[Q] AOKP roms don't work

I have a problem with roms that are based of of AOSP, like CyanogenMod or Avatar rom. Any rom that has a Sense base works fine.
I have:
-Hboot 2.14
-TWRP 2.4.2
-currently running Info Rom
Please keep instructions as simple as possible please

If your boot loader is unlocked and you have recovery installed, its just a matter of flashing an ICS ROM. If you're completely stock, there's no way

S-on is not what causes you to do anything. It is the boot loader that you need to worry about. Without unlocking it, you can't do anything. If you are on the 3.18 firmware there is nothing you can do.

Sounds like you have the tegra 3 one x. If your boot loader does not say Evita, you need to visit the international one x forums. At the type on HTC one x and choose the one that does not say AT&T

Well unlike the International HTC One X, this device is not as popular (comparatively) and much more expensive, so there would be less people & developers using it which would be one of the reasons. Also you have differing versions in Europe and Asia.

As much as I agree with you that's where it stands, in reality. Due to the cost many people are opting for Xperia Zs and Notes (Here in India), though I find the Butterfly better.

We need to find some devs I jus spoke to chevyboyusa and he is willing to help us I gave him some information and he said he can work blindly without the device only thing he needed was my build.prop and I gave him some otas and the system dump link he will get bk to me

Try and install the tw 1.14.709 first via recovery then search for the ota which is the tw 1.18.709 then search for updates again u can't be rooted. I already walk johnny Tru it

Did u flash firmware via bootloader, remember u have to have unlocked bootloader and be unrooted

I've tried this, it fails while checking the files, says calculator doesn't match or something like that.
A nandroid or a Rom would be good.
I can't seem to download the twrp backup that's already been supplied.

No I went from 1.03.709 to 1.18.709.
It was saying up to date when trying to ota on 1.03.709

How do I upgrade HBoot in my predicament?

Well as everyone know I'm new here to the HTC One XL forums and I was reading up on AOSP roms and heard you need to upgrade to 2.14 hboot in order for touch screen to work, same with Sense 5 4.2.2 Rom ......
My phones details
Current Rom - KickDroid XL
Hboot - 1.09, s-offed, HTC dev unlock, superCID ....
I received the phone like this from a friend cause I asked him to do this for me cause I don't have a computer at the moment..... So is there anyway I can upgrade Hboot without pc?

Thanks for reply, but still doesn't answer my question.... Because I don't have a computer or any way to one... so I can't RUU, is there a way to update hboot via recovery...or by placing a zip on root of sdcard and update via bootloader
