Steve Jobs by hiring boring Tim Cook to take over the company, I saw the iPhone 4S unveiling, worst unveiling ever, and I watch them everytime they had one. This one had NO WOW FACTOR, I was not impressed, but moving along...) Steve Jobs was the father of apple, and today, a child has been left on this Earth without his father. Android and Apple have had their back and forths, from which phone is faster all the way down to "Dude, you stole my UI! (SGS with the almost identical UI of an iPhone)" but any android user who says that Apple wasnt a pivotal point in the media/communications milestone is ignorant to say the least. I once again send my condolences out to Steve Jobs' family, the Apple corporation, and the legion of Apple/iPhone/iPod/MacBook users who are mourning his death. No one will do it like he did, and the love, compassion, and enthusiasm he had for the Apple Corporation!
May he Rest in Peace,
Ognimnella

In-depth iOS and Android comparison

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMiY1kSTHZw&feature=relmfu
I almost left Android behind this past week. After watching this video series, I know I made the right choice.
I didn't know that so many features that I consider basic in Android don't translate to iOS. Amazing depth to the series.

Android has covered 61% of smartphone market in US. So should be a breaking news for Apple lovers. And the video was awesome. Really it will give some knowledge to all iOS lovers.

Haha thanks for this - I'll be adding it to my blog about how much the iPhone sucks. Haven't had any good material to work with in a while.

Call to Arms for Isotope244 Fans

Hey guys, not sure if anyone here migrated from Windows Mobile (as I did) or from iOS but there is this fantastic RTS developer called Isotope244 famous for their Machines at War series (Land Sea Air Warfare for those iOS people, technically MaW2) is now at work on Machines at War 3 and so far we're still not seeing any Android love. But, if you look back to an old Twitter question asked last year Isotope244 did seem interested in possibly branching out into Android. I think they haven't seen much interest in Android ports from their fans but I just contacted them on Facebook asking for support and I hope others will as well; who knows, we might have our first truly solid RTS on Android.

So that means 1337likes for port or?

Project ARC. Getting kids/teenagers into the world of development!

Hey there! My name is Josh! I wanted to share some information on a project me and some friends have been working on for a few years now that recently has taken off! It is called aproject ARC Android rom creater's. Pretty much what it is is older guys like me with knowledge on coding and things of that nature. It is a after school/summer program for children and teenagers to learn the art of coding and building custom roms from source! We are currently hoping to expand this program into other states. Me and a friend originally stated it for our own kids and soon all the kids at school found out about what they were doing and learning and as you know kids these days can't live without there phone! So we figured.. since we can not beat them why not join them! Or better yet.. teach them! And that's what we did! I would live to see this go into more states and get more kids involved with it! As some of you may know.. the custom rom era is getting dry and it would be amazing to see these young minds bring more cool crap to the table! So we are currently seeking other like minded people that would love to get the kids and even adults! Into this! We also are currently seeking donor devices for them to learn on as this year for the summer camp we already have 46 students involved! The classes are free so getting devices for them to learn and practice on is a little hard with free classes lol! So if anyone would wanna help in that aspect as well that would be fantastic! Thanks for checking this out and hope to see some people interested!
