my mobile is getting restarted often. i had given my mobile to samsung service centre, they updated firmware and returned it but the same problem continues even now, it will wipe all my sms contacts, apns, and get factory reset.kindly provide me a solution for this irritating problem

one of the member on xda also had the same problem.just give it to the service center.they will replace the mother board.the amazing part is that he got a mother board with internal storage of 14gb....
send it back to the samsung service center
tell them still rebooting and resetting and most likely its motherboard as you have heard from others
make sure you have everything stock on it before returning
worst thing is 4 days b4 warranty got over one of my friend told me its software problem but i dont know with which firmware to flash, anyone pls help me out

Hello , I just registered to help you , I had your same problem then I fixed it by installing ics .. its cool now no restart no lags no bugs except a bug in the camera .. but its OK 2 me

I am facing a very weird problem in my phone, i am on MIUI and my phone is not able to detect many apps from the
market like facebook, go launcher, Instagram etc etc. i have downloaded the .apk from outside and using them.
But when it comes to facebook after installation it says that : "Application not installed" , i tried many time from but
no success i tried for apks downloaded from different different sources...Can someone help me to get rid off from this problem.
man i suggest you to do a double wipe in recovery for both cache in the main menu and dalvik cache in the advance menu
if still got the same problem ,do you have rom toolbox ?
have you ever edited the LCD DENSITY ?
the default should be 240
i tried to change it before and led to lot of apps disappeared from market due the lcd density changed as i guess market will detect your lcd density to judge which app available for you
or
u have just flashed a wrong version thats not for your phone

My phone's internet connection is not working properly since 2 months ....nothing is downloading and surfing is too slow....at samsung care they advised me to format my phone and software update.....but already i have switched between froyo nd cm7 roms but nothing improved....is this a hardware problem ...? I thought my galaxt R was dead when it was not turning on. so I kept my mobile one day idle then I tried to stwich it on it was turned on.
then onwards if I take the battery out the same problem contnued Is there any solution for this.
Can you elaborate what exactly happened, i am not able to understand you !!

Buddy It is sad to see you facing problem with your device. Can you tell exactly what's your problem. What I understand from your post is whenever you remove your battery and plug it back your mobile is not turning on. You have to keep it off for 1 day before you can turn it on successfully. Is that what you are trying to say buddy?

I was using official rom not rooted one till yesterday.
I installed ICS yesterday guessing that it would solve the problem but the problem remains same & it became worst than ever before.
I am going to install the original firmware once again but I am not getting the proper link to download it. Could you please just give me the link to download ginger bread 2.3.6 for the Saudi Arabian Region?
& I think there must be a problem in boot sector. Whenever I remove the battery and plug it back to it, it takes time to turn it on at least 10 to 24 hours.
One more thing my laptop is detecting the mobile even my mobile is turn off.

i download and install cm 10 beta 2 by invendor. in that rom my all apps are minimizing automatically. i thought this is a bug of this rom .
than i go back to my previous rom cm 10 alpha 6 . after that i notice that this problem is still here.
than i restore stock rom by cwm.
still i am having this problem.
plese help me guys this is very annoying..

Try having a check on the Home button. If its kinda jammed then whatever you open, it will get minimized. When I had my old Samsung phone, I encountered with this issue at a time, and when I pressed the Home button slightly hard and then released, then it started to work normally.

Hello,
I have installed and used the xda dev app on my android docomo samsung since 3weeks but, 2 days ago the app doesn't show me anything.
I cant see new topics and even the topics i'm following doesn't show up.
I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app without any succes.
Is there anything to do in order to have the app working properly?

So whst i did know?i was using old version,and i searched for newer,I got!. So i installed it and cleared all problems.
So fast rush and download new version xda app...

Searching would have told you that we are working on the forums and it is causing issues with the APP. There have been dozens of threads about this.
