Read this- Nevermind. I tried manually installing. That worked. Just never tried that. For those that have no clue. I used root explorer. Found the file,opened it (qpex ) Go into the system folder, then the application folder. I long clicked on gallery2 (it's the only file in that folder), It will ask you if you want to extract the file, Yes. Goto extracted folder, long press on gallery2 and copy it. Go to system/app and copy it, overwrite the old file.
Repeat process for the system/etc folder. System profiles is file name. Replace it on system/etc.
Reboot. It works!

This works fine for me on me SGS3 but not on my Note.
How can i get this for my Note?
I understand this is not the OPs original work, but he makes mention of editing a few of the original files so as to make it functional on the Note.
I installed it via flashing in TWRP, and then extracted each file and replaced the originals in /app and /etc, as instructed. Rebooted, and camera FCed. Slapped my forehead and remembered to wipe gallery cache. Did that. Camera doesn't immediately FC now, but there's no picture. If I try to edit too many options, it FCes.
OP (or anyone who has done anything with this), how/what/where/why did you edit within the original download? Being an idiot, and I admit to it, I didn't nandroid prior to installation and now I'm without camera. A quick response would be appreciated (you'll get a "thanks" too).
*Edit: This is what I get for being lazy. Saw in the original OPs thread that flashing via recovery kills the whole business. Whoops! Just means I'll have to probably wait until the next release of my ROM (Jamies's CM10.1 for the i717) to get camera settings back to normal and start again. I would re-flash the current, but, again. There's the whole lazy thing. lol
If you have any news, I'm still watching the thread here. Just in case.

Note: this is the stock home launcher, not a market app (those blue hotseat icons are my doing)...
ZIPS INCLUDED BELOW FOR BOTH ODEXED AND DEODEXED SYSTEMS.
These are based on Stock (un-themed) MB865 2.3.6. If you are on a custom-themed ROM, this will change some aspects back to stock (like the app drawer launcher icon).
Install zip as per usual:
Bootstrap to CWM...
Wipe cache and dalvik cache...
Install zip from sd...
Reboot will take a bit longer than normal..
**CWM on Boot is always recommended when screwing around with system apps and their workings...
**As for back-up'ing prior to installing - that's your call, but this zip is only changing out the BlurHome2.apk, so you could just go and copy your current BlurHome2.apk from /system/app to your sd card for safe keeping, and pushing back if you choose to do so..
**If using a non-stock launcher, you may need get Moto Home Fix from Play Store first...
The zip files:
Get the DEODEXED Stock (un-themed) BlurHome2 with rotation here: rotatingstockBlurHome2.zip
Remove DEODEXED homescreen rotation with a previous deodexed copy of BlurHome2, for now... I plan on making a removal zip eventually.
Get the ODEXED Stock (un-themed) BlurHome2 with rotation here: BlurHome2RotateODEX.zip
Remove ODEXED homescreen rotation with this: NoRotateHomeODEX.zip
Disclaimer:Though I had seen that ZOMBI3 had made this happen on a couple of other moto devices (Droid 3 being one), I never tried to flash his, nor took any of his files - merely got inspired by his work... So, did some researching that led me to some Moto and Android dev sites and I eventually figured it out...

U do know every rom out for atrix 2 are deodexed. Right? .both mine are. Probably should add it to list for both my roms.just didnt cuz its not something i did myself. Stock rooted 2.3.6 rom which we all use as a base is already deodexed.

Haha.. Thanks, my man. And, I'm getting there on the ROM.. I'm building her up as I go along.. But I'll get to put some real time into it next month. Shoot, we'll probably have an unlocked bootloader by then... Then the possibilities are wide open.. (sigh...)

Not sure if Blaze has the stock launcher or not, try first dowloading Moto Home Fix from the Market...

FYI - it works on stock odexed roms also.
...I'm running an odex test since I had to flash the fxz after my last "incident".
Anybody using these? Does it work ok? I had some issues with editing the AndroidManifest on other apks... And it works fine on mine, so...

Hey guys well i make the screenshot option work properly on Wolfs ROM don't know if someone else do it before so i will share it with all of you because i know that many users like me, like a lot this ROM but also we really want the screenshot function on the power button so here we go now.
This works fine in Wolfs ROM but i think that this should work nice also in the Stock GB 2.3.3 Rom.
For people who are in wolfs ROM download this (if you are using stock GB 2.3.3 dont download it!!) :

Make a back up (Just in case )
Boot into xrecovery and flash it (Only if you are in wolfs ROM!)

Shut down your phone and boot into xrecovery Flash the Screenshot zip,reboot your phone and wait till it boots.
As you can see now you will have the Screenshot Option like this:

Exactly what I have been in the hunt for and also packaged to be pain free. Unfortunately, I have the screenshot function in my power menu but I get the following toast
Error : Unable to save screenshot
mBitmap = null
then followed by a second toast
Screenshot is saved at null
I seem to have all the functionality there except screenshot to launch. Any ideas as I am on Wolfs ROM and ICS Theme v1.1. The only difference is I wasn't able to see or select the Set UID when editing permissions. As I couldn't see it as an option.

Well you need to fix permissions to make it working as i said before try using root explorer or ROM manager to fix it if you use Root Explorer set it as r/w dont know what else could be the problem sorry

So, i'm having 3 little problems:
1- the reboot option on powerboot menu is gone, any idea of what could happened ?
2- i used the file manager to change the permissions, but there is no"special permissions" options, only the options shown on higher part of the picture.
3- the phone got as brighter it can. the bright settings on screen settings cannot be acessed anymore, if i try to change the brightness, i got a message error of the sistem.
any ideas ?

