Also, what kernel are you running?? if you switched kernels that could be the issue. kernel has to support BLN.. Not home until Sunday.. will upload rom again with md5 then...

I am using the kernal that came with the rom (The entire rom is completely untouched from when I started running it, aside from the usual google apps and a few personal apps, but nothing that caused issues with cm10).

OK. I am uploading a new build with md5. Will post links later when I get back to my hotel room.

I have noticed something I find a little weird.
Media server is taking lots of CPU and keeping my phone awake even though the screen is off with not many apps running, I limit background apps to 4. Media server goes crazy when I reboot my phone and randomly through the day even with minimal use.I have seen this behavior with slimbean as well. The pics from BBS is after a reboot I turned the screen off for 20 mins then took screenies. I'll take more screenshots after a full cycle. Or If you want to take a look at the battery stats. Logcat provided as well.

EDIT
I see you put up Jan 30 build, im going to reflash and go through a full battery cycle and post any abnormal results.

Will this be the same build as the one that I am running? (as in, will I be able to compare my md5 to this new one once it's uploaded?)

I have had many issues with the sound on the blaze, it seems to be awful quiet on custom roms. Does this have these issues?

Well I flash ac!d audio over all my ROMs and the sound is louder I'd say. But this media server problem persists even If i dont flash ac!d.
Anyone know what media server is exactly I've looked on Google and lots of people are having the same problem some explain media server differently than others so I'm a little confused as to what it really is/does.

Another issue...the phone app says its uninstalled when I click it for both last build and your new Jan 30 build? I can receive calls and call people through my contacts but the phone app is gone from the app drawer and when I click the shortcut on home it just says app is uninstalled. What?

Works fine here. Phone.apk is in the rom and installs when flashed. sounds like a bad flash or something. Looking into the media server issue

Do you have an md5 for the latest build? And would a dirty flash (only dalvik cache wipe) be alright, coming from the 1/26 build?

Yes you need a bln app.. I use BLN Free and it works fine

Just an update... Have a new build I am working on with all the new changes that cyanogen made. Now using the audio and display caf variants.. Build runs but is very sluggish with same issues as before. No data, camera, mms and such.. will follow cyanogen's commits and some of the other forums that are working on this too. Mainly jeffakajeff in the t989 forum and the roger_n in the I727 forums..

I'm using it and everything is running fine. getting on average 17-22 hours battery life with moderate use

Has anyone had trouble with tethering on this rom? I am unable to tether via wifi, bluetooth, and usb connection. I'm running the lightning zap kernel, fwiw.

The built in WiFi tether worked fine on the stock kernel when I used it. I didn't use it with Zap.

I advise please do not install this onto your SU760 as this rom is ment for the P920 i would have to remake this into a V20F if you would like to use it or you could use XBSA's V20F ICS themed if you wanted a rom with ICS themeing ported. The link for XBSA's

anything i can do to try and fix this?

Are you running a custom kernel or stock from the rom? Because alot of Kernels like iblueminds focus on battery life. I do notice that sometimes mine heats up a fair bit only if im using it for a long period of time other than that its ok im still running on stock thats in my rom. I will hopefully have my kernel working correctly soon so i will be able to see how good battery and all that is with a custom kernel.

It has tiny font cause I set its density to 200dpi by default - cause its given me best experience , if u dont like it, u can set the build.prop, at the density line to 240 and everythig should be ok (or flash another font I provided to have thicker font...other than that, I have no issues except ones from OP

I had no problems with installation. I experienced slight lag while scrolling apps, but I'm sure the Rom just needed to cook some more before I started messing with stuff lol. I loved the tiny font, the settings menu scrolls like butter and the response time for bringing up the multitask menu is amazingly fast.
Really really nice rom!!! Love the message app.

