these things will be sold before they hit the shelf, you probably wont be able to see it before you buy it for quite some time... stores have return policies for a reason...
Walmart usually gets in their products very early in the day like 2-3AM. Some Walmarts are open at 6 or 7 AM as well as 24hrs. Call before you go and good luck. I got mine on Amazon at midnight
I ordered a TF101-A1 at Walmart.com this morning (~1am) and put rush shipping on it...should be here by Thursday. I also went to Fry's and picked up 2 of the 3 that they had in stock this morning. No docks anywhere online or retail.
New contract and upgrade price are going for $99. If you haven't bought it this is the time to buy it! or if you bought at Best Buy within the last 30 days go get a refund for the difference!

You should but they would probably want to charge you a restocking fee of $35. Maybe they can price match it for you. Best Buy offers great sales from time to time and they don't charge restocking fees so I buy my phones there instead lol
Just got back from Best Buy with an extra $50. I like their 30 day matching program. Thanks for the info.

Got my infuse from wal-mart today. showed them the online add from best buy and they gave me my phone for $99.
I bought my infuse about 2 weeks ago, I always buy my phones from bestbuy but for some reason only AT&T would upgrade since my actual date was June 26th. So I went back to AT&T and told them bestbuy had a special for the infuse,at the time they were selling for $150, which AT&T gladly matched. The girl who was cashing me out told me accessories were on sale, buy 2 get 1 free, I told her I didn't have any cash for that right now. A few minutes later she tells me to go pick out a case, so I did ($35) she than walked across the store and grabbed a set of 3 screen protectors and a car charger, she than asked me which id want, a blue tooth head set or a set of panasonic wireless blue tooth ear buds, I took the ear buds. Next she tells me "shhh, don't tell any body" the ear buds are sick, ill be streaming music at work walking around the building why my phone is at my desk, not too mention I can pause, play, skip, and answer my phone and they retail for $100. The stuff I for for free was worth more than what I paid for the phone, so id feel a little guilty going back in and asking for an addition $50 price match, but I might. Lol

Went to Best Buy yesterday, got my $50 refund and bought a 16gb class 10 microsd card they have on sale for $39.99.

I bought my Infuse 4 days ago for $199 at ATT. I went to att store and told them i'd be returning it and going to BB, and they gladly knocked $100 off my bill and gave me a free case....pretty cool
I ordered mine from costco online so I could have 90 days to exchange for the Attain if it does come out soon... I just emailed them to see if they would match the price. I'll let you guys know what happens.

Rumor is now going around that BB is shipping their 200k units back to HP. Guess I'll find out in the morning if I can find one anywhere (although there are plenty of other stores that could have it).

office depot for 129.99
I just bought one at office Depot. I hope they will price match for the 99 dollars. I better not get screwed on a device I never thought about buying until it was practically free. If android gets on this thing I'd be ok with the 130 price tag.

walmart has it listed at $99 for 16gb unit and $149 for 32gb unit. Online stocks are sold out, but you can site to store if a store in your area has one.
I just went to BB in Vegas and was told they are sending them all in to HP.
So I called office depot and everyone is sold out in Vegas. Bit should get shipments in Monday before opening.

Spent about 5 + hours instores in SoCal to score one. Zilch.
Walmart: Went to 2 separate stores. First store mentions having two items which sold Friday night. Second store, none in stock. Manager says something about HP instructing corporate to ship all stock back to HP.
Office Depot: 2 stores. Both sold out by 10 am (Sat). Manager in one store confirms no chance of restock.
Staples: Sold out in 2 stores by 9 am.
Best Buy: 2 stores both displaying signs of item being sold out.
Costco: 2 stores. Again one store manager confirms receiving email last night from Costco corporate to send all stock back to HP.
The less said about my online buying tries the better.
Got mine at bestbuy $100. Bestbuy was going to send inventory back, but at the end hp decide to just sell what was left

I wouldn't get in a panic about this. HP has a million of these units to dump, so they are going to end up somewhere - and for cheap. It's just that right now confusion reigns. It will all get sorted out.

I just called the Customer Service of AT&T with the argument that I pay $100 bucks extra for the SGSII Skyrocket aditional from other customers that bought it from $149.99 only. After a little talk with the rep. guess what? They refound me $100 dollars to my account as a credit ... I have to say that I'm more than happy! For you guys that try this, good luck!
I hope more people can take advantage of this. I happen to live in a market that won't see LTE until the 1st or 2nd quarter next year and only paid $149.99 from a local corp. store. They should price it the same everywhere (corp stores that is) imho...
Just picked mine up for $149 @ best buy...told them about the att store and online then they price matched. And no $35 restocking fee

I've called 3 times now and gone back in the store. I've been denied this every time. Any tips on what I should say? I am a 20 year customer with 7 lines and internet. You would think that they would treat all their customers the same.

Strange... I called At&t on Monday and asked if I could upgrade early (I wasn't eligible for an upgrade until January 15th). Not only was I told yes, but I was given the $150 price for the Skyrocket. And in my zipcode it was coming up as 250 online.
Plus, I was told they will waive the upgrade fee. (I still have to call now that I have the phone to make sure that happens).
All I did was just ask nicely for the upgrade and the rest just happened. Now I've got my phone and I couldn't be happier.

