laggs are due to our weak gpu, best you can do it flash custom kernel that supports over clock,to improve cpu rendering.
kabayan, if u might want to install a custom kernel, u cn try uc kernel v9 1009 for which i used the longest time around with no issues. u cn also try vurrut's and choose a version (try reading first the comments b4 nstalling). f u nid help with nstallation, instructions on how to flash kernels w/ respect to their developers are placed within their respective posts.
cheers

tried the mosh kernel by recognized developer CoolDevelopment ? The kernel has developed a lot .. ask in the rom thread and CoolDevelopment as well if you can flash his kernel over the rom you are using .. i think you can but better ask him rather than bricking your device .. all the best and happy flashing ..
