[Q] A2DP issues with 4.2.1 AOKP - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

When I first installed 4.2.1 AOKP the bluetooth was very bad. Most of time if I tried to toggle bluetooth on and off it just would not come on and when it did if I tried to play a music or podcast via bluetooth(Jawbone ICON) it would be fine for like 3 seconds and then become garbled and staticy.
I heard that the latest build "aokp_d2vzw_unofficial_Jan-28-13.zip" fixed the problem so I installed that and although it is better, the voices sound like they are talking at 80% speed and there is still some static and clicking. Any thoughts? Re-flash? Wait for better build or is there something arcane I am missing?
Thanks

Audio Issue

My gTab is running VEGAn 5.1.1 w/supplement. If I play a mp4 and let the tab go to sleep, sometimes when I wake it the audio will be off (still on according to settings) or even worse there will be a repeating white noise. The only way I've found to get audio working again is to reboot. I've tried the stock player, ES video and Mplayer, same results. The tab is rock solid otherwise, no errors or fc's. Any ideas?
I have the same issue with my tablet running Vegan 5.1.1. It also happens sometimes just after you wake it up. I made sure last night that sound was working and this morning after wake from sleep I tested it right away and there was this horrible 'white noise' again (which can't be turned off even by muting and lasts for 5 seconds).
Search reveals some people having this problem, but I could not find a solution. I'd really like to know if it is a software or hardware issue so I can decide whether to send it back or not.
Would a reinstall of the rom help?
audio noise
I am running VEGAn GE 7.0.0 on two different gtabs and have experienced the same white noise issue described above. Occasionally when waking up I have experienced a blast of white noise from the speakers. Sometimes it stops on its own (after about 5 sec) other times I have to reboot.
Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

[Q] Bluetooth and Notifcation sounds

So I have a bluetooth stereo headset and loving it with my Transformer, about 9 of music play time without wires, just leaving it there while I move around working on things. The only issue is (pretty sure after the recent honeycomb update) right now when I'm using the bluetooth headset and I get a notification whether from my msn or email, the notification sound plays from the tablet and not the headphones, even though I have music playing. Before the update however, I did prefer it where I did get a notification, the music in the background lowers its sound volume to let me hear that I have a notification. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or is there a way to fix it or is it just a firmware problem (build number is 8.2.3.13 atm) ;o I tried playing with the settings but no luck.
If anyone can help ^^; please and thanks

[Q] Anyone else experience popping sound ONLY during Google Now voice search sounds

ROM CM10.1 M Snapshot and CM10 Stable
I've noticed popping and/or crackling sounds when Google Now plays back the confirmation audio (the "ba-ding!" when the microphone button is tapped, and the sound that plays after you finish talking).
The popping sounds can be heard through headphones as well as the external speaker, and does not happen any other time (music, notifications, ringtones).
Anyone else?
EDIT: I've found that the popping sound occurs when I activate the microphone button too quickly, but only with certain sound files. I can recreate the popping sound if I select certain notification sounds in the settings screen and tap it repeatedly. It seems more like a driver issue to me than a hardware problem if my memory of popping audio in Linux serves me right.
Audio does not pop while listening to music, watching videos, streaming music, etc. I think it may have something to do with the wav files used in Google Now. I'm trying to edit them in Audacity, but I'm being forced to import them as raw audio, but they don't play back properly.
EDIT 2: I used Odin to flash back to stock and it does not make any crackling sounds at all. This is clearly an issue with the ROM's I've been using.
Same problem here, popping sound on Google Now launch and quit. Driving me up a wall. Using AOSP based ROM and a CM10.1 kernel. Super noob here so, kernel maybe?

Sorry to rez an old thread, but this is the only one I've been able to come across where you have stated exactly the same issue I am having with Google Now. That popping noise is driving me crazy! Did you ever find a solution for it or a new rom that does not have this issue. I'm on a 4.1.2-based CM 10.0 rom and would love to find a fix for my current rom as I don't want to upgrade to 4.2+ as the multi-user capabilities of it make my precious Directory Bind unusable

Nope, sorry. I eventually returned it to stock and sold the phone. I'm poor.

unfortunately I have not been able to fix the Google now popping sound, I was able to get directory bind working however, if you need further assistance with that I can help you.

[Q] After bluetooth audio, other audio fails

Hi,
I'm on the final CM10.2.0 build (Dec 2 2013), MF1 firmware + ML1 modem, and I'm having a new audio problem that wasn't there on CM 10.1.2 before...
When I reboot the phone it pairs correctly with my car radio over Bluetooth, and Google Play Music plays my playlist just fine that way. Then when I leave the car, that becomes the only app that can do audio - Youtube, for example, is silent and in fact playback gets stuck 15 seconds into each video, then advances one frame every 20 seconds or so. Other apps like the alarm clock or phone ringer have no audio either. When I got a call, I had no call audio for the first 10 seconds, then suddenly it kicked in.
This persists until I reboot. Then all apps play audio correctly until the next time I get in the car and it plays over Bluetooth. Yes, I've checked my speaker volume levels
Also oddly, the first time post-reboot that I get in the car, it auto-plays like it used to. But subsequent times, I have to go to Google Play Music and hit Play manually.
Has anyone seen something like this? Searching hasn't turned up any similar problems.
Thanks!
Just to wrap up my own question in case others see this too -
The problem seems to be Google Play Music. After my OP, I flashed back to stock and back to CM 10.2.1, a newer build than I had before. With this clean state, I didn't do much except set up the car pairing, and within a few tries it was back to the problem. I started using Apollo and uninstalled GPM, and have been running for a few weeks without any problems.

Audio glitches with some music players

I listen to music from my N5 a lot.
Before I got my N5, I used PowerAmp. This is not possible anymore, because certain audio glitches happen every roughly 5 mins (sometimes more/less often). The audio glitches can best be described as a short sound (not longer then half a second) that is a mix of a pop and some sort of electrical noise, IN the headset. Basically, very difficult to describe but incredibly annoying nonetheless.
Anyhow, PowerAmp is not the only player that has this audio glitch. N7 Player has the exact same problem. Oddly enough, both Google Play Music and Rocket Player does not have this issue what so ever. I've only tested these four players, but as stated two of them has this issue.
Does anyone know why this happens? And even better, does anyone know of a possible fix?
What I know the problem is not:
A problem with the audio file itself. I can experience the glitch, rewind a few seconds and it's not there when I listen again. Also using Winamp on my desktop has 0 audio glitches.
A problem with the headset. Tried this on my SoundMagic E30's and Razer Tiamat 2.2, both get it.
A problem with the "OK Google" hotword detection, turning this off did nothing. (Suggestion from PowerAmp bug forums)
A problem with the kernel/ROM. I've experienced this with PA, PA+ElementalX, SlimKat and Slimkat+ElementalX. Also tried Franco and Linaro at some point. (All based on AOSP, so maybe it's a problem with that, I dunno)
