Hello...this is my first topic...i want to change my status bar icons (like battery, wifi etc) and i use rom toolbox pro...i open rom toolbox and i go to interface>status bar icons...when i choose an icon to change it says that <<change successfull>> and i press reboot now... after reboot my status bar icons had not changed...i tried both fast and normal reboot but dont change anything...please help...(sorry for my bad english)

It all depends upon the systemUI.apk
Anyway ICSorJB decompiling odexed apks are hard thats why UOT supports till GB and i would gess its same with Rom Toolbox Pro

I tried to install it in my miro... when i press my home key it shows a black screen only notification bar is visible . thread said to clear the data of home from apps in settings . But there is no Home or Xperia Home in all apps tab...

Alright guys, so today I rooted my Xperia Tipo ST21i and I'm using Nova Launcher because I cant unlock my bootloader, and everything is fine, nice but Status bar is ugly I WANNA CHANGE IT.
I tried all status bars on google store, but every bar is ugly and buggy, crashes a lot so any solution?
search before posting is the key to ur answer on xda......key is on your fingertips.....use it and goto themes ans apps section many themes system ui have been posted by zoldyck......

Instructions for manual installation on Xperia ICS firmware MDPI devices:
TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK !!
UNINSTALL ANY PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED QuickPanelSettings.apk BEFORE CONTINUING !!
1 - Download attached SystemUI.apk and put it on your sdcard
2 - Download attached v7.1_SystemUIPreferences.apk and put it on your sdcard
2.1 - Rename it to SystemUIPreferences.apk
3 - Using Root Explorer copy both files to /system/ (mount /system as R/W)
4 - Change both files permissions to rw-r--r--
5 - Long press on SystemUIPreferences.apk and select Move
5.1 - Paste SystemUIPreferences.apk on /system/app/ (replace if asked)
6 - Long press on SystemUI.apk and select Move
6.1 - Paste SystemUI.apk on /system/app/ (replace if asked)
7.- delete the systemui.odex file from ur /system/app/ directory
8 - Reboot you phone!!
backup your original systemui.apk and systemui.odex file in case if you want to revert it later

tips:-
1. long press the 1st tab in tabbed UI [third screenshot] to edit info about urself
2. pull down the status bar n press the menu key on ur device and select SYSTEMUI PREFERENCES to edit your status bar
3. in the background opacity select 100% and in notifications area opacity select custom image.... it looks really cool
4. u can even change the carrier label
5. uncheck 'Show Tabs' if you want toggle buttons n slider controls on single screen
6. u can even edit status bar n notification area transparency
[credits] serajr for the original mod

Edited: i think battery and signal icon it's to big, maybe you can use mdpi or reduce value of dip on statusbar.xml

Are you sure, if use GPS, status bar not force close?
I tested this mod on Xperia J, works in 100%
But there is gps bug.

On tipo dual shows the signal of the first sim only and the switch sim button dont works. But its a nice mod tnx...

i dont know...... i didnt experience any bug in this mod.... but some users are saying they have gps bug... u can try urself

Guys !! I created Samsung like statusbar for Xperia miro/tipo devices with different battery color(ICS blue, Green,Orange,Red) levels. I spent so many hours to modify smali files and xml files, and png files.

REQUIRED:-
1. Rooted phone
2. Root Explorer
PROCEDURE:-
1. Download SystemUI.apk and then copy (your phone must be rooted/using Root Explorer) to /system/app.
2. And paste it, just replace
3. Set for permissions as RW-R-R and reboot your phone.
Note:
Before doing anything make sure that you make a backup, because I am not responsible for any damage that will occur.

It's my stamina mode indicator which i modified. Same thing with the battery indicator with percent inside [I did some editing there too]. Oh maybe you missed my messaging app icon. Look, that looks different too. It's actually quite easy to modify status bar icons for apps. You should try it sometime.