I bought mine for $149.99 also. I called AT&T and complained about the fact that I had to pay $249 when others in CA or NY have only to pay $149.
After 30min on the phone the answer was still "no we can't do anythinbg the best price I can offer you is $239" When I told her that I could buy the same phone for $199 at walmart or Radioshack she said she was sorry but could do more.
I told her it was sad because at least Verizon and T-Mobile are not changing their price depending of the city and then I asked to talk to a manager.
The manager was "not available" but I got the promise he will call me asap. One our later, I got a phone call, the price was accepted, $149.
It was worth the time
Am I the only one who would rather pay the $100 than spend 30+ minutes on the phone with an ATT CSR?
Hmm my local ATT store asked me what area code showed 149.99, but ones I knew that should have showed 149 seemed 250 and he said he cant bring down the price.

If you bought it from Bestbuy, just print out a screen shot of the AT&T website showing $149 and they will refund you the $100. I attempted only 1 time and had no problem.

Tried this with 2 different reps.... no dice.
Before my upgrade, my account expires next month. Told them ill return the phone, and move to verizon as "it seems your company has a $100 mark up" on this device.

I just went to Bestbuy and showed them the price on my phone. So he looked on their computers and it said $250 and that it was because my zip was in Oklahoma City on my phone(I used the zipcode a few posts back). I just said my parents moved out there, and after this semester of school I would be moving too. I just said I didn't want to return it and have to have my parents buy it and ship it to me.
He asked a manager and they approved it. Probably didn't want to lose store numbers on contract renewals and bit the hundred bucks.
I would advise saying you didn't want to have to return it and buy it there if your zip is different, they want to keep their numbers up.
My boy TimmyB44 on AndroidCentral put me on to the fact that according to the local RadioShack ad in todays newspaper, they are offering the Atrix 2 for free. So if you got your Atrix 2 from Best Buy within the last 30 days you can get them to match the price and get a refund. Having just gone through the process let me let you know what happens.
First thing you want to do is contact your local Radio Shack and see if they have the phone in stock, once you find the store that has them, notate their phone number and call Best Buy at 1.800.BEST.BUY and request a price match. They will ask you for the store phone number so they can confirm they have the phone in stock and it's price. Once they do so they will submit the price match and you will be credited the difference (in my case, $49.99) within a week to 10 days. Make sure you get your case# just in case, at least you'll have something to follow up on should you not see the credit in that timeframe.
Will already be free at bestbuy after Thanksgiving. Ad already out. Sgs2 will be 49.99 at radio shack though,so my atrix2 will be returned anyway.

Yep, sure will, will that help those who bought theirs prior to the 24th of last month? Not at all. Not only that, but Best Buy does not price match for items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving. So hopefully it stays free after the Black Friday sales so they can get price matched too.
I just did what you said and I called the phone number and they told me they prefer doing the price match at the store. They also want you to gave the receipt and after that they processed it and they returned all of my money. So my phone is was completely free. No tax no nothing. Free. Thanks for the tip!!! E

They didn't need my receipt as it was in my account electronically, they even emailed it to me the day I got it. So hopefully the same happens here, full refund.
Would this apply if I bought from AT&T? (In AT&T they matched my price to Bestbuy's $49.99)

I was super surprised that they gave full refund. I got my receipt from customer service so it worked out well. Did they give you your money back yet or is it being processed?

They should be able to. If not, then just return it because you're within 30 days to cancel everything. Then go to RadioShack and buy it. lol.

It's being processed, she said it would take a week to 10 days. I'm in no rush to get it so I can wait. I will let you know how much they refunded though.

Except that AT&T charges a $35 restock fee. You'll waste more than the $15 in gas.

Will Radio Shack or Best Buy be able to handle making sure that I don't lose my unlimited data plan? I picked up my Atrix 2 last week (even knowing about the other deals coming) because to me that's more important.
(I also tried to get the AT&T store to match the Best Buy $49.99 price on Friday, but they wouldn't. I did get them to forego to the $18 upgrade fee, at least.)
I've got 30 days, so can take the Atrix 2 back to AT&T, but fear that Radio Shack or Best Buy will screw with the unlimited data, and then it'll be more hassle than this is all worth to get it straightened out.

I don't think they will screw the unlimited data part. They don't change anything in your plan. They just change your phone and change the dates for when you can upgrade again. I am sure if you ask them it should be fine.

Then realizing of the RadioShack price (free) I decided to ask AT&T for a refund. I went to the AT&T store and they said they couldn't refund me with money but they would put it towards my cell phone bill.
So that's is, got my phone for free!!!

I purchased an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 on October 19th and exchanged it for an Atrix 2 on November 4th for $49.99. I called 1800bestbuy about the price match.They looked up my purchase and told me since I purchased it in store that I would have to go to a store for the price match. I drive to the store and they called Radio Shack to confirm the price. They then spent 45 minutes trying to do the price match. Computers were very slow and kept going down and freezing up. Finally the BB mobile manager came over to help. They finally said I could not price match because I was past the 30 days. The 30 days started from October 19th and not November 4th. My receipt said I had until December 4th for a return. I was not happy at wasting gas and time to drive to the store, since I should have been told this over the phone when I called the 800 number. I complained to 1800bestbuy and they requested a giftcard for me, I guess I may try calling another store and see what they tell me over the phone.

The phone csr was wrong, I bought my phone in store as well and I got my refund processed while I was sitting at home in my boxers. But the store manager was right, the 30 days doesnt start over when you exchange a phone, the 30 days starts on the date of the original purchase. At least you get a $5 gift card out of it, now ur phone was only $45!

I can also confirm that this worked with the AT&T store. I actually bought mine originally for $99 a few weeks ago. I brought in the Radio Shack ad (they insisted on needed the actual ad--internet price doesn't count) and they've already given me a $100 credit to my account! Free phone (except for a bit of tax)!
