When your refer to network you mean wifi? Or 3G? If its 3G try resetting your APN or check if its configured

Every time I make a backup through cwm then later go back and try to restore it says files not found where my backup is stored at. I've never had a problem doing this before any ideas? I have 3 backups that's saying the same thing.

So when you go to restore, you can literally see the list of backups?
Or did you do something like backup to sdcard and try restoring from external sdcard?

Every time I do a backup I go into cwm and click backup an it does its thing. But won't restore the files for some reason cuz it says no files found. When I go in with root explorer and open the backups I can see the files in each backup. I have them on the sdcard and phone. I tried restoring from both ways.

Are the backups under /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/ ?
Do you have a /backup and a /blobs folder under /clockworkmod?
Did you rename them with spaces or some funky characters?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Yes there under sdcard/clockwork/backup. Come to think of it I did change the file name of the backups.

Is there anyway to get them back to normal or are they screwed?

Take out the spaces, put dashes or dots and see if they show up
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I didn't try changing the names again because it didn't even dawn on me that they would mess up from renaming them.

Alright will do.

I'm befuddled. Can you see zip files on your sdcard when you go to " install zip from SD?"
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Yes I can I just flashed the 4.2 camera last night.

Can I still use the same version of rootdebugfs that I used for ICS to root the ota JB?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
No.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Learn to search. There is a thread specifically related to the new way to root the new OTA.

I just want to root my phone... no recovery. No bootloader no ROM. Just root to push stuff to the system/app partition...
Is it possible?

Use nowipe option and you should be fine
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Yup. I'm good. Pushed note2 gallery. Working well. Anything else I can do with just being rooted?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Pretty much add whatever mods that don't require an unlocked bootloader.
Use most of the apps that requires root. Please don't try to flash any roms. Titanium backup will be good for backing up your apps