You also may try on your rom and update here whether this mod is working on your rom. Make sure to delete related odex file.
Backup your Secsetting.apk and secsetting.odex fbefore you do so.
As per 01 user this is working OdexRom as well
Please note Ink effect option is also available but it won't work.

I idiot thought he really changed LSZ secsettings and just used it as a mod. Never thought of someone would claim a Mod by copying an old Settings apk. Grrrh...
I will switch to making the mods by myself to be sure - and if I really need the mod.
I've been working on this since yesterday.
I have a working rom with lockscreen shortcuts working now. The stock rom didn't have lockscreen shortcuts for me sadly. I'm pretty sure I have it figured out. I should be able to shed some light on these features and how to get them working later... just need to do a little more testing.

Actually this is not my mod. even i don't know how to create mods since i'm not expert. This is the SecSetting.apk copied from LSC rom. I cheched each and every options against LSC setting with LSZ & LM5. there are no changes. Eventually i thought that we can use this Secsetting to enable Lockscreen short and smart rotation, until a developer prepare base form LSZ. or we have really consider modding an Secsetting in future if Sammy added any new options into setting

Nothing of this is stated in your OP. So a reader gets the impression that you modded it for XXLSZ yourself.
So please correct this in OP - or delete it completely because there is no own work here.

Are you able to push the .apk? I've deleted .odex, but now it fails while copying the file from OP. Currently i don't have the settings menu at all.
For me it copies around 10mb and after that it either fails or the file stays as incomplete ...
I freed some space.

This didn't work. I deleted SecSettings.apk and somehow i failed to push the one from this thread. I've restarted and now i have 10mb free and i cannot enter "Settings" to delete some as the application does not exist anymore.
Any suggestions? I see it as i'm stuck badly ...

1. download aroma file manager on your pc (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646108)
2. reboot to recovery mode
3. mount usb
4. copy over the SecSettings.apk and aromafm.zip to your SD card
5. use aroma file manager to move your apk to the right location
6. reboot

10MB is not sufficient to push Secsetting in to System/app. Delete some Samsung bloatware such as Chaton or delete some live wallpaper (Ocean weather, Aurora etc..)

Yep, flasheable via CWM or TWRP
Compatible with every 4.1.2 rom (Touchwiz), i've dont tested in XXLS2 but i think this build is obsolete due to Battery and Lag bugs.

Just one suggestion for people for their apps in preload/symlink:
Take a nandroid backup to revert to in case of issues
Use a root browser of your choice- I use Rom Tool Box Pro
Copy the secsetting.apk from the downloaded zip file- its in app folder created after unzipping
Browse to the preload/symlink/system/app folder and rename the original secsetting.apk to secsetting.bak (I generally dont delete the original file to revert back in case of issues)
Copy the new secsetting.apk in the preload/symlink/system/app folder and change permission to rw-r-r (644)
Reboot the phone and viola! you have the new setting window with white background!

Please dont thank me since this is not my work . Lockscreen options works fine to me (also Lockscreen Buttons). And about Smart Rotation: I dont know, it shows just Smart Stay. I need to ask to PGLMRO if he can do a XXLT5 based version.
i extract the apk and go to root explorer and select the permissions and function perfect here

i did all of the following and it has not worked i am on ultimate xxlt4 4.1.2 v6

Try deleting the old SecSettings and replace it with the new one with Root Explorer/Solid Explorer or your favourite explorer. Look if you have enough System memory.
And please, don't quote the whole post, just to have it more organized

Most of custom roms are using preload folder bcause SecSettings.apk is a big file. So it's good to prepare preload pack and put it in OP too.

SecSettings.apk in Ultimate is located in preload, this mod use system layout. You can extract the zip and push the SecSettings.apk to Preload\symlink\system\app folder

Requirements:
Celkon A200
Cwm or TWRP recovery installed.
Roms should be in sd card.
Steps
Install it the way i've given step by step without missing any one of them and install it in same order i've given so that the old update may not replace the new update...
1) First download Suvi ROM from link it post #3
2) Wipe system,cache,data,dalvik cache, if coming from ics
3) Download the 2nd update Neptune !0.1 and flash it immediately after flashing the ROM.
3) Now install the 3rd update 11.0 Orion and install it after Neptune
4) Now install 12.0 Pulsar
5) Install the Final Update 13.0 Reah and install it.
6) Now install the Celkona200 mod.
7) Now reboot and Enjoy...
Button LED : it makes the soft key led lights to blink if you've got any missed calls or messages.To activate it go to button led and go to last option for selecting the file where a list of 3 files appear. Select the third file and press ok.
OTA Updater: Updates your devices reularly with the new releases of the rom.

no buddy..tis working on my device...may be you have kept flash to automatic mode...try rechecking it once.

Yes, its working but during touch to focus shot its not working bro....
Yes i agree with imkumar during touch to focus flash is not working please fix it bro, this is only the bug.

yes..the flash on focus not working.. also how to change the status bar to look like 4.2..
mine shows torch, camera and reboot buttons and settings..
no flip like settings like in 4.2

Such a great ROM, but found some bugs other than those said in the past:
Removing homescreens in 'Edit Page' gives a FC
Some apps are not working so it needs to be reinstalled
Missing mobile TV app
Will look for some more, but still a good job mate. :good:
