Followed the above instructions to get both apk's working but couldn't manage ... I can access both apps from root explorer, check the properties, set permissions.. read write execute.. should they all be ticked?? I tried several combinations but couldn't get the widget appear under widgets..

I've decompiled both sets of mods and there is nothing to suggest that this is a direct copy. The apk's are different. They also come from different bases. XXLSC & XXLS7.

Working but i have dpi issue Im on ANGRY rom and i have tablet mode with 213 dpi. After flash i cant change size of widgets. Before was fine. Is possible back to stock view of widgets?

yes because this app is not moded to tablet mode.
for restore back the older widget neet to extract from your rom zip and copy back to your phone ( and dont forghet set permisions)

Sorry, i don't wanted to be rude thanks for your shared widgets, i was searching a working accuweather (5x2 resizable) for leaked chinese rom; it's strange but original accuweather widget from GNote's gingerbread roms pushed on ics fill only 4x and not 5x.

I was interested in using this too but didnt work for me (failed to load widget or something)

Just click on the little grey button "mount r/w" in Root Explorer and it will work.

Coz its 4x2!!!CAn U Upload the Stock 5x5 for me!!I will make Transprent it also!!

Originally saw this thing on Xperia Z forum so tried it on our Xperia L and voilaa ! Its working.
✪ PROCEDURE ✪
1. Open any Root explorer
2. Navigate to system/app and find UxpNxtlockscreen.apk
3. Don't delete it. Just move it from there to have a backup or Rename like UxpNxtlockscreen.bak [ Extension should be changed to anything ]
4. Reboot to recovery
4. Flash the given file and reboot.
Note: Now this will work only and only on Clean N Tweaked ROM v2/2.1 as patched framework in ZIP is from CnT ROM. Stock version coming soon:good:

Just copy your backup again and set permissions as RW-R-R and reboot. Or just rename the extension to UxpNxtlockscreen.apk

Does it allow for customizing the shortcuts on the unlock, that's one of the things I missed the most about running custom ROM's, is putting all my shortcuts on my unlock screen for camera, facebook messenger, etc.

This one is for stock deodexed. Can you test and report back. Take nandroid if you went ot bootloop then it will help [actually it will work 99.99% ].

if you are like me always using a cm/google light(not samsung touched) rom,and using it with full pleasure.
for me still there was one thing really missing: the samsung 5 row keyboard with the numbers on top..
as far now i tried, flashing the samsung keyboard is not possible ,so i searched for another solution and found one:laugh::laugh:
its a lg-pro and a lg-g2 keyboard rip, ive installed both of them and everything works: typing,swype,themes,splitscreen etc no fc s!!see pictures below!!i use it as my first keyboard but i can also be installed as a second keyboard
but the best things is there is a build in theme selector so you dont have to flash.install a theme seperatly like most keyboard..just go into the settings and select a theme!!you can switch any time in any colour, as for now i have 36 themes for the lg G2/G3 and 4 for the lg pro(more coming)!!! look hereView attachment 2560252
in both lg2 and the lg pro install instructions there is a theme zip included they contain the themes which comes stock with the keyboard the other themes i added can be found in the link!!
the number 1. is the lg-pro keyboard rip in which everything works except it has no build in emoji(if you use whatsapp etc etc which has emoji itself and thats fine with you and no need for extra options this is the best keyboard)
the number 2. is the lg-g2 keyboard ripwith some more settings and with a build in and working emoji
its working/tested on my s4/note3 running PROBAM 1.2.5 but should work on any other rom/if not let me know
ATTENTION:IF YOU INSTALLED THE PRO AND WANT TO INSTALL THE G2 OR VICE VERSA,ITS BEST TO UNINSTALL THE LGKEYBOARD YOU HAVE FIRST INSTALLED BEFORE INSTALLING THE OTHER ...THIS TO PREVENT COLLAPSES AND/OR INSTALL FAILURE

2-lg g2 keyboard rip
ok...down here ill post the lg g2 keyboard.apk,is has some more options for the rest is almost looks the same as the pro keyboard.
the only thing:you have to add some lines in you phone build.prop.
so it does contain some work to install but then youll have emoij and some more nice options!!!
if you dont care about this installing the pro keyboard is easier and faster.....

its working look at pic below!!...in landscape mode you have to drag the keyboard to the sides with your fingers.didnt succeed first few times must practise:laugh:but it works..
you might disable swype first ..try and let meknow.....

This widget is one of the coolest ever. I have no idea why it's no longer available. The current widgets for accuweather don't come close. However, I have yet to find one person who has come up with a way to get this widget to work with my android version. I'm using an SGH-i537. running android 4.2.2 and MF3. I typically use go launcher ex, but also have TW installed. Using go launcher, I get nothing with this widget, which should be expected, but with the tw launcher I have installed, I always get problem with widget try reinstalling. Any ideas?

However, I have yet to find one person who has come up with a way to get this widget to work with my android version. I'm using an SGH-i537. running android 4.2.2 and MF3. I typically use go launcher ex, but also have TW installed. Using go launcher, I get nothing with this widget, which should be expected, but with the tw launcher I have installed, I always get problem with widget try reinstalling. Any ideas?

Using this widget now with TW, too
There will be no way to get it running on another launcher I think there are some ugly dependencies to the touchwiz framework, didn't see it free from it since galaxy S/2/3..
Don't want to spam this thread but did you try "Fancy Widgets", nice and free

thanks but all this did was cause my phone errors during install and my phone automatically reset itself...guess this wasnt meant for the S4 active or not meant for android 4.2.2 thanks anyways tho...PS my phone was not rooted perhaps thats why?

If I recall that right, inside that .zip there are just the 2 Files, no installation.
Just have a look inside with ES File Explorer.

You can set transparency in recents with this Xposed module
And yeah...if itsw O.K with you - I would like to edit this apk to show only one color and would try to build few separate colors.
Of course, if I have permission to use this.

Installed on Xperia S Stock 4.1.2, no root. Works perfect... but lags extremely with 1,5GHz Dual.
Please, port it to non-Xperia devices !
