Is there a mod or something that replaces HTC's weird multitasking visuals with the stock android one? I'm on ViperXL 3.2.1 with Sense.

I have a question. I love this [[ROM][Sense 4.0][FINISHED] OrDroid 9.0.0 ], but one thing I've notcied is instead of saying 4G up top for the data connection, it says H. Is there any work around for this?
Also, I see people are talking about another ROM that might be better than this. Is this the ROM ViperS 1.1.0 ?
If so, how is it any better?
Thank you
You can flash the sense 4G patch to replace the h.and I have heard by some people that vipers awesome and some have said that they didn't like it.try lighting sense 4. Take care...

Sadly this didn't work. It caused a lot of issues with things being forced closed. I had to reinstall the ROM in order to get the bar back at the top.
Anything else you guys can think of?
Did it say aosp if so you cant use it.thats fir senseless roms.

Hey all,
After finally getting this thing rooted I downloaded cleanrom v5. During the aroma setup menu, I selected for the rom to have the battery percentage displayed on battery icon. To me the way the percentage is displayed is very ugly with its big font and the way it dims the green of the indicator. I'm coming from the evo lte where all the "stockish" battery mods didn't look like this (see screenshot). I searched this forum and only found one mod but it was for the 1.85 firmware. Is anyone planning on or currently working on any battery mods for the hoxl 2.20? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Ummm the firmware doesn't have anything to do with themes?
A ROM is a ROM and a theme for a ROM doesn't just not work because you're on 2.20

Oh my bad.. but I did download it and tried to flash it while running cleanrom and it broke my status bar/system ui

May be incompatible with your ROM
If you could find the images you like you could use a vrtheme zip to flash them
Google it, its extreamly simple to do

This is what I'm using on stock 2.20, give it a try and see if it works for you. I would save a copy of your SystemUi.apk just in case.
I am enjoying the beautious sense 5 theme, but I have been trying to change the lockscreen ring with the one from Steel.apk. However, the image in drawable-xhdpi does not seem to be the one that the lockscreen uses.
For anyone with sense 4 theming experience: Is the lockscreen image in the .m10 file? Or am I just on the wrong track?

Currently you'd have to edit M10 code using VTS to change lockrings

Ah yes, I keep meaning to look into that and keep forgetting. Also I might be able to get it running with Wine. I know .net 4.0 works with wine...

May not be for our phone tho

It was listed under the Viper Themes but it looks like it wasn't for our phones. My fault. Could you or anyone else reccomend some themes that are black and green? Sort of like the Toxic theme listed here:

Magio v5 is a light build. It has no menu button on homescreen.
noob question. what exactly is the menu button on homescreens. I flashed the MOD and didn't really notice anything different.

When on home screen, you can open a menu there. Press the menu key on your device to open/close menu.
To end all confusion on the menu support, this is all it is.. it's a main feature found in ViperXL, KickDroid, And Magio 4.x Roma... Just sun_dream created it freely for the community.. so others could use this mod longs credits given....

If your rom is odexed, then after replacing the system app, you have to delete the previous app's odex file too.
If your rom is deodexed then simple copy would do.

Use a root file explorer (I use ES file explorer) and navigate to "system>app" and there are all the system apks.
So does this meen that it can be added to a ROM as long as credit is given
