what recovery do you have?
Install 4ext recovery then put the cm10 zip file into sdcard ... Boot into recovery format everything except sdcard(external memory)...
Then go in tools and enable smartflash ...
Aftr enabling smart flash install the zip ..
Clear dalvic cache n reboot .... Try this if u still cnt get the rom to run try flashing latest firmware 3.32/3.33 n follow the whole process Again

I rooted it. It ıs unlocked but s on. At the last day I downloaded ten roms but 3 of them flashed. But I tried I tried and now the worst. I stays only HTC screen. I flash rom in 4EXT. It says successful. But system is not starting. It stay at HTC screen. My phone is now cant be use, flushed.I can enter the EXT4 restore successfull but not start.Is it brikced what can I do ?
Enable smartflash in 4EXT then do the restore (remember everytime you reboot to recovery you should enable smartflash just before flashing)
Edit: also you should always always enable smartflash when flashing a Rom or kernel

yes because you are S-ON so you need to enable SmartFlash in 4EXT
enable smartflash in 4EXT then immediately flash the rom ..if not working still then do the extra 1 step from the guide ive mentioned earlier
present at 4EXT -> tools-> enable smartflash

hi are you S-ON?
if yes then you have to enable smartflash from 4ext recovery
if you don't have 4ext see here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861 (only step 2)
Hello experts,
Yesterday I tried to root my HTC Sensation XE! First I unlocked this device using the htcdev then u found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668276 and i followd the instructions and finished. In the HBOOT menu this device is still listed as S-ON but i downloaded the Rootchecker app and it confirms that the device is routed.
I am trying to update to the jellybean 4.1.2 using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782009.
The cyogenmod bootscreen is stuck loading over 10min so i assumed that i am doing something wrong, so i restored it to the original ROM using clockworks.
If someone has any ideas please feel free to comment and remark.
Thanks =)
Use 4ext with smart flash on,
What it seems to me is with clock work it doesn't write the boot IMG. With that being said it would be stuck in a boot loop.

I had no sucsess .
let me explain the procedure.
First i am turning off my phone and remove the battery.
I boot into HBOOT by pressing the volume down and power.
Acess the recove, in which the 4ext menu appears.
I select wipe phone, and after i select delate chace and dalvik
Then i select the install from sd > chose the zip.
i select the CM10 zip and install it and after i select the gaps too.
reboot the phone.
When rebooting the phone stucks the cyanogenmod boot screen
Okay. I had this same problem you are having when I first started getting familiar with flashing ROMs.
If you correctly installed 4ext recovery, go into your settings and select "smart flash on" this will allow you to flash a ROM correctly with out having your s-off. Try that and let me know.

maybe there is a hardware problem on ur phone before going to repair it from the service center well flash it with the RIFF BOX its a universal flasher that can flash almost every bricked phone no matter its hard brick or soft brick or fully dead.
Did you try the software version 1.43.720.2 available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225776?
In that case, working flashable zip's that don't bootloop are available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40385554&postcount=76
The download links for the zip files provided by OP misses some necessary config files in the /system/etc folder due to which the ROM doesn't boot. I patched it up, and uploaded it (second link).
Hi,
Can we flash this stock rom using twrp recovery? Or should we use only cwm recovery?

Most of the time there is no need to re-flash firmware. Did you wipe data beforehand? maybe you can try another build (the from an earlier/later date). This might help.
Sometimes a complete wipe is needed...
Hi,
Sometimes when moving from one ROM to another a complete wipe and format of all partitions (except sdcard) is needed in order for it to work. Have you wiped and formatted all your partitions before flashing the ROM? I use Titanium pro to backup my apps before doing this.
You should be able to do this with any of the recovery programs. 4EXT is really good and easy to use for this. Also, if you don't already know this, you should flash the correct GAPPS for your ROM after you install the update. That way you will have everything you need on your first boot after your flash.
Good luck!
when i updated my firmware from 3.32 to 3.33 i got stuck at the same screen. Just booted to recovery and used 4EXT Recovery touch to wipe cache and dalvik, after that everything was fine
