Hey guyzzz
I want help regarding rooting in following categories of my htc explorer
1.While unlocking bootloader process or usually also when I select fastboot my phone searches for images and says no image found and it does not boot into fastboot
2.While trying super one click it stucks on step 7...why and how to fix it?
3.when booting into recovery, my phone says that cannot open cache recovery command....
Plz help in all these.
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks in advance
Super one click will work with unlocked boot loader phones. By the way sure you have all drivers installed. And open command prompt in platform tools folder in android SDK folder and make sure the recovery is in the same folder. Open command prompt in the folder by using shift +right click.

I have all drivers installed and super one click does not works... I have tried universalAndroot
And Gingerbreak but not seems to work...
After some more searching through Google I recognised that I have read only file system... Help me If you can to change it and thanks in advance

Open battery. Press power and hold volume key down till boot loader menu appears. Connect phone to PC. Then go to fast boot. It will show android 1.0 on your p.c . if yellow triangle present. Ask again. Now follow jaggy's procedure.

When that search ends press power button and go into fastboot then unlock bootloader and flash twrp check twrp thread in android development section
When you boot into bootloader it searches first so until it searches you can't press anything as it wo.t be recognized
If you still can't go into fastboot throw it in bin.

That is normal! When u press that key combinations and go into bootloader mode and select fastboot! What happens? If u see reboot bootloader, reboot, poweroff then its alright that is the fastboot mode!

hello guys,
i have recently got my phone back from HTC and it came on factory reset which means S-ON so i had to do the Juopunutbear S-OFF method and it formated my sd card but i can not format it on my phone. if you are having this problem look bellow for a easy fix.
MAKE SURE YOUR USB IS CONNECTED AT ALL TIME!!
basically download the HTC Sensation/XE/4G Super Utility tool and this recovery image both links will be bellow
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668276
http://www.4ext.net/ddl/pyramid/recovery.zip
once downloaded extract both zips on desktop then open up the utility tool
press 3 and follow instructions
when it says download recovery img basically put the recovery.img that you downloaded and extracted into the tools folder (only that) which will be on the desktop
once done press enter on the cmd prompt and complete the utility tool prompt
it will reboot phone
then switch off phone and press power+down and it should reboot to bootloader
press down untill you are on recovery and press the power button
your phone will reboot into the recovery and it will say preparing boot for 1-3 minutes and it will put your phone into safe mode
then you click on usb mount thingy
and there will be a pop up to format your sdcard on the computer
YOUR DONE!!!
Give me a thanks button for me, kgs1992 and madmaxx82 on mine and there threads
I'm not currently having this problem but thanks for sharing. I may have to do this in the future
Very good guide! For a moment I thought that my sd-card was dead but I got some support from JBear irc.

I have problem with my sdcard not mounting, therefore I can't even format it... So far this doesn't work for me. But I will try it again on my home PC, tho.. I think my USB ports at work are shaky
i m using sense 4.0a ... phone works normal, boot fast boot normaly, but not reboot into recovery... plz help
If you can boot your phone in the fastboot mode, then you can flash recovery again...
Just boot your phone up using the Power + Vol. Dwn buttons combo, then at the white screen, connect your phone to pc, and flash a recovery.img file..
U should be fine..

yes you can... You need to use the command "fastboot flash update update.zip"... All you have to do is rename ur rom zip file as update.zip... just like you flash a recovery...

[GUIDE] Juopunutbear S-OFF NO VOID WARRANTY| ROOT
☺ A great starting point for all new Sensation owners ☺

One advice from a long time HTC customer ... get the device back to seller when you still have a chance and change it for something else, try to avoid HTC at all cost. If you stay with Sensation and HTC mark, i wish you strong nerves. Thats about all.
My sensation had been great thanks to the development here on xda! No complaints here.

if you have 4ext recovery installed enable smartflash from it and then install the rom again
otherwise flash the boot.img of the rom manually

Flashing the "boot.img"
Put the"boot.img" in your "C:\Android" (or wherever your adb and fastboot are located)
Shift right click in the white space on that folder
Select "Open command window here"
If you can boot into your phone, do the following
Type in: adb
Type in: adb devices (This will give you a list of devices attached to your computer, so if your phone is correctly attached it should show up.)
Type in: adb reboot-bootloader
If you cannot boot your phone, do the following
Code:
Disconnect your phone from your pc
Power off your phone
Remove the battery
Insert the battery back in
Turn on your phone while holding BOTH the POWER ON and VOLUME DOWN button
Connect your phone to your pc again
Your phone will (re)boot, wait until you see a white screen which says "FASTBOOT USB"
In the command windows on your pc, type in: "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Wait until it's done flashing
Type in: "fastboot reboot"

Use the lg tool to unbrick. Your gonna have to put ur phone in download mode and reinstall ics. You lose everything tho. There is no revovery for ics, as of now, just root.

OKAY I SOLVED THE PROBLEM TECHNICALLY. I BASICALLY JUST RELOCKED THE BOOTLOADER AND THEN RAN THE RUU. SO THANKS FOR THE HELP YOU GUYS

OK you need to download newest twrp boot img ...put phone in fastboot mode fastboot flash recovery (recovery name) fastboot erase cache
Fastboot reboot
Go into twrp recovery mount SD put new ROM on SD ... flash ROM
Erase both caches
On your CPU go to the zip open it right click on boot IMG choose extract to where you have your fastboot.
Phone in fastboot
Fastboot flash boot ( your boot IMG)
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot reboot
Wait a few min if no boot put back in recovery erase both caches manually then reboot system.... will work

Download and install HTC sync on your PC... Sounds like your missing drivers... Installing HTC sync should give you your drivers...
Sent from my One S using xda premium
Just remember to close HTC Sync before attempting to use adb/fastboot, as HTC Sync likes to mess with the adb connection.