a few times a day typically - so its just me experiencing this, eh?
@MatisyahuSerious haven't had that problem. I deleted all my music but i tried test tones for ya. No error though the test is only 5 seconds.
Does it stop in the middle or at the begining?
Could be a corrupt file?
And as for the lag in the app drawer I mentioned earlier, haven't had the problem since i jumped back into the rom.
I love the theme.
Thanks.
Love it
I am loving the rom however It is not allowing me to download a lot of my apps from the playstore. I recently wanted to load my lose it app but it tells me that my device is not supported. What does the play store see the phone as? Thank you in advance.
Edit build.prop and change dpi to 240 or you might be able to do it from the actual settings menu.
That's weird because I thought I would have issues with the dpi and the Play Store but I do not. I wonder why others have it

Okay... I don't know what to do anymore...
I have a problem.. It happens with EVERY Jellybean ROM I use on this phone...
While the phone is charging... Everything is buttery smooth... I jnplug it... Its still buttery smooth...
As soon as screen off and on... Graphics stutter .
Drop down bar lags a bit... Scrolling is very stutter... Facebook app turns HORRIBLY slow (Much slower than when charging..) Everything... Now, bear in mind the phone doesn't lag... All apps are still snappy opening... Still fast to USE but scrolling is terrible... And drop down too... And launcher isn't half as smooth.. And...
You get the point.
I've done everything on every ROM... FSC... Blackhole.. Kernels, overclocking... Nothing seems to help...This one seems to be the best so far but...
It still does it...
Stock unbloated 4.0.4 doesn't do it... Why does JB..?
Can anyone shed some light to the situation?

4.3 for G2X?

Hey guys,
Soo... JB 4.3 is out, and seems quite interesting and worth upgrading to. So, I have a few questions:
1) Will it be worth for the devs to work on 4.3 for the P999?
2) Do you think there will be any roms for it?
3) If no, do you think that the development for the P999 is dead?
First, let me ask you a question. Do you know why we don't have a proper JB ROM yet, or even ICS ROM...?

I'm daily driving a hackfest, and I love it. I'm sure there's many others who can live with a hackfest too.
If there was a 4.3 ROM I'd think it'd be apolkosnik to release it but with a broken radio like the current 4.2.2 ROM out.
There isn't even a hackfest version of android 4.2. There is no complete source to any hackfest for this device anymore I believe. Development is dead unless Maz ends up getting something released if he's still working on anything outside his kernels in my opinion

hmm...closest app to a fully functioning recorder that i have tried so far but still not working correctly. The video freezes up every few seconds while recording and then continues to record again and then repeats the cycle in the playback. Appreciate your tip man but I gotta be honest, I think I'm pretty sh*t outta luck if I want a fully working HD recorder for an ICS ROM on this device lol.

If you want something fast and stable,
The last CM7 (3-01-2013)
Pick a Trinity kernel
Love the G2X with this setup!

How does the Temasek's CM7 Kang compare to the official CM7?

The SD and Internal SD are reversed, so if you have a larger SD it makes it seem like you have a large internal memory. Also the directory name for the "external" (now your 5gb internal) has changed to /mnt/emmc

Mine as well...
As usual, I'm only tested on Sprint - but should work on GSM as well.
I found BT is broken - looking into it, I assume something is missing.
Edit -- seems after flashing gapps and rebooting, BT turns on....
Edit 2 -- kb backlight issue seems an issue, it's always on (when the screen is on)
The DPI also seems "off"... at least everything is really tiny. But it's fast!
Enjoy!

It's just that Slim (and many other teams) like lower DPIs in their build.prop... But seriously I don't get it, it makes all the beauty of AOSP look out of place.
Good work

I applied the fix, didn't seem to actually fix it. They committed some other things which are now conflicting with it... trying to sort out how to properly fix it there.

I don't understand why you would have to keep editing .zip's... this is not normal.
Did the nightly's from Gummy have the same issue?
I don't need a video, I need a log. Pull the recovery.log if you're in TWRP.
idk man but its very irritating.. the scripts look damn near identical..im using open recovery.. funny thing after i flash slimkat im unable to mount data again until i reboot recovery.. then i can flash a rom.. no one elses roms do this.. i have no idea what the problem is with my phone..
this runs nicely once i changed out the meta-inf folder

You have a Class 10 / UHS-1 card maybe? Or maybe the speed tester has gone bizarre - what are you using to test the speed?

You can enable/disable 'call screening' in GV - either globally, or on a per-group basis.
